You ever realize that you haven't changed your status in months, go back to change it, and then wonder what the *fuck* your previous status was even talking about?

No, no, they clearly are referring to Ohio -- which Georgia is geographically south of, so the theory is still sound.

Bio

Oh, hi. Thanks for checking in.

I'm an exceedingly enthusiastic roleplayer who's been writing for about ten years now and yet still hasn't managed to produce any kind of solo piece of writing worth reading. I like to consider myself a good writer, but that's kind of a matter of opinion, as many would argue that my tendency to ramble on at entirely excessive length about things is boring rather than interesting. I'm also incredibly OCD about formatting, so if you're wondering why my bios look so fancy, that's why. It's just something I do because... reasons, I guess.

Anyway, as you've probably noticed from my avatars and RP choices, I'm more than a bit of a fan of anime and manga, but also enjoy movies, video games, the occasional comic book... the list goes on. For you see, I am not a mere dork - I am the one spoken of in legends, the one whose dorkiness transcends all forms and boundaries. I am... the Legendary... OMNI-DORK!

...Anyway, thanks for dropping in to check on my profile! Hope to RP with you sometime!

@Raineh DazeBut that's exactly the problem. Since he did that, he got too far away for the stone to track him effectively too quickly. Berserker only leaped off a short distance and then powered down, so it might be possible to trail him.

(Also I just think Berserker and Lancer having a "fight" would be hilarious because they're both massive derps and would probably spend more time trolling than actually fighting. :P)
@VitaVitaARI'll hold off on making another Mira post for the time being, since I want to give Team Assassin a chance to decide on what they're doing before I go ahead with more stuff on her end. After all, having her just leave pre-emptively and get to neutral ground before they can react is little different than powergaming in a fight to dodge all attacks, considering the way Team Assassin works. That, and I don't want things to move along too quickly without giving Team Lancer a chance to show up and see what's going on, which means waiting for @Seirei No Hai to get a chance to respond to me again, and we seem to live in different timezones, so...

Also, Seirei, if Edward orders her to take them, I'll do a timeskip of her carrying him - whether he likes it or not :D - to where her stone leads her.

...Now the question is just who the stone ended up getting a read on? Rider and Berserker are the most likely candidates, since both of them were burning Prana like crazy. Of the two, I think Berserker's more likely, since Rider distanced himself too far too quickly. So maybe I'll just go pester him...

Lancer

Lancer couldn't help but giggle at her Master's rather excessive reaction. Even if his initial assumption of her meaning was wrong, his end conclusion wasn't necessarily inaccurate. But, even so, that was no reason to abandon all semblance of decorum, was it? Her Master should have kept his status in mind, and demonstrated restraint. Then again, she supposed, it wasn't unusual he'd be surprised. After all, it was preposterous to think someone as beautiful and amazing as herself had nobody to divert her attentions away from their rightful object, was it not? He must have been blessing his good fortune at that very moment! Hmm... In that case, she'd pardon his outburst, even if it was a little childish and embarrassing, because it was endearing and cute in at least an equal measure. She grinned to herself. Even Edward's faults had charms of their own! He really was just so unbelievably, unfairly adorable!

"Now, my dear Master, that isn't at all what I said," She all but wagged her finger at him to demonstrate that he was mistaken. "Of course, there were certain people from whom I was inseparable, such as my sisters, and a certain man of peerless bravery and virtue." She stopped herself from going any further. It was dangerous to give out such secrets, even to- no, especially to her Master. "But, although we shared in many revels, hunts, battles, victories, defeats, triumphs, and sorrows... Well, I imagine that things have changed somewhat in this more peaceable era, have they not?"

She might have said more, but at that moment, a faint pulse of prana came to her attention right as something tapped against her foot. A tiny stone shifted uneasily under the tablecloth, and she sighed in disappointment and frustration. They had only just been seated! And here she'd been looking forward to a nice meal with her Master. Oh, well. She'd just have to drag him out some other time. For right now, orders were orders.

