Hello all. I am an experienced writer who is writing my own fiction stories on the side. I can role play any genre. What I love most is being able to go-all-out when weaving tales with other writers. It just makes the story more interesting, so I can't wait to write with you. :)

The Body Snatcher’s bag was on a white glass table surrounded by a blue glowing field. The bag wasn’t dissected or spread open like some science project. It laid there limply in the field just as she had left it. The red and white alien man was standing before it, pressing a button on an orange panel as he flipped through pages of data. As the guinea pig Naija approached him from behind, the salarian didn’t turn his head to acknowledge her once. His black eyes remained on the pages of data.

“It is not a device for carrying objects but a creature with a dimension inside of it. It is not the dimension within it that is affected by the Mugen Virus. The Mugen Virus affects the creature. The dimension has me curious,” Solus answered Naija, his words rapid and devoid of emotion. “Why you would want to keep this organism puzzles me. I am afraid you cannot keep it. I wish to test it further. I want to see where the dimension inside it leads.”

Just as the yellow dragonfly inquired about Shantae’s well-being, they were approached by several other characters—characters he had never seen before. Sparx quietly hovered before them unsure of what to say. He felt like the stranger, but it didn’t seem as though Shantae knew them either. A familiar soldier entered the Save Point then. As he removed his helmet and broke the ice with his greeting, Sparx smiled brightly.

“Warrior, you made it!” he happily exclaimed. He didn’t know his name, but he was happy to see that there was another who had survived the ordeals in the underground. The dragonfly felt less intimidated by all the strangers and hovered a little higher in the air to get their attention. “All right; you guys are here to help? Bzz! Come upstairs with me. I have a room where we can safely talk.”

The insect melded into a glowing yellow line that left a trail up to the second floor. In the room with the Snorlax, a tall being wearing a black cloak walked over to sit at the table with a cup of hot tea. The being sat with its back facing the group and its hood drawn up.

Following behind the dragonfly was one red and yellow plant-like creature. One had a flower poking out of its vegetable-shaped head and the other a leaf. They raced up the stairs behind Sparx and followed him to the bedroom, opening it for the armless dragonfly. Sparx whirled around and nodded to the Pikmin bellhops. “Hey thanks!”

The Pikmin saluted him and traveled back downstairs. The hotel room, like majority of the inn, was covered in the same squishy pillow-like flooring. There were two twin beds, a round table with two chairs, and a TV stand with a flatscreen television on it. The dragonfly flew in an excitable circle and offered the group, “Come on in and have a seat bzz! There’s a lot to talk about. Get comfortable but try not to fall asleep!”

Once the group was settled and comfy, Sparx began the tale.

“For those who don’t know me, I am Sparx the Dragonfly. In my world, every young dragon has a dragon fly. We protect them, otherwise, without us, they could get seriously hurt or worse, killed bzz! Somewhere in the Dragon Realm, Spyro is locked away inside a cage and he’s very weak! I can see him in my head, but I am unable to find him from this dimension. But any who, that big green meanie some of you saw was Gnasty Gnorc. He is from the Dragon Realm and is one of our enemies. Did you beat him?”

Sparx waited for an answer before he continued, “I am not sure if Gnasty was only after me. The Egg Thief seemed like he wanted to steal the winning items too.”

He looked to James and bowed. “Thank you again for saving me. I don’t know what they would have done with me and that Moneybags nrrgh! He just makes me mad! I can’t believe he tried to sell me off. But again, I’m getting carried away. Before all of this happened, I was with Spyro in Dragon Shores—there are many smaller realms inhabiting the Dragon Realms by the way. We were catching some sun when we were attacked by a group of Big Gnorcs. They underestimated us—as always—and we kicked their butts but that was when someone unusual appeared. I don’t think I had ever seen the person in the Dragon Realms. He was wearing a black cloak with a hood and he had Ripto, Crush, and Gulp with him!”

