For reference, if anyone comes across this: Velvet isn't struggling much, she's still too weak. She's mostly just sitting there as Iris mauls her entire body, hoping that it'll be over quick so she can go upstairs, fill up AGAIN now that she's had the hard-won blood bled out again, and go to sleep.
In fact, I'd rather Max intervene now, I feel like I'm starting to monopolize and I'd rather respond to his intervention after it happens.
