You ever realize that you haven't changed your status in months, go back to change it, and then wonder what the *fuck* your previous status was even talking about?

No, no, they clearly are referring to Ohio -- which Georgia is geographically south of, so the theory is still sound.

Bio

Oh, hi. Thanks for checking in.

I'm an exceedingly enthusiastic roleplayer who's been writing for about ten years now and yet still hasn't managed to produce any kind of solo piece of writing worth reading. I like to consider myself a good writer, but that's kind of a matter of opinion, as many would argue that my tendency to ramble on at entirely excessive length about things is boring rather than interesting. I'm also incredibly OCD about formatting, so if you're wondering why my bios look so fancy, that's why. It's just something I do because... reasons, I guess.

Anyway, as you've probably noticed from my avatars and RP choices, I'm more than a bit of a fan of anime and manga, but also enjoy movies, video games, the occasional comic book... the list goes on. For you see, I am not a mere dork - I am the one spoken of in legends, the one whose dorkiness transcends all forms and boundaries. I am... the Legendary... OMNI-DORK!

...Anyway, thanks for dropping in to check on my profile! Hope to RP with you sometime!

As Alpha Squad's acquired transport swiftly vanished into the distance, Fumika herself set about finding a place to hide. She was at the center of Point A - a large enclosure of metal shipping crates directly underneath the large crane overhead, with several prominent bits of scaffolding and large archways between them all around. In this sort of environment... An opponent probably couldn't be bothered to check every crate, right? She glanced around until something caught her eye - one crate had a small hole rusted into the back. She quickly ran over to this one, opened the latch, then slipped inside, leaving the latch ever-so-slightly ajar. Peering out through the hole, she then set to work on her first main plan.

...Of course, it would have seemed utterly unbelievable if she'd projected copies of her entire team guarding the point. Anyone who saw it would immediately understand how unreasonable such a strategy would be, and realized that it must have been some kind of trick. But, if she simply created enough people to give her the appearance of a numerical advantage... Her eyes shifted to bright green, and a matching arrow formed in her hair as the bar around her head lit up, glowing faintly in the dark. Peering with a single eye out through the tiny hole, she set about her work.

Copies of Sen, Lysander, Mina, and Jin all appeared standing at intervals around the capture point, all just barely within 15 meters of her hideout. Then, right in front of the crate she herself was hiding in, another one of herself appeared, standing in front of the hole in order to block her eye from the view of anyone who might arrive to attack. Her preparations were complete. This way, she could hold a point without slowing her team down, and even her power of simple mimicry could be useful. Even though she couldn't stand on the same level as everyone else, she could at least help them. She could at least not get in their way. Now, all there was to do was wait, and if everything went as planned-

"YOSHIDA KENICHI, COMIN' THROUGH!"

The sudden shout split the air, and Fumika jumped, almost banging her head against the top of the crate. Everything was not going as planned. How had an enemy arrived so quickly? There was no way anyone was that fast, unless it was-

Her heart sank as the familiar figure of the short, blue-haired boy from before landed right in the middle of her circle of images, grinning from ear to ear. Out of everyone on the opposing team, he was the one she was most certain she didn't want to fight. She'd been sure that he'd be holding C, the point with the most open space, and had even sent Sen over there as his natural counter! So then why? Why had her prediction turned out to be so completely wrong? She frantically began tugging at her hair, trying to come up with some kind of a way out.

She couldn't run. Even if she did, he'd just catch her and eliminate her with his superior speed and strength. He didn't seem to care that he was outnumbered, either. Not that it mattered, it'd be no different from how it always was!

A blur of black circled all around her. Trees shook in the sudden wind as the figure, too fast for her eyes to follow, slammed into one of her copies, shattering it into dust before spinning to kick another one into the wall. Fumika took a step back, but by then, it was already too late. Another three strikes, faster than she could even see, destroyed all her remaining doppelgangers, and before she could process what was happening, she'd already been knocked to the ground. She groaned, rubbing her eyes as her vision cleared to see Haruka standing over her with a stern expression on her face.

"Come on, Fumi, are you even trying?" She asked, the disappointment in her voice hurting even more than the blow she'd just received, or the knowledge of her defeat.

She'd tried again. This time, she created obstacles, tried to bar the way. All she could do was slow Haruka down before she eventually broke through. "You did a bit better that time!" She said consolingly. "Good job!"

Who had done a good job? Nothing had changed but the time it took to beat her. She hadn't even landed a single hit. Haruka was simply too strong. There was no way... absolutely no way that a fake like her could keep up with the real thing, or stand on the same level. No matter how hard she tried, she just had to accept that fact.