Sparx shook back and forth in the air. “Let’s just say they’re bad dragons—well, Ripto is a dinosaur. But he wishes he was a dragon. Normally his magic isn’t so strong but this time, things were different. He nearly killed me with one spell! Spyro saved me and ran away from Ripto and the mysterious guy. We tried to fly through the dimension portal but the cloaked guy followed us through. He cast a spell that bound Spyro, and I was lost between dimensions. I guess that’s how I wound up here. I was alone and I didn’t know what was going on. I ran into Moneybags because he was the only one that I knew from my universe. Never would I have guessed he would sell me to the bad guys. I knew that bear was greedy but not that greedy bzz!”
@Mega Birblol The dick. He's accepted. You can move him over. I see him butting heads (and probably literally) with Gluttony a lot lol.

Character: Evelyn Caroline
Location: The Unnamed Swamp
Tagging: The First Sin - Sloth @AllHollowsEve
Summary: A group of five holy knights and their leader have cornered the princess in the swamp. Rather than ask them to save her from quicksand, she contemplates death.

Evelyn was panting laboriously as she ran through dark sticky mud that swallowed her feet in a thick and slimy sludge. The mud clung to her skin, weighing down her feet and making her escape ever strenuous. Her legs burned and her heart and lungs felt on fire. This had been the most exercise she had ever gotten in her life and she was wishing that had not been the case. Her mother and the maids would have not liked her to have bulging thighs or calves. To them, such legs were unattractive and her potential suitors would consider it manly. No; thin and delicate like a flower was beautiful. She had to fit in all of her gowns and corsets. The flower was wilting fast. She had long had to ditch her gown and trudge through the bog in but muddy pantaloons and a once-white slip. She was covered in mud. It was all over her face and in her hair from the countless of times she slipped and fell.

Princess!

She gasped and glanced back over her shoulder, her gray eyes wide with terror and pink lips parted in her struggle to breathe. The Holy Knights were close. Her knees near buckled weakly beneath her and she thrust out her arms to steady herself. She pressed on, gray eyes darting frantically in panic as she searched for a way out. She needed an escape. It came sooner than she expected. Her next step caused the mud to soar up to her shoulders. Evelyn uttered a short startled scream in fright. She could barely touch the bottom if there was one.

A white mare stopped behind her. Soldiers in silver armor quickly started to dismount, but they did not dare step close to her. The princess looked neck-deep in quicksand and they didn’t wish to jeopardize themselves trying to go after her or frighten her into a panic for fear she would sink. That would not have been good news to take back to Hector.

The red-haired lieutenant held out his hand to her as he instructed, “Princess, we’re not trying to hurt you. We want to take you back to the castle. Please, let me help you. If you don’t let me help you, then you’ll drown.”

Evelyn was frozen. Her heart was hammering against her chest. The water and foul-smelling gunk had soaked into her clothing. The Holy Knight had looked so nice and kind, and in that moment, she almost wanted to abandon her quest and forget about having ever wanted to find the Seven. Her journey was going to kill her. Look at you! her negative conscience exclaimed. You weak little thing. You’re going to die! The princess’s face scrunched up as tears began spilling down her cheeks.

“Princess please!” the lieutenant begged.

He then saw it. Defiantly, the princess shook her head as she bit her lips to keep from whimpering. The kindness in the lieutenant’s eyes went out like the flame of a candle. The green eyes that settled on her then were no longer friendly. They became cold and uncaring. His soldiers carried a long branch over to him and the lieutenant held his hand up in stop.

“No,” he said plainly. “We will leave her where she is…”

Evelyn’s eyes widened in shock at his words. He was going to leave her? The lieutenant walked back over to his horse and climbed back up into his seat. He sat there, gazing down at her and told her, “When the mud rises to your ears, we will see if you still refuse to be saved.”

The soldiers dropped the branch and watched the princess as the bog sluggishly crawled up her neck. She could feel herself sinking—painfully slow. Quicksand; what a cruel way to die. Quicksand took its time and gave her time to think about how trapped she was. The worst part was she didn’t know if she could force herself to entertain the lieutenant’s offer. She wasn’t going back. She…would she rather die? Here in the bog? Her thoughts frightened her as she began crying. She cried until the mud rose to her lips and she closed her mouth and clenched her eyes tight in her desperation to not swallow any of the putrid water.

