@Typical @Zanavy @OtomostheCrazy @fer1323 @LuckyBlackCatRheese opened his eyes groggily. It felt his whole body was unresponsive, every attempt at moving was met with nothing. At first he thought he was dealing with sleep paralysis or something...until he looked around. The sterile walls and equipment first reminded him of his earlier brush with the hospital, but his gut told him he was dead wrong. He struggled to recall how he might've gotten here, managing faint memories of getting jumped by a couple of oddly dressed people that reminded him of...Team Noble. That didn't make sense though, what would they have to gain from-
As if to answer his question a door he couldn't turn his head to see slid open and a rather annoyed woman strutted in with a clipboard accompanied by a couple of grunts. Their muffled voices didn't pierce the mental fog that Rheese was experiencing, but it sounded like the grunts might've been being chastised. Rheese struggled to listen.
"-swear he was hanging around the gym leaders before. He was the furthest away from the others so we thought..." The grunt trailed off
"You didn't think, none of you imbeciles ever do. What if they had followed you? Whatever, you've already kidnapped him so I guess we should extract any information we can before dumping him back in Mesalon. Mesprit, release. Azelf, let him speak." The woman sternly commanded some unseen presence.
Suddenly, Rheese felt as though his mind was dropped back into his body. He jolted, yet his body still didn't budge.
"Now." The woman said, her tone softening considerably as she leaned over the metal bed that Rheese found himself in.
"We're going to have a short chat, then, if I'm satisfied with what you have to say I'll see to it that you find your friends and get back to fighting gyms or whatever trainers do these days." The end of the statement sounded like a joke, but Rheese couldn't shake the feeling of imminent danger that absolutely radiated from this woman.
"A-and what-" Rheese coughed. It was like he hadn't spoken in days. The woman held a glass of water to his mouth and helped him drink a bit.
"What are we chatting about?" He asked, keeping his words brief to dissuade another coughing fit.
"Firstly, your encounter with a round man with an Aerodactyl. Did you...notice anything odd? Aside from such an incompetent wielding a powerful pokemon like that.""N-no I don't think so." Rheese said, he wasn't going to mention that Sophia had noticed something weird about the Aerodactyl. If his intuition was right and this lady was with Team noble, that information would probably put her in danger.
"See, I'd love to believe you kid but your face betrays you. You saw something, or one of your friends did...but to be honest the fact that your psychic friend can see shadow pokemon's not what I'm after." She said, taunting Rheese with the fact that she already knew all about Sophia without divulging how they had found out.
"I'm talking about a certain pink pokemon, one that has the DNA of all others, Mew. Mesprit make him more compliant.""O-oh." Rheese said as his mind seemed to mellow out slightly.
"Mew, yeah I remember seeing it. The big guy chased it away after it pissed the Aerodactyl off. The guy got mad so I guess it got away or something." Rheese's words just kind of slipped out. Any will to inhibit what he said just kind of melted.
"As I thought, you don't know where it went I suppose. Odd that it decided to protect you all instead of fleeing right away, but I suppose the only one that could explain why that is would be Mew itself...Noted." She said pacing slightly.
"On to the second bit of business. What do you know about Team Noble?" She asked and Rheese could do naught but answer.
...Hours later...
Rheese could lift his head again as the woman that had interrogated him had allowed him to move once more. "What now?" He asked as she seemed to have no more questions left.
"Well, I told you very plainly that we would take you back to Mesalon and let you figure out where your friends are...but I suppose that wasn't entirely truthful. You see, you might be a weak fledgling trainer now...In fact you most certainly are, but you did prove yourself to be relatively competent when compared to our run of the mill cannon fodder here. So I'll make you a deal, if you join us I'll fast track you some. The job pays well enough and all you've got to do is capture the occasional pokemon, lure the occasional sap to get grabbed as you did, and maybe on the occasion deal with people." She offered him the job as though it was just some cubicle gig, no fuss.
"No." Rheese said, it wasn't even slightly tempting, plus with Mesprit's influence he couldn't bring himself to lie even though it would probably guarantee his safety.
"Figures." The woman said simply.
"Alright, well plan B then. You there, grunt. Bring Uxie in." Squeaking wheels were heard as a small pokemon strapped to a strange device was brought in.
"You know, the lake trio were the first legendaries we got our hands on. Admittedly, turning them into shadow pokemon hasn't exactly worked out just yet...but it's amazing what you can make pokemon do with technology." She said putting the Pokemon directly in front of Rheese.
"Why are you still telling me this stuff? Unless you're about to kill me with that Pokemon or something.""Oh nothing so barbaric. Consider this Pokemon, Uxie, to be your only ticket out of here. As for why I'm still divulging information...You'll see, or I guess you won't. Let's just say there's not much harm in explaining things if you won't remember any of it. Oh and don't worry about any side effects, in a few hours you'll wake up as good as new." She said, typing something on the device. Uxie writhed in discomfort with every key clicked before the woman hit an enter key and its eyes shot wide open and glared directly into Rheese's.
The psychic type's abilities combed through every moment in Rheese's brain and removed every mention of Team Noble. Rheese's eyes glazed over slightly as he was escorted out of the room. His pokeballs were placed back on his belt as they walked him out of the building and began prodding him back down the route and out through Vareena. For some reason, random passerbys just kind of ignored the short procession.
