You ever realize that you haven't changed your status in months, go back to change it, and then wonder what the *fuck* your previous status was even talking about?

No, no, they clearly are referring to Ohio -- which Georgia is geographically south of, so the theory is still sound.

Dɪᴀʟᴏɢᴜᴇ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✦ #8AB8E6 || Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✧ #EBB40E

Mira breathed a faint sigh of relief, but then hastily silenced herself, listening intently to Saber's words. Of course, what she was saying made sense, but she was moving so quickly that the timid witch couldn't help but feel that she was being a bit imprudent. "While identifying the other Servants should be... um... our top priority from this point forward, I think it would be best before that to clearly set out what you can do in battle. Umm, of course, I'll do the same." She glanced around, wondering where to begin, before it hit her that explaining where they were would probably be the easiest way to start.

"You may already have noticed, but I've done extensive work fortifying this mansion. As things stand, it would be difficult for most Masters to even get inside, and nigh impossible for an enemy to infiltrate without a phenomenal resistance to the power of my spells. Between my Bounded Fields and the curses I have prepared within the walls of this house, we're currently located within a natural stronghold." It seemed a bit arrogant, bragging about her own handiwork like that... but it was true, right? Although, that being said, her defensive measures were something of a double edged sword...

"However... erm... I believe that might also be a problem for us, in the long run. It's possible that the Grail might appear here, on this very spot, which means that other Masters may seek this place out deliberately. If they do so, and stumble upon us, that puts us at risk. Since we might quickly become targets outside of this mansion, I think it may be best if we take a more defensive approach to this battle rather than actively seeking out enemy Servants ourselves... Oh, but tonight's the exception," She grimaced, dusting the brim of her hat absentmindedly. "We're required to state our intention to participate in the war, which means... well, we'll need to depart from here briefly in order to do so. Other Masters may be keeping an eye out, so we might be in danger. Based on your own combat abilities, do you think that it would be safe to leave? I heard Saber was the strongest class, so... If not, I could send a familiar in our place..."

When even Jack, the assassin without pants, is saying your outfit is skimpy, you've got a problem.

Well ASIDE from the obvious. :P After all, being Lancer is suffering.
I just can't wait until I get the chance to do Servant stuff. I wanna see if anybody can guess who Lancer is. :D

...Probably wouldn't take effect if you just talked to her, provided you didn't realize she was a Servant. If you did, though, you'd probably forget that part of the conversation. If you did later witness Jack fighting after that, though, you'd discover that she was in fact the girl you talked to - which in turn would cause that information to be erased after the fight, leaving you at square one of "you talked to a girl."

Aster flinched, biting her lip to suppress the weak part of herself that still wanted to whimper at the sensation as the cockpit joints clamped down hard on her shoulders, waist, and legs. With a faint click, the magnetized seals that connected the force-dampening harness to her flightsuit engaged, and thin needles worked their way into each of her arms. A moment later, however, the pain vanished, replaced by a dull sensation of weight and energy working its way up her limbs and through her bloodstream as her first dose of piloting stims kicked in. She blinked, and her vision seemed to clear ahead of her - just in time, as the Alecto's viewscreen powered up, the distinctive series of glimmering green visors on its dish-like head sparking to life and revealing the sight of the ground far below her. Although she couldn't see it yet, a faint cloud of dust on the horizon told her the location of her objective.

The train. The mission was, in theory, simple - much like many of the mock operations she'd done in training. She was to eliminate multiple enemy escort units and acquire the cargo they protected unharmed. This time, she'd even have mercenary pilots providing her backup - a luxury she hadn't had while in training. And yet, why was it that she still felt so nervous? Even with the dose of drugs to hone her focus, her hands were still shaking even as the movement-sensitive control terminals folded up and closed tightly around them. The camera jittered for a moment, and she had to take a deep breath to stop herself from twitching too much.

Real combat. Real weapons. Real enemy pilots. It was like the doctor had always told her it would be: kill, or be killed. This was finally it. There was no going back now.

"Alecto, preparing to drop onto target site. Right... I'll open communications over the encrypted mercenary frequency now." Unable to remove her hands from the machine's controls, she instead blinked twice, an input which the cockpit camera registered as the hotkey in order to activate the suit's voice-commands. "Computer, begin transmission on T.'s frequency." The green dot in the corner of the HUD blinked once, and a mechanical voice responded in the affirmative, confirming that it was ready to send her signal.

"This is Pilot Designate F-003 'Alecto' hailing 'T.' We are now confirming arrival over the Iron Canal. I'll standby just outside of sensor range, but I'm prepared for rapid aerial deployment against the target when all other units are in position. Please confirm your status. Alecto out."

@VitaVitaAR Sorry for the delay. Finally managed to get another Mira post in.

...Also, I think I just flipped the Nasuverse upside down with that closing question. Something is seriously wrong here.