"Or, perhaps they haven't changed as much as I'd thought. It seems some of the other Servants have made their move." She gave the stone propped against her foot a gentle kick right as she reached down, catching it midair and holding it up to the light so that her Master could see it clearly. The rune within pulsed ever so faintly, and she cocked her head towards the door. "Really, it's a sin to pass up a chance at a meal when we've already been seated, but perhaps the same could be said of passing up any... opportunity. What do you say, Master? Care for a change of the night's entertainment?"

@Seirei No HaiSure, if you want to. Otherwise, I'll include it in my next post.
We now have two confirmed Masters who are childish enough to be scared of dying, and a grand total of... I think five female Masters? Also multiple female servants.

THIS IS A WAR WHICH MUCKS ABOUT WITH WOMEN AND CHILDREN.

Mira Grace

As the remaining two Servants both departed just as swiftly as they'd come, Mira took a moment to catch her breath. The adrenaline slowly began to thin in her veins, and as she stopped pumping Prana through her circuits, the feeling returned slowly to her extremities, while the heat in her blood began to subside. Suddenly, she was... cold? Was this sweat across her brow? How long, she wondered, had her legs been shaking like this? She found herself gasping for air, before exhaling it in a sigh of relief.

"Two Servants on the way into the city alone... Perhaps I underestimated this war," She said shakily, adjusting her hat as she tried to process all that had just happened. The Master of Rider hadn't seemed keen on continuing the fight with them herself... and Rider's last speech to them had been almost friendly. Assuming he could be trusted, then that meant... he wouldn't attack them again until the war's end, right? Not having to worry about such a dangerous enemy would make things significantly easier for them, especially if they wanted to maintain a defensive strategy. Even if he didn't have Magic Resistance, Rider's speed alone might negate all the advantages provided by her home's Bounded Field, which would make clashing with him difficult even on her own home turf.

But what Berserker's Master had said also gave her pause. All she'd heard were her last words, but... what did she mean about Rider abandoning her Master? Why would an enemy care about such a thing? And that much aside, why would Rider want to give up on the one who supplied him with Prana in the first place? It made no sense... And what was all that talk about fate supposed to be?

No matter. Speculation would only get so far, and she could already feel a chill running up her spine. She'd thought she was relatively safe before, but... Just as she'd thought, the outside world really was terrifying! She wrapped her arms tightly around herself, clinging to what little warmth she had as her blood ran cold, her fingers fidgeting and fretting with the hem of her cloak. She hadn't even had time to notice that she was being attacked before Rider had already been upon them... Which meant even now, there might be other Servants hiding around every corner, just waiting for the chance to strike. Saber had been incredible, but could she really count on her to protect her from every single possible threat? Statistically speaking, it seemed like sooner or later, someone could get her. She couldn't just stand idly around here. It wasn't safe. Where would the next attack come from? Above? Behind? The flank? Below, even? Nowhere was safe.

"S-Saber, let's hurry and go, okay?" She tried her hardest to keep her teeth from chattering as she began muttering under her breath. "The outside... The outside isn't safe. Mother was really right, we can't afford to stray too far - not for long. They might even be watching me right now... Where? It doesn't matter. Let's hurry to the church and then go back. Let's try again on a different night. I don't... I don't want... No, no, no. Ah, I should have brought my broomstick... If we'd flown, this might never have happened...!" Her voice trailed off into an inaudible, squeaking whimper as she shook her head and set her eyes on the path ahead. Normally, she'd have taken off running just to get away from this terrifying place, but... Until Saber agreed to go with her, she didn't want to budge from the cursed ground she now occupied. She didn't want to move for a second if it might mean exposing herself to another attack! Her crows' eyes darted frantically across the ground all around, looking for even the slightest sign of movement. She couldn't find anything... But that only made her more afraid, since didn't that mean that if there was someone there, they were well and truly capable of approaching her without being discovered? Witches were supposed to work best at night, and Mira had never particularly feared the dark. But...

