Grunthor took note of the wounds on the spider. Scabbed over, healing, it'd have to molt before it was actually healed. Not that the pair of rambunctious orclings would let it get to that stage. Hopefully anyway. His blow took out a leg, the Unnamed took out one, and the third leg was from a previous fight. So five legs left, its mobility should be pretty hampered by now.

The giant spider struck back, the feet had little claws for 'toes', which punctured his skin but it was just aiming to push him away. A second blow busted another bone spike on his club and took a chunk out of the wood. For a non-tarantual type it was pretty strong. Unnamed shot another blast of magic at the spider and got another hit which made the spider turn as if to flee. But instead it began to spit webbing from its abdomen.

Grunthor launched his club with a spin at the webbing blanket to catch it and send it back to the spider or to just made a big mess of the webbing. If that worked he'd get to his feet and attack it with his pointed stick, trying to bludgeon its legs with Rapid Strikes using the more slender piece of wood that they all started with.

Whenever they went over a rut or pothole he tensed his legs and core. Preventing himself from being thrown around and potentially bludgeoning the other passengers with his bulky body. His eyes narrowed, flashing dangerously whenever Bert decided to scowl at him. The big reptilian mans arm looked as thick as Bert's leg, the dragonborn barbarian was not one to be fucked with by common human muscle.

Soon the carriage ride came to an end and they all piled out of the rickety thing. Kharne stepped down into the mud and shifted away from the group before stretching himself out. His joints crackled and snapped loudly as he twisted and moved. "Going by foot is fine, a little exercise never hurt anyone." He rumbled to the old man. A haunted village? Well his language could potentially banish spirits. Hell, could spirits even do anything beyond attempting to scare you?

After getting his kinks worked out he looked around slowly. Looking at the chimneys of the buildings that made up the village. It was clammy, cool because of the fog and humidity. But he didn't really smell any smoke nearby. Instead his nostrils flared, hunting for any odd scents that might be in the air. Blood was familiar, the smell of fog and bog, mud, water, old rotting wood. He bled those smells out, his nose up in the air a bit for anything on an errant breeze.

While using his snoz he was listening to the others. Some wanting an inn, some wanting to look for potential survivors, Bert and Chance seemed ready to get going deeper into the territory. Well, Bert did, Chance was going to get dragged along.

@Vlad Tepes I'll see what I can do later on today. She's got a lot more pep in her njow thankfully, seems the meds are working. It's another overnight shift, zombie dog to halfway normal (She's wagging her tail now and eating food again). Still a couple more days of meds and hopefully she'll be all better.

Yeah, sorry for the length of time. I was extremely busy with my dog. She was sick enough I considered putting her down if the medicine didn't fix her.

Outta the blue, literally overnight, zombie mode. Slow walk, no appetite at all, struggled to poop. That started last monday and the worrying grew as it went on. She only just today started to eat on her own (I had to use a turkey baster to force feed her probiotic food and her pills)
