Luke was processing his mortality in the shower for a few moments before he rejoined the rest of the group in dry clothing. His hair was still a little damp. Tessa shoved a cup of coffee into his hand, which he was honestly grateful for. He noticed that not everyone was in the Galley. Specifically the kid and Manny. Raynor looked irritated, which wasn't that different from what he had seen the guy look like so far. Tessa had given him a cup of coffee too, Luke could guess that she had spiked it for him. There was a palpable tension in the room.

Luke had walked in as Kyle was talking. "Well, I can't say I saw any of Them. But it was a bright light. Sort of the classic alien abduction. I don't remember talking with government spooks before. After the flash of light, it is blank up until we woke up here. So either those memories are gone, or I have none. As for the date, it was March fifteenth, 2021."

"I don't remember." Gordon said, he was frowning. "I only feel like I remember big things, not everything. There are some gaps"

Tessa seemed to suddenly have her memories return. She almost dropped the carafe of coffee, as she was heading out the door back to the Atrium to see if Manny, Noah, or even Zarina wanted some. She leaned against the wall for a moment collecting herself. Tears falling down her face and she turned to face Vinnie, "I know how we know each other. We were roommates in college for a year. I took photography and videography with you. You work for Buzzfeed, that's why you know such weird things. You do videos on it. Even after we went our separate ways I watched your videos. I have a girlfriend, Mia." Luke raised an eyebrow, he wasn't totally surprised that Tessa was at least a little gay, but he was surprised at how she rambled at Vinnie and then just added, almost nonchalantly, that she had a girlfriend. "The trees are the same ones as back home, redwood. That's why I felt connected to them. But yeah, the same thing. I was hiking. It was March fifteenth, early in the morning. I'm here, but she isn't. She was with me." Tessa added, almost as an afterthought, and then headed down the hall.

"What is the plan from here?" Luke asked those left in the Galley.

"Well Cal isn't totally wrong. Space goes by maritime law. At least according to the movie 'The Martian'." Kyle said. "I certainly don't think I have jurisdiction here. However, we have to acknowledge that Zarina remembered enough about Cal to know why she hadn't trusted her, and it is a valid reason. I think we should respect Zarina's desires and keep Cal and her apart. But even still I don't think it is fair to lock Cal up. I do believe people can change and reform." His voice was heavy and his expression was nearly unreadable but then Kyle winced and looked to Cal. "Sorry if it feels like I'm ignoring your existence in the room. I'm not. It is however obvious that both Vinnie and Zarina are not comfortable working with you, Cal. So I suggest those of us who are comfortable working with Cal stay here in the Galley and attempt to find a way out of here. Those of us who aren't comfortable with her can go back to the Atrium and try to see what we can learn there." Kyle didn't particularly look pleased. Luke didn't know what was bothering the cop. If Luke didn't know that Kyle had already gotten all his memories back he would think the guy was starting to remember something.

Atrium

Zarina could feel the water around her pull at the rope until it was loose. Manny thought she was coming back through the pipe toward him. Had she reached the end of what she could find?

Noah also had most of his memories returned. His heart broke. His older brother was dead, murdered, and the culprit had never been found. Noah had just tried to get on with his life and had gotten into science to explain the universe. That was why his head was filled with numbers, it put everything in its place. He didn't notice Tessa until she handed him a cup of coffee.

"Thank you." He said and saw that her face was still a little damp. "It was a cruel thing that They did taking our memories. Allowing us a brief respite from our demons and then it all coming back in one blow." He shook his head. "Now I know the faces and names of all I left behind and those who had left before."

Dalisy sighed, well so much for the time to take a shower or anything. She'd never get a good seat if she spent the time changing even. Dalisy stood up and joined the chaotic fray of people shoving for a spot on the elevator. Whoever thought a single elevator for all of Valhalla was a good idea needed to be flayed.

Making her to the elevator and onto it was a surprisingly easy feat. Finally, she had a way to burn off some of the growing stress. She pushed her way and even took someone's legs out from underneath him, but she got a spot. That didn't always happen, each day seemed a toss of the dice. Now she just had to keep the spot. She made sure she wasn't the closest to the door before it opened again. That could at least keep her on it long enough to get close to the Hall.

Ed nodded that made sense. Of course, as they discussed how much chaos could happen in the Mansion Bethany walked over and informed them of the next round of chaos. Ed looked at the letter. At least for him, he was fine with the pairing. Annie was one of his more favorite people in the Mansion. She had picked up that he liked crows and had a few times let him know when they were active on the property. He gave Mira a look of sympathy as she ranted about being paired with Iris. He considered offering to exchange partners but what he knew enough about Loki to know that would be a really bad idea.

"Well. I suppose lead the way." Ed said to Bethany. He took a drag of his cigarette, careful to exhale away from either Bethany or Mira. Then put it out, it wasn't finished so he put what was left of it back in the pack. Ed put the whole pack in his pocket. "While this will be a more extreme version of any board game I played with my family I can say I'm okay at them." He tried to give off an air of confidence, which was oddly more possible around people as young as these. Gods he felt old, and he was only thirty. An old song line crossed his mind and he smiled at the memory.