The soldiers became uncomfortable. She was going to die! They looked to their superior. “Sir!”

“Just wait!” the lieutenant ordered irritably. “She will give in!”

GM Direction: This is Sloth's debut. You can either control all five soldiers or ask me to. The lieutenant is the only Holy Knight with an arc. You can make the weapon's power whatever you wish or if you have decided for the GM to play him, then you will see what his arc ability is eventually.
@AllHollowsEveI'm going to start with Evelyn running into Sloth since your character was in a place that I would find transitioning to. It would be easier to transition from such a place.

Here is the OOC

Go ahead and move your approved sheets to the character thread. I'm going to be deciding who Evelyn meets first and then writing a post for her. There's a discord link that I've PMed to you guys. I recommend using it for easy communication and entertainment when waiting for posts.

Grimjet has crimson hair and not the usual orange-ginger kind though he still gets called a "ginger" at times. His eyes are as blue as the sea and are his most eye-catching quality. Behind his lips are disturbing, shark-like teeth. They are triangular and seem to follow the shark's curse of his brand. The pirate king once wore a leather coat with white downy fur lining the collar. Belts crisscrossed his hips, and dark trousers rode down his legs into boots. He often wore a mask to hide his identity not wanting to let his rivals know who they were messing with on the sea. His second eye-catching quality is his body—when he isn’t porking out on food and grog. Grimjet can get pretty huge depending on the size of feast he’s partaking in, which disturbs or fascinates others. He carries with him an Arc that he calls simply, "His Knife." Others call it, "The Butcher’s Knife." It is a suitable weapon for a man with such an insatiable appetite. His body is covered in various scars from his numerous battles on the sea. Who knew Holy Knights could swim? (duh dum tish!)

B R A N D A P P E A R A N C E
Grimjet’s brand is on his abdomen just below his navel in the form of a shark circled by an ouroboros. The shark represents his ravenous appetite and the serpent that surrounds it, how endless it is.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
Grimjet has many pleasures and he enjoys them all in abundance. He loves good food, good grog, and gorgeous women, and he’s rather shameless in his indulgences. Becoming a pirate was only fitting for him. Grimjet is pretty cocky to the point that he thinks everything is a game. In battle, he tends to be the benefactor, slowly devouring his enemies and their powers until there is nothing left. His capacity for devouring abilities seems nearly endless, but food and drink...well, his body has a limited capacity that he likes to exceed every once and in a while. He claims his actual curse is having such a large appetite and not having a body large enough to compensate for it. He also claims that his gluttony is his strength, which is true, but doesn’t make him number one on the guest list at banquets.

The Sin is rather mischievous and is quite the party-goer. Wherever there’s food or drink, he’ll be there—especially if it’s free. His appetite makes him terrible with money, but that’s why he was a pirate because whenever he ran out, he’d just acquire more loot to spend! Mind you, this was all before the banishing.

To be revealed when he acquires his lost memory.

C U R R E N T S T O R Y
After Grimjet was banished across the globe by the White God’s power, he landed in the sea and drifted, unconscious for several days before his body washed up on the shore of Fairy Island. The fairies didn’t take too kindly to foreigners and imprisoned him. Having attempted to execute him in countless ways, they eventually discovered his uncanny ability and learned that leaving him alone was the best execution. Starved and unable to satiate his hunger and thirst, Grimjet succumbed to his own appetite. He supposedly died and was found limbless, having eaten his own arms and legs, which made it impossible for him to escape his confinement. His husk remains on Fairy Island, posted as a warning to all visitors to turn back or they’ll end up the same way.

