The darklings let out laughs at the fact that Brutrumukk called them Munchkins in turn. After he asked about the Duskmallow Pie and the Mug of Bumblebeer, along with a Morningstar, they answered him,
"Do we look like weaponsmiths to you? No, we don't have Morningstars!" "But you are a lucky customer! We have the last Duskmallow Pie and Bumblebeer!"
They bring out the items in question. The mug seems to be sealed with a stein like cover, and buzzing could be heard inside. The duskmallow pie, as the sign indicated, definitely has bite marks where a crust once was. Both goblinoids can see the interior of the pie: It looks like a butterscotch and marshmallow filling.
The darklings hold onto the items as they speak,
"The Duskmallow Pie is oh so sweet, especially when you're wounded! However, for this, we would like your ability to tan yourself and maintain your normal complexion when you're in the sun,"
The second darkling speaks up,
"A whole mug of Bumblebeer is great for when you want to boogie, socialize, and possibly find yourself a sweet honey! For this, we ask for your mental resilience to explosions of all kinds,"
After they give their offers for Brutrumukk to consider, they turn to Jub next for his requests.
They whisper to themselves and quickly rummage around the back. They then come out with the requested items.
The first item Jub requested were clothes alright....A full on pink and blue Jester Costume, complete with the hat with bells, and curled toe shoes. They speak,
"Now this is a deal! These clothes once belonged to a Jester. Now it's said that this Jester's spirit still clings to his attire, so should the wearer find themselves in danger while in this attire, they'll find themselves naturally able to tumble away! For this, I would say....the color of your blood would be a good price!"
The darklings then consult with each other quietly as they gathered the materials needed for the Find Familiar spell. They then seem to look through a small gadget and look in awe before giggling to themselves.
They speak to Jub once more, "For each component, there is a price!
For the herbs, we want the color of your eyes.
For the incense, you shall let the full moon influence you and let your wild side out to play forevermore.
For the charcoal, we ask for your most treasured memory.
And finally, the brass brazier...we have seen that your first born shall carve a great destiny for themselves! We want the custody of the child starting at the moment of their birth,"
Duskmallow Pie <--> Your skin becomes hot pink in direct sun light. Mug of Bumblebeer <--> Even the smallest explosion looks like a nuclear detonation to you.
Jester Costume <--> Your blood is now alabaster white. Herbs <--> The color of your eyes. Incense <--> On a full moon you think and act like you have transformed into a lycanthrope but in fact don’t. Charcoal <--> You lose your most treasured memory. Brass Brazier <--> Your firstborn shall carve out a great destiny but will be taken from you at the moment of its birth, either through the fey arriving and taking it or its mortal body arriving as a still birth and it's soul being born into the fey wild.
imagine: Jub has to literally give over one of his kidneys in order to get the stuff for his ritual, but then it doesn't work because it technically wasn't worth 10gp.
That's a very Feywild logic thing, I can imagine them pulling some shit like that.

Wow, the Feywild is no joke, ya'll. You approach a shopkeeper, ask if they have anything in stock, and they pull out and spin a whole roulette wheel of how much they're going to ruin your day.
The fey don't mess around. Even shopping isn't safe here.
Cascade looks at the fruit among the shelves, before she turns her attention to Jormund with the chest. She listens with a smile as he pays Flicker compliments on their cooking skills. She looks to Flicker when they modestly dismissed his compliments. She speaks up, "Yeah, Shoots, Flicker! If you're getting these high of compliments, I'd say your cooking is something to really look forward to! No need to be modest, yeah?"
She then spends 20 Silver for enough fruits from Comfortable Meals for 10 meals. She takes care to examine the fruits before choosing. She places the ingredients into the chest Jormund was carrying carefully, thanking him for carrying the chest and ingredients.
At first Jub just has that worn out reaction when he tries to recall anything about Darklings. It's a similar reaction to a student trying to answer a question after hours of studying only to give up with an exasperated "I don't know!"
Thanks to Brutrumukk's encouragement, Jub does recall a few things about darklings.
Darklings are cursed fey who dwell in dark areas, such as caves. They cover their bodies in dark clothes every time they go out into the sun. Jub recalls that these things are necessary for them because their curse causes them to absorb light. When they absorb light, they essentially grow older and wizened. When they die, the light they absorb over the course of their life explodes outward, incinerating the Darkling, their possessions, and anyone near it.
Jub also recalls that they love art and its beauty. They'll even take a risk out in the light to see art.
If a Darkling is wise and respected, they qualify to undergo a ritual to become a Darkling Elder. Darkling Elders grow into a tall and fair form, like that of a grey-skinned elf.