She knew better than to not be afraid of what lay hidden within it.

Fumika blinked at her new friend's sudden gesture of thanks, and then nodded a bit sheepishly. "You're welcome," She parroted back, as she'd always been taught. Formulaic interactions like these were easy enough to follow, although she wasn't terribly good at initiating them. Still... Yoshida seemed happy, so she'd managed to do it right, hadn't she?

She lapsed into silence after that, though, and he didn't seem inclined to break it for the moments that followed. Wait, was she supposed to say something? But she didn't really have much else to say... It would have been fine with her to just listen to him talk. He was good at talking. She could tell because whenever he smiled, it made her want to smile too. He was always very friendly and energetic and nice, and so listening to him talk as also nice, because she felt like he wanted her to hear him. It wasn't always that way with other people. Sometimes, it felt more like she just happened to be in their presence. Here, it felt like she was being talked to, and that made her happy.

Oh. She'd stopped paying attention again, because he hadn't been saying anything... He seemed to be watching the people who were slowly trickling back into the classroom. She, of course, hadn't noticed them either, but wasn't surprised to see them. After all, she'd expected the exercise to likely be over, so it was only natural that they'd be on their way back to class, just like Yoshida had said. Yoshida knew a lot of things, now that she thought about it. She was glad he had talked to her.

Then, all of a sudden, he spoke to her again, and she snapped to attention. "Okay seriously, we got the right room, right?" She nodded immediately, without any hesitation. After all, she'd seen the sign over the doorway quite clearly when she'd returned, and remembered it perfectly, even in her tired state. Besides, the view from the windows was the same, too, so there could be no mistaking it.

"This is the right room. There's no mistake," She confirmed absolutely, before leaning over towards Yoshida and tapping on his chair. "See? The main character seat is here."

As she straightened back up again, feeling a slight pain in her back as she did so - her bruises were still aching, try though she might to ignore them - a few more people returned to class. This time, Fumika recognized them immediately - the boy who'd introduced himself as Jett and held the door for her on her way into the classroom, and the shiny girl from the exercise, Mina. Yoshida called out to them, though, which made her curious - was he already friends with them? She hadn't realized.

Somebody else approached, too, but Fumika didn't have much data on her, since she'd only seen a glimpse of her before the exercise, and had no idea what her name was or what she could do. Yoshida seemed to be on good terms with her, though, since she was very enthusiastic when she greeted him, and addressed him by his first name. According to Haruka, that was a big deal, since she'd been surprised when Fumika had called her that on first meeting her. Personally, she didn't really get it, since more people shared family names than given names, so it had confused her a lot as a child. But people acted weird when she did it, so she'd stopped. In any case, Yoshida had only called her by her surname, so she'd done the same, but this girl didn't seem to have that problem... Did that mean they were best friends instead of just friends? Also, Fumika couldn't help wonder what an MVP was, though. Oh! But Yoshida was talking about her, so she couldn't afford to get too distracted wondering about things like that. Still, what he said was strange, and she wasn't really sure what he meant.

"Why am I a cookie?" She pondered, tilting her head to one side in that oddly bird-like sort of way as her antenna curled once again to the left. It might have just been a total coincidence caused by her lack of energy to keep it upright, but it still looked oddly like a question mark...

@Lucius Cypher@Zeroth
@Raineh DazeWell, yeah, that was my assumption. Although, I guess Assassin might be in a bad way even if she one shotted Mira, since Saber wouldn't likely just let her walk away or give her the chance to re-conceal herself, so I guess there's still a chance for Mira not to just be insta-gibbed the moment she's finally gone outside. XD
Wait, does Magic Resistance apply against Maria the Ripper? Because it's a curse, but it just takes the form of physical damage...
Will whip up a Mira post later this evening. Although, with everyone else having left, there's no longer any logical reason for Team Assassin to not just off her, and there's really not much that can be done to stop them unless Jack somehow slips up - unlikely, to say the least - so I'm not liking her chances of getting out of this unscathed. ^^;
