Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

Two entries and five days to the deadline.

Don't give up and keep an eye on your word count!
Andy walked to the gym and once they got there, he put a hand on Bear's head. "Come, impatient one, we'll go in." He opened the door and held it open so everyone could enter. Bear went first and Kim followed the Primeape inside. Andy gestured to Frosiien she could go in as well.

"I don't know how she feels about Deoxy-brothers," Michael admitted, "but I'm sure she'll be intrigued by them." He paused as he looked at Gavin. "Your question wasn't weird though; I've heard people, teens, talking to the friends of their crush about what their crush likes. People want to get the attention of the one they like and the best way of doing that is knowing what they like."

"It's true," Lytse chimed in. "Human courting seems rather complex, but maybe that is because humans have so many things that can interest them."

Mabel looked up when Li landed and she had a gentle smile for him. "Of course," Mabel replied. "The sun is free for everyone and there is plenty of room here." She looked at the large Pokémon. "And I always welcome company," she added.

Mindy gave Niccia a quick hug and then noticed the name of a shop that had a shop at other locations too. "Oh, we can buy some treats there," she said, pointing at the sign. "Let's check it out."
She went to the shop and looked through the window to see what they had in stock. Treats, vitamins, this kind of shop was often visited by contestants. "I bought some glitter in a shop like this once, for a contest. I didn't win, but it was fun."
Stuart closed his laptop and put it in a backpack. "This way then," he said as pulled one strap over a shoulder and led the way out of the library. "I just want to say, I dealt with a few cases of lycanthropy during my time working for this agency, and I've dealt with a fair number of demons, either investigating a transformation that had taken place, or sending them back to their realm." He chuckled. "I'm not a fighter. But your case, it's a first. I'll probably ask Mike to have a look at you tomorrow, if you consent of course, he has started his training to do the same job I'm doing."
Stuart didn't notice the rambling himself, he had a tendency to do that sometimes, especially when he was excited.

Mike watched Gaia unfold, like a bat. He still didn't feel entirely comforatable, but he reminded himself Gaia was a friend; she had saved his life when he had been on that mission with her and Gaia. She had kept him safe there, she wouldn't be a danger to him now.
"Just checking up on you," he said, "Harriet asked me to do so."

Meanwhile, mr Johnsson listened in on the conversation. Agents had reported she had returned to her room and the device they had put on her was able to pick up her words.
He held a microphone near his mouth. "We start in 3...2...1..." he pushed a button on the device.

"It's in the same hall, but we're a bit further apart now." Benjamin gently squeezed her hand. "But that's okay, it's just a few more steps."
He walked to Steph's old room. He hoped what had happened there wouldn't be repeated, but he had faith in their boss to make sure his agents would behave from now on.
Ever since writing a Harry Potter fanfic with a teacher OC I did want to do a Harry Potter RP again. So yeah, I'm interested.
"We really need the input of someone who knows about medication," Benjamin said. "To have this effect on people with multiple spirits... Unless it's not the effect the medicine has on the brain, but how it affects her perception of you and Ari... maybe she needs to know you and accept you in order for you to co-exist with her."
It was just guessing at this point; he didn't know much about how it all worked and it wasn't something to could ask the psychiatrist.

He looked at Ray, what could they do with her? Wait it out? Help her get back in her body? When would Ari get back. He closed his eyes and he rubbed his temples. That damned head-ache didn't help him either.

After Marc paid for everything he returned to the table and gave the book to Sara. "It's yours now," he said. "Shall we walk a bit through this part of the town before going to the restaurant? This part of the town has some of the oldest houses."
He almost asked if everything was okay, she seemed down, but he decided not to. Did she have mood swings? He realized he didn't know much about her diagnosis, but it didn't matter.
The first entry has been sent in!
Okay people, ten days left before the deadline. I'm looking forward to see what you all wrote!

Try not to submit at the last moment, if the timestamp of your PM is after 12 Jun 2020 7:00 game time it will be disqualified and lag is not a valid excuse. And keep an eye on the word count too.
Remember to send your entries to me in a PM, with the number of the RPGC and your title as the subject. And let me know if you want your story to be anonymous or not.

I'm sure Cresselia is Michael's second favourite legendary Pokémon now, after all that happened to him, but no-one can top Mew ^_^
"Come on, come on, come on!" Bear said when he spotted the gym, rushing towards it. "I will kick that Miltank's butt!"
He jogged to the entrance and when he noticed no-one had followed him he started doing some warming-up exercises. "Slowpokes!" he called back to them.