W E A P O N
The Butcher's Knife is a massive cleaver that is four-feet long and one foot thick. There are three holes near the end of the blade for draining, and draining is what the Arc weapon specializes in. Each cut on an enemy draws life from his foe and gives it to its wielder. While his enemies grow weaker, Grimjet grows stronger, feasting on their vitality. [Reference]

A B I L I T Y
Devour is Grimjet’s trademark skill. He can eat practically anything like a walking black hole, and he will proudly proclaim that there’s nothing out there that he can’t eat. Using devour, Grimjet can consume enemies, their weapons, and their abilities as nourishment for his body, making him stronger. The size of the enemy doesn’t matter and neither does the amount. There’s only one catch. No enemy will allow themselves to be devoured so easily, which is why it can require tact at times. Using his meat cleaver, the vitae that is hacked from his enemies is devoured until his enemies are too weak to run away. When an enemy is placed into such a vulnerable position, then Grimjet takes advantage of the opportunity. Whatever ability he devours does not become his. This isn't a copy cat move. It just makes him physically stronger and even more eager to be satisfied.

Name: Princess Evelyn "Eve" Caroline
Age: 20
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 120 lbs.
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Gray
Gender: Female

Written Appearance: As a princess, Evelyn always wore dresses. Gowns, corsets, and more gowns. She was never allowed to show any skin below her shoulders. Such a life was normal for her and she didn't think much of it. It wasn't until she was chased from her kingdom that she found herself having to wear other garments. She had to dress herself in whatever she could find, giving up her puffy and decorative dress. She travels in the clothes of a pauper. Itchy sack cloth shirt and pants and deer skin shoes. Her milk-white skin is smudged in dirt and her once wavy and shiny brown hair is tied behind her back with an old shoe lace. She still holds onto her family's signet ring, wearing it on a leather thread about her neck so that it's hidden beneath her shirt. There was a reason why the Carolines hid their daughter behind layers of clothes. She is beautiful and had many suitors wishing to take her hand...not anymore.

Personality: It is Eve's first time outside the castle and she is very naive to being swindled by the clever tricksters of the streets. She speaks very formally, which is usually a sign of a noble upbringing. She is respectful and timid of the strangers who were either formally her subjects or from another kingdom entirely. Eve knows how delicate she is, but she is determined to save her parents from the Church of the White. She doesn't know if she will even succeed in finding the Seven Sins. She doesn't even know if she will survive the journey. All Eve knows is that she has to try!

Background: Princess Evelyn Caroline is the daughter of King Patreus and Queen Melody. She is their only child and has been safely guarded from the world until now. Everything began when a Great Holy Knight by the name of Hector Mineaus came to her kingdom to assist them in dealing with a barbaric clan of giants. The clan's leader was named Barakas and he was known to feed the humans to his giant hounds. With the king's permission, Hector was allowed to lead his army against the clan. He succeeded in slaying Barakas, and the Carolines honored him with a celebration. It was at the celebration that Hector approached Evelyn and secretly tried to woo her. Evelyn shyly rejected the knight's attempts to his silent anger. The day after the party was when the Church of the White was suddenly upon the capitol. There was talk of a resistance against the Carolines. The story was that because the Carolines had requested aid from the church to handle the giants rather than send their own army that the people were in outrage. The Carolines weren't even given a chance to have an audience with their kingdom before they were moved into a sanctuary that seemed more like a heavily-guarded prison.

Before the Holy Knights could detain Evelyn, the king ordered her protector to take her out of the castle. The protector against the Holy Knights orders did as his king commanded and fled the castle with Evelyn. He rode as far as he could with the knights on his tail. When he feared his horse would tire before they would lose them, Eve's protector stayed behind to fight the Holy Knights so that she could escape. Eve, afraid to be alone in this foreign world, reluctantly rode off leaving her protector behind and the last relation she had to her family.

Current Story: Her horse long gone and her dress long ruined, Eve was forced to travel Gaea alone. She is learning to endure the hardship of survival and no longer having servants to rely on. There have been those kind to her, but there were more who were cruel, forcing her to be wary of strangers. Having discovered the wanted posters for the Seven Deadly Sins, she remembered tales of their power and decided to find them. They just might be strong enough to take her kingdom back from the church and free her parents.