Niah Bautista

Location: Junk Yard - Fargo, North Dakota
Skills: Knot checking, Armor control???

Niah laughed at Nancy's antics. She knew Nancy wasn't humble, but her actions were just so over the top it could only be funny. Niah nodded and followed behind Nancy triple checking the knots. She felt like they were as sturdy as they were going to get them. "Okay, get in." She said and climbed into the boat herself. Niah sat down in the raft. Her heart was thumping.

Once Nancy and Mads had both climbed into the boat and comfortable Niah took a deep breath. She focused on the armor and getting lift, for a moment it was wobbly. Niah winced. She slowed her breathing down a bit more and relaxed emptying her mind. The raft stabilized. "Okay, where to? Straight to Mount Rushmore? Or land on a Macdonalds or something?" She asked as the after lifted more into the air. "Also Mads, up to you to keep us unseen from mortal eyes."

"All I can do is shock things. You can turn into animals and people that's super cool!" Andy told her brother. Then he was shocked by one of the Venti. Andy had been surprised she could hurt the Venti because they were made of storm and lightning and her power was just the lightning. "Hey! That's my brother you're hurting." She yelled at the spirit. "Stop it!" She stamped her foot down on the ground. Angry at the creatures for hurting her brother and friends.

Andy reached out and pulled as if a rope was in front of her. When she did some of the lightning that was inside the Venti that had hurt her brother came out of it. Her eyes went wide startled. She hadn't expected it to work. Quickly she changed the direction of the lightning so it hit another Venti. Neither fell, but she could tell she had done a lot of damage to the second one. Andy was stunned by how well it had worked. That wasn't something that she could do for another creature necessarily, but it worked really well for the storm spirits.

Emily considered making a joke about Marco being a lover, not a fighter, but she held her tongue as the Preator's explained what was happening. She did agree with Marco she had no idea if her power of madness would work against a Titan. "Honestly, from what I know about Atlas it might be better to cure him than curse him if my power could even work on a Titan." She shrugged slightly.

"I feel like my power would work on him." Niah said after tilting her head to think a moment. "My mother's works on all the gods so why not a Titan. Though the gods are more likely to survive I swear on pain of death than mortals." She shrugged. Her mother wasn't even completely a Roman god. It was complicated. Lupa had accepted her though so her ability should work.

"So when should we leave? Think we can get it done before the Greeks get here? Or wait till they get here and organize then?" Emily asked. She was excited about meeting the Greek kids. Sure, there were always tensions between the two groups but they had to be an interesting bunch. They were similar to the Romans. And Emily liked focusing on similarities to make her friends.

"Personally I think we should go immediately. If we are quick about it we can probably get there and back before the Greeks land. They estimated three days, and Mount Tam isn't too far." Niah said, giving her opinion. She sat back in her chair and sipped at her drink. "We have less we have to do here now that the war isn't coming to our temple." She still wished it was because at least they'd be on their home turf, and wouldn't have to literally go into the Pit.

Niah didn't blame Baptiste, heck she wished she could do the same thing, but the path she was choosing was a more subtle one. She followed after Bonnie into the hallway with the others. She wondered if she should say it now, or wait till she thought they were in a place without cameras that SHIELD controlled, at least on the Quinjet, though Niah knew that wasn't totally safe. Niah was considering treason and she wasn't even an American Citizen.

As she moved past Flynn she wanted to say something to let him know that she was, shockingly, on his side. That she agreed with him. That he would understand, but no one else would. He was the only person left on the team who remembered the Age of Ultron, everyone else had been replaced by a Skrull. That was an uncomfortable thought. Raynor and Carter had both been with her, but they were gone. Missing or worse.

"Flynn," She paused she had no idea what she could say to him. Her voice was soft. There was only one thing she could think she could say to him that he might be able to guess what she meant but no one else would catch. "I'm going to use the bathroom." It was what she had said before leaving him and the others behind to talk to Pym. She hoped that Flynn would remember that, that he would remember it had been her way of splitting from the group to get things done. To save the world. Niah glanced at Maria who was standing near Flynn, but she shouldn't get it. It should be nonsensical to anyone else, more importantly to SHEILD.

Niah didn't give him a chance to respond, she kept moving toward the hanger. It had to be a passing comment. It couldn't lead to conversation. Flynn had to figure out what she meant, if he did that was good, if not well maybe they'd laugh about how stupid it had been later.

Location: Triskelion - Conference Room -> Hallway -> Hanger

"Cass can fly the quinjet to DC at least. We can worry about a pilot later." He looked to Sparky, "Or we can find our original." He hadn't quite cared for Raynor, the guy was more unapproachable than Flynn. However, he didn't understand why SHIELD hadn't let them start looking. There had to be some leads. It sort of reminded him how SHIELD had written off Sparky and Ryanor when they ended up in the quantum realm. He hadn't been there for that, but he had learned about it.