Andy laughed when he saw Bear jog to the gym. "Excited and impatient as ever," he said. "The day he doesn't act like that is the day I will be worried about him."
He turned to Frosiien as she seemed impressed by the gym. "I would love to show you the gyms of the Rorie Islands one day," he said. "The gym leaders did their best to make them something special. My best friend is the gym leader of the ground gym there."

"Less talking, more getting your butts over here to fight!" Bear called to them.

Michael blinked at the unexpected question. "Uhm..." he began, knowing he should know that. They were friends after all. "I know she liked to do puzzles back home and read the detective novels of Marjory, an old woman with her faithful Growlithe who solve mysteries all over the regions. She loves astronomy, but she also likes astrology. Jirachi and Cresselia are her favourite legendary Pokémom." He glanced at Gavin. "Or were," he added, "but she had a plush of both of them in her room, and one of Clefairy too, and she wrote a thesis once about Pokémon from the stars and the moon when we attended Rhando Academy. I recall my uncle gave it a good grade. She also has a soft spot for fire-type Pokémon, loves apple pie with cinnamon, and she always has a rebus-puzzlebook with her to keep her busy when she made camp somewhere. When it's full she always buys a new one."
Was there more to tell? He thought he had covered most of the things she liked.
"Oh, and her favourite colour is burgundy, I think. And one of her dreams is to find one of Cresselia's feathers."

He paused as he thought about what they had learned about Cresselia in the Academy, that she was the counterpart of Darkrai. If there was one legendary Pokémon he wanted to meet, it was her. Every time he thought about Darkrai he felt uneasy and he searched in his pocket for the pendant with the crescent moon he had gotten from Giratina, who had been unexpected kind.

Mabel flew at a calm pace through the sky, going north. She wouldn't go far, just somewhere with a lot of open space around her. She landed on the rooftop she had taken the small Pokémon to before. She smiled when she thought about Charcoal who had evolved. Such a cutie. And Ixia too.

"Probably," Mindy said as she scanned the signs of the shops around them. "Let's go that way and see what we come across. There are usually shops with Pokémon treats and accessories in big cities. I tried to give Marie a collar, but she detests having something around her neck." She laughed. "Mabel likes jewellery when she does a contest, but not to wear every day."
She looked at the people around them before looking back at Niccia. "I have a few friends on Rhando, but none of them wanted to come on this journey with me. Michael also didn't feel like travelling when I left, I guess he needed a little more time to get ready for that. I'm glad I met you guys."

As Jase spoke, Stuart was typing and nodded occasionally. He didn't interrupt the man as he talked and just wrote down the things he said.
"It doesn't look like a form of Lycanthropy," he said when Jase was done. "If nothing weird has happened to you, this is more like you always were a Timberfae, but that something triggered the transformation to your true form. I know it happened with demons in the past, they looked like normal humans most of their life, but after reaching a certain age or after a specific alignment of the moon and planets their transformation started." He examined Jase. "I'm not saying Timberfae are demonic, but it's the only comparison I have. Your kind is probably linked to the fae, judging by the name, and the characteristics lean more towards earth than darkness."

He got up and paced around as he thought about it. "I will have to read up on it," he muttered, speaking to himself rather than Jase. "Or ask a fae, but I've never seen fae before as they tend to hide themselves and their homes behind magic and humans can't see through them." He paused as he said that. "Although... wasn't there an agent that could?" He recalled reading something like that when he had examined the profiles of the agents that were stationed here, when he was invited to come over to teach a promising young agent some charms to send demons back to their realm.

He turned to Jase when he remembered he was still sitting there. "Sorry, got lost in my thoughts there. We will go somewhere more private for a physical investigation, if you consent to that. That does mean fully undressed I'm afraid. After that you can leave and I will see if I can find more information about Timberfae through the books and cross-check that with what you told me. Then we will meet again tomorrow morning and decide on further steps to understand you. I will ask you questions about your eating and sleeping pattern and if you noticed any differences, so try to keep an eye on that tonight. Understood?"

"Yeah, no problem," Mike said to Harriet and he nodded to Ben before he left. He walked to Gaia's room and knocked on the door.
The images of the file agent Morrison had showed him and Ethan about a dragon-like demon and it's victims flashed through his mind and he swallowed heavily. He reminded himself Gaia wasn't that demon, so there was nothing to worry about.

"It's not far from here," he assured her. "The end of this corridor. Or the beginning if you enter from the other side." He moved to take her hand. "Let's go get your things then. We'll leave the mess, the boss said he would deal with it and if anyone should be cleaning that up, it's the ones who made."