Nothing would change. Nothing would change. Nothing would...

...Change. It had to change. This time... this time, she couldn't hold her allies back. Even if she couldn't win, this fight really was different. She didn't have to beat him, after all - she just had to stall for time! If she could just buy the others time to take the remaining two points, then her efforts wouldn't be in vain! In that case... A distraction! She needed a distraction! He hadn't seemed to notice that her "teammates" were actually fakes. Maybe, if she could just fool him into surrendering! Right, this was no time to panic! She still had the upper hand!

She tried her best to have her copy mime the movement of her own lips as she spoke, but couldn't see clearly enough to tell whether or not the result was accurate. She placed her mouth against the hole in the crate, wanting to mask the echo from within the hollow box as much as possible, so that it would sound like the voice was really coming from her image outside. Maybe... Maybe he wouldn't notice!

"You're surrounded. Don't move. Please, surrender, and we won't have to hurt you." She kept her message short and simple. Anything longer, and he'd probably have noticed the discrepancy between her copy's location and the source of the voice that was talking. She just hoped he didn't get any closer to any of the copies she'd made... if he did, he might realize that although they appeared to be breathing, they weren't actually making a sound!

After that, everything was a blur. Kyōka stumbled backward as more Negari came on, only to be stopped by... Who? A girl she didn't recognize had appeared out of nowhere and pulverized her assailants, but just when she thought she was safe, her rescuer grabbed her by the collar and began screaming in her face. Her mind was spinning too fast to fully comprehend what was being said, but before she knew it, Pink-senpai was there too, along with another new arrival. There were so many Magical Girls all of a sudden... what was going on? She vaguely remembered that the white-haired girl had done something just before she was knocked to the ground... Had she been calling for help? Then... in that case... were they safe?

"Your assistance is much appreciated, Miss Pink!" Her fairy's voice rang in her ears as Ariel fluttered down in front of her. "Don't worry about us. I'm healing Aegis' wound as we speak. It's bloody, but it's not very deep. Aegis, don't worry, alright? We'll leave this one to the professionals. Just take the bystanders and get as far away from here as you can!"

Suddenly, the pain she'd felt began to fade, and feeling returned to her arm. She looked down to see the bloody gash left in her shoulder closing up. Everything was alright. She wasn't going to die. She just... just had to get away from here...

"A-ah... right! She nodded, hastily scrambling backward - although as she did so, she shot a glance back at those who were still fighting. They... they could handle this, right? If only... If only she'd had a little more energy left, then she might have been able to do something... But the memory of her earlier pain was quick to snap her out of these delusions of heroism. No, right now, she definitely would only just be in the way. Ariel was right... She needed to get everyone out of here while all the new arrivals had the Negari occupied.

Um, excuse me! Please come with me! I'll take you to where it's safer!"
...Oh. Right. Crap. I kinda didn't notice that Vita had posted. Sorry about that. @Raineh Daze

Mira breathed a faint sigh of relief, but then hastily silenced herself, listening intently to Saber's words. Of course, what she was saying made sense, but she was moving so quickly that the timid witch couldn't help but feel that she was being a bit imprudent. "While identifying the other Servants should be... um... our top priority from this point forward, I think it would be best before that to clearly set out what you can do in battle. Umm, of course, I'll do the same." She glanced around, wondering where to begin, before it hit her that explaining where they were would probably be the easiest way to start.

"You may already have noticed, but I've done extensive work fortifying this mansion. As things stand, it would be difficult for most Masters to even get inside, and nigh impossible for an enemy to infiltrate without a phenomenal resistance to the power of my spells. Between my Bounded Fields and the curses I have prepared within the walls of this house, we're currently located within a natural stronghold." It seemed a bit arrogant, bragging about her own handiwork like that... but it was true, right? Although, that being said, her defensive measures were something of a double edged sword...

"However... erm... I believe that might also be a problem for us, in the long run. It's possible that the Grail might appear here, on this very spot, which means that other Masters may seek this place out deliberately. If they do so, and stumble upon us, that puts us at risk. Since we might quickly become targets outside of this mansion, I think it may be best if we take a more defensive approach to this battle rather than actively seeking out enemy Servants ourselves... Oh, but tonight's the exception," She grimaced, dusting the brim of her hat absentmindedly. "We're required to state our intention to participate in the war, which means... well, we'll need to depart from here briefly in order to do so. Other Masters may be keeping an eye out, so we might be in danger. Based on your own combat abilities, do you think that it would be safe to leave? I heard Saber was the strongest class, so... If not, I could send a familiar in our place..."

When even Jack, the assassin without pants, is saying your outfit is skimpy, you've got a problem.
