As a side note, isn't it irritating when someone posts in reply to the same thing you do just a few seconds before you, so you end up responding differently to the same event?
Seeing a motion outside, Sakaki turned towards the window and witnessed a boy beat on what looked to be a first year girl. Sighing tiredly, she stood up and dashed out of the room, whipping through the hallways and bursting through the door in time to see the boy walking off. "Not even going in the building, are you...?" She mused. Instantly slowing down to a quick but quiet walk, she snuck up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder, speaking softly in a monotonic voice.

"Why did you attack that girl?"

Unseen under her uniform, she tensed her muscles and prepared to move aside in case a punch or kick came her way.

"I would very much think over your response if you wish to escape from this uninjured."

At first I thought that would be problematic, but when you think about, most of the time isn't gonna be during class. It could be during lunch, after school, before school, and on days off. So yeah, you can visit other classes so it's fine. :)

Ah, fair point.
Sakaki sat quietly on a desk in the corner of her empty homeroom, furtively sketching with a mechanical pencil on a piece of notepaper, deep in thought. She cocked her head to the side upon hearing a faint sound, then shrugged and went back to her drawing...

...for about five seconds, at which point the door slid open and a group of 3rd years threw open the door and barged in. She quickly tossed the sheet of paper into her bag, the slightest hint of a minute trace of pink appearing on her face as she yanked out a novel and set about reading.

"Too noisy..." She murmured.
Just noticed that all but three people are 2nd year...I feel like the two third-years and the one first year are gonna have a tough time.
For the school's name, how 'bout Kamikara High School? (神から) It means "From God".

Also, I vote city! And yeah, the opening ceremony seems somewhat unnecessary.
Name: Sakaki Kimura
Age:17
Grade: Third year
Appearance (Preferably a picture):
There is always some kind of scratch, cut or contusion on her face, and usually more than one.
Bio (Optional): Sakaki is one of those people. She has pretty much no friends and spends all of her time reading. (Or drawing manga, which is kind of embarrassing for her; she keeps it a secret) She's antisocial in general, and doesn't feel the need to talk unless it's necessary.
Sakaki grew up in the big city, living in an apartment on a building's 14th floor. Strangely, back then, she was just like any other happy young girl, not the seemingly-emotionless person she is today. What could've caused this change? When she was only eight, her father was hit by a car and died from internal bleeding some hours later. She was there in his hospital room when it happened. After that, she was never the same. Her father was very kind to her, but she had a mother that was not so kind, and with the absence of her father's restraint, her mother went full-out abusive. That is what she comes home with every day.

Alan was freaking out. The old government had lied? While Alan readily believed this, he wasn't so quick as to trust this new one. If the old government had lied to us, who's to say the new government won't? They already had, and they'll probably lie again. They were also so very tall, these strange new creatures. All tall people did was squash the small ones underfoot! They're also all birds, he bet, waiting to swoop in and eat us! And after that they'll-Alan snapped out of it and took a deep breath. He was letting his bug side take over, his mandibles straining against his bandana, looking for freedom from his humanity. He retracted them, took another deep breath, but, that failing, could take it no more. He jumped out of his seat and ran for the cafè, anything but this crowd and the strange tall creatures telling lies about lies.

Gavin's eyes darted to the side at the flash of motion, seeing a boy running to the cafe side. Running awkwardly, he amended in his mind. The boy's gait was strange and jerky, almost robotic. The bandana wrapped around his head flapped as he ran for the cafè. Interest piqued, and needing an escape from the crowd just as much as the boy apparently did, he dashed after him, trying to shove as few people as possible and for the most part, failing miserably. Angry looks and annoyed words filled his ears, and as he drew near his destination, he tripped over someone's foot and flew headfirst into some poor sap. Apologizing profusely, he came to his feet and ran off again. What's this kid's deal?
Gavin stared up at the ceiling, the thick crowd around him forgotten for the moment. Well then, everything I have ever known or thought about where and what I am is a lie. Interesting. He shrugged. It didn't change anything, really. So his ancestors had a massive war in the distant past. That's fine. The here and now was what mattered.

A gentle hissing whisper came from the side of the stage, and an alien creature that introduced itself as "Shigganeth" floated to the centre, speaking of it's District. "Pursuit of knowledge, hmm? Well, I guess I know where I won't be going..." Gavin muttered softly, still staring at the strange creature. When the crowd went dead silent, the illusion snapped around him and he realized exactly where he was. His heart began to pound and beaded on his brow. His bracelet began to writhe and twist around his arm like a living thing.
Name: Gavin
Last Name: MacFrewin
Nickname: Gav, Ferrous
Appearance: (Picture Please)
Also wears a plain bracelet made of tempered steel. You can't see it in the picture, but his eyes are slate-grey.
Age: 17
Mutated Power: By moving energy through his hands, he can reshape and reform any ferrous metal (iron or steel and alloys thereof) that he's touching by moving the atoms around. Of course, he can't create metal where none exists, nor dissolve it into air. He has yet to attain very fine control, but he can do fairly advanced work.
Personality: Gavin appears open and friendly, but much of it is a facade. It's not that he doesn't like people; he just doesn't feel the need to be near them. He much prefers being left alone to whatever work he's doing at the moment. If he's gotten into an unfortunate situation - being lost in a massive crowd, being betrayed by one he trusted - then he'll sort of knead the atoms in his bracelet, which helps him retain calmness.
District: (Where you'll be sent to, don't worry you can roam freely) Ignori District
Likes: Being around metals that he can manipulate, stone, shades of gray, kneading his bracelet with his mind (It calms him), being alone, not having to interact with any living thing
Dislikes: Aluminum, titanium and any other non-ferrous metals, being trapped in small and enclosed spaces and huge crowds, animals, bright colors (They tend to hurt his eyes)
Morals: Pretty much ambivalent to most things until somebody does something drastic to him, such as trapping him in a nonferrous cage, at which point he despises them to the utmost extent of his being and will travel wherever he needs to to have his revenge. On the other hand, if he becomes someone's friend, he will trust them implicitly.
