Current @ColdAtlas PM me the headphone model? I doubt it’s a proprietary cable solution, so you can probably replace it for cheap.

When did I say that? =P

Yeah, we should. I’ll need to jump through some hoops to defeat bypasses, but that sort of thing is doable.

<Snipped quote by LegendBegins> Hold the phone! People try to abuse systems? No way! Actually, I thought that's what moderators were for. And ban lists. And rules like "be Fonz cool." Don't overthink it.
Sarcasm noted. However, the point is that it's much easier to maintain a whitelist than it is a blacklist.

<Snipped quote by TheMaster99> I honestly don't think it would require as much work as you think. A report system could be useful here (any word on that, @Mahz?), but simply have a list of banned terms (which would probably include sexually explicit content and whatever stupid things get reported) that cannot be made into tags. Filtering would work best with that auto-complete system that Mahz devised for Co-GM names, apply that same technology to tags and it would be possible to facilitate tag discovery without having to list out all tags, or do those silly tag maps or other awful things. Some popular tags could also be suggested, based on searches or newly-created RPs. These are all suggestions, however, but I think a custom-tag system is not too prohibitive.
However, many will abuse the system and simply begin to change the spelling, or otherwise modify banned words in order to bypass the filter. People tend to be very creative when doing things they are not allowed to do.
Do you think it will ever be possible for GMs to voluntarily delete/close threads? @Captain Jordan I agree. It is simply impossible to cover every genre, sub-genre, and idea out there. If Mahz trusts us to to report abusive and explicit PMs and posts, why couldn't we report abusive and explicit tags?
I actually think it'd be a horrific experience if a GM could control the existence of a thread. The second a rogue GM arises, then all members involved in the Roleplay would be scattered, and the RP potentially killed, just because a GM decided that he was angry with the members.

<Snipped quote by LegendBegins> The avatar system (via ImageMagick) only works on images. Is that what you mean? <Snipped quote by Genkai> Yeah, I had the same idea. I'll add a @Mention button for when all you want to do is @Mention someone. I'll change the text of the "Reply" button to "Quote". It'll also be much better when typing [@ (the start of a @Mention) pops up the auto-suggestion box. Though if it's too hacky to get that to work, I may just add a small input box to the editor that auto-suggests usernames and then lets you click some "Insert @Mention" button to place it into the post you're writing. Note to self: Currently @Mention and @QuoteMention notifications are only registered/sent upon post creation, not when editing a post. https://github.com/danneu/guild/issues/40
That is a part of it. Does the Guild prevent image-code injection, SQL Injection, flood protection, etc?

Speaking of uploading images (this does relate, even if it may not appear to), how constructed are the Guild's security features?

When are you going to add the ability to scroll down on our sigs.
That isn't currently on the agenda. The pixel limit was introduced in order to prevent signatures from becoming too large.

What's the avatar limits?
Theoretically, they're any size. The server will resize your images for you.

<Snipped quote by LegendBegins> When building my computer, I sourced my parts from a place which I could drive to and arranged to pick them up in person. Saves on postage costs and on stress waiting for postage. That's something possibly worth looking in to in future. Back on topic, I don't have a whole host of tags, but I have figured out one to suggest.
  • Villain (players can play as the 'bad guys' rather than the 'heroes')
I would agree. However, I needed a specific model that I can only order from the manufacturer directly.
<Snipped quote by BBeast> Legend may simply live in a place beyond the reach of proper electronics stores. I was at school when I built mine, and the nearest decent parts store was 3 hours away.
Yes, it would take quite a few hours of driving to buy the equivalent.

Anime G PG R M Mature Novel Television Multiverse IRL Oh, and regards to coding, my last part that was shilled to me (required for my computer to function) was broken. So I'll try to load the system into my older device, which may or may not be able to handle it, while I wait for the new shipment.

<Snipped quote by LegendBegins> Yeah, haven't touched BBCode since the first release. Need to. Also wanna remove underlines from the h1/h2/h3 tags or allow an option like [h1=underline]...[/h1] or make [u][h1]...[/h1][/u] look good.
Yeah, I agree. Though, I can sympathize with you in the fact that working with text, which isn't really much of a "feature," gets dull quickly. Burnout are easy in that case.

Would it be difficult to reintroduce editable font sizes?