Matt continued on to the Hanger. He didn't hear Niah say she was going to use the bathroom. Matt was thinking of tactics and how they could hope to have a chance against Captain America. If he could get close enough to touch his skin then maybe they'd be able to bring in a paralyzed Captain America. A shot from one of the ICERs might slow Rogers down enough for Matt to get into range.

A lot was happening. A girl jumped from the flying car. There were a lot of people in the air and Andy couldn't help or hurt any of them. That was all the action that was happening too, it was all up in the air. That was until Sentinels appeared.

With the appearance of the Sentinels, Andy decided it was time to get the heck out of there. She was technically not going out the back of the Starbucks, which is what the barista had told her would lead to certain death. She wasn't even convinced that the lady who she had been told to go with was going to survive.

The Sentinels, if they caught Andy, would take her to a few possible places, and none of them were places she wanted to go. Best case she'd end up back in the system and off to yet another foster home. Worst case she'd be in Super-Max. Neither option was something she wanted. She hated, and honestly feared, being put into another foster home more than anything else.

As cool as it was that the girl with the green hair had apparently taken control over the Sentinels and it was funny to watch one of them dance, Andy didn't dare risk sticking around. She sipped her coffee trying to look like a confused patron of Starbucks that just got caught up in the chaos and started walking around the edge of the chaos to an alley she saw. It looked safe, and that was good enough for her. She had gotten too involved in a bunch of strangers business. The offer of a warm bed wasn't enough to keep her around.

Rose Buckner

Location: The trails -> The warehouse
Skills:

Rose grinned at Layla. She didn't say anything else to Layla. Rose was fine with poly relationships, but she wouldn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. And it seemed they actually were siblings in Arcadia too so that was understandable to want to avoid. Rose had liked Cassie much longer than she had known Lyla. She wondered briefly if she had been drawn to her friends Sierra and Cassie because they had been from the same world as her even though she didn't know that.

As soon as the portal was opened Rose went through it right behind Layla. She had no desire to be stuck on the side with Maleficent. Rose was quite done with Maleficent. What she needed was a weapon of some sort. Rose looked around. She saw a bow and a few arrows. That was good enough for her. She grabbed them and notched an arrow. She didn't draw it or even lift it so it was pointing at people coming through the total, but she stood at the ready in case Maleficent somehow got through or her daughter.

Colby Jackson

Location: Trailhead -> The warehouse

He did raise his eyebrow when Matthew was caught stealing knives from Layla. But thankfully Layla didn't seem to actually mind, and Matthew hit Maleficent. Colby was proud that he had hit Maleficent and he was impressed with the one woman on their side who went out and distracted Maleficent. They weren't doing much damage, but at least Maleficent was overwhelmed.

Colby grabbed Matthew's hand and dragged him through the portal. He glanced at the new girl who had been running from Maleficent, she was armed now and looked ready to shoot anyone who displeased her. Colby made sure to give her a wide berth and found a spot away from the portal. He picked up a sword on his way past the box. Colby didn't care he didn't have any skill in it, he was going to protect Matthew.

"Only because I would hold back in deference to your advanced age." Dalisy said to Arnora before they went their separate ways. Arnora was the first one off the elevator, which had left Dalisy alone with Lara. That only made Dalisy more irritated. Gods she had been having so much fun in the rapids and then Lara had to show up. It was like the world was conniving to make sure she had a bad day.

Normally Dalisy might have joined one of the chaotic card games or just joined the fight for fun, but what she wanted was to make sure her sister was okay. Lara was just so much like Niah that it was a constant reminder that Niah was mortal. She might be a demi-god, but she was still mortal. Once in her room, Dalisy reached out with her senses, found her sister, and watched. Niah was alive and well. Dalisy couldn't pick up on anything going on around her, but she knew that Niah was okay.

Dalisy flopped down on a chair and sighed. She'd get changed in a moment, but the desire to punch a wall, or someone's face, had been reduced at least.

Edus had heard of Wakanda. He knew it was a third-world country. He also knew there were rumors about it having some advanced technology. Ed wasn't sure how much he believed that, but he wasn't about to ask Mira if it were true. That seemed rude, and Ed did his best not to be rude. "I did know about his hearing aid, but I had never asked if it was genetic or an accident. That is unfortunate." Ed thought back to his childhood and learning how to deal with his power.

"One of the spells I know can hurt people. When we were kids, the cousins would all play fight with the force spell. I once broke my cousin's leg. We never got along after that." How unfortunate that Lucas was one of the few survivors of the attack on Cardiff, he thought. "I don't' entirely blame him for not forgiving me since even with my sister trying to heal it, he has had a pronounced limp since then." He winced at the memory, at the image of his sister, and took a long drag from his cigarette. It was time to change the subject or move on. This was getting too personal.

"I think training and education about powers are important. Learning how to control what some people are capable of is hard, but for the world to become safe, it is an important aspect of what needs to be done. I am impressed by what Xavier has accomplished here"
