Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

"We can go to HQ when we're done here," Mike said to Benjamin, getting an agreeing nod from his friend as the demons talked between them about things they could barely comprehend. The two focussed on their breakfast for a moment while they processed the conversation so far. There were things being said they had never heard of and insights they had never contemplated.

Mike was certain Stuart could be of help, but it remained to be seen if he was willing. Out of everyone in the agency, Stuart was their best bet. Once the waffle was gone he sat back in his seat.

"Was there more you wanted to discuss?" Benjamin asked, looking at April.

The young man squirmed in the shadowy grip. "N-nothing! I-I-I... I just gave her a goat that's it. I didn't do anything to her."

"Ma'am," one of the supervisors in the room with the television screens said as he pointed to what was happening in the corridor.
Reluctently Lily tore her eyes from Gaia's screen and glanced at the monitor her underling was pointing at. After an eyeroll she pushed a button and brought her lips to a microphone while keeping her eyes on Gaia's room.
"Steph, dear," Lily's voice sounded through a speaker, "Let go of him please. Good staff is hard to come by these days. If you're hungry for a man I will give you one, okay?"
"Nectar!" Benny replied. "I tried mead once, it made my head spin and I couldn't fly straight, but it was tasty." He flew behind Andy and held onto his shoulder as he watched the keg in Frosiiens hands. "But yeah, I really liked the nectar so I asked if I could have some!"
"Like peas in a pod," Andy said, holding his hand out to Benny who slapped it with his wing.

As Michael hoisted his backpack on the shoulders, Netherlu joined them. "Yo Father, fun party as always. I'm leaving with these humans. As long as they're in my-" he glanced to Nygari "-our region I'll keep an eye on them." He smiled with a fire burning behind his eyes. "I'll scorch those that try to harm your boy, but they'll be on their own after they cross the Johto borders. I won't trespass in the regions of the others."

Last day! The deadline is in 17 hours from now.
Fenna walked along with her female companions until they reached the gate and MacKensie fell back. She turned to see if she could help the young woman, but she seemed to manage. The following goodbye happened suddenly and there was no stopping her, so Fenna didn't try. "Alright, take care. We'll return to the Mended Drum when we're done here." The fumbling with the bags, the expression, the abrupt departure, it was enough for a hint of worry for the young woman, but it wasn't enough to go after her. Maybe being alone was what she needed. She watched MacKensie walk away until she rounded a corner and then turned to Lilliana. "Let's go to the church, we're almost there."

On the other side of the gate, Fenna glanced at the sky and noticed some birds of prey in the distance, but none of them were Sil. She wasn't sure how she could tell, but she knew the falcon was closer than that. She didn't know exactly where Sil was, but somewhere in or near the city, she was certain of it.

Once they reached the church they were just in time to see one of the sisters fall down. "Oh dear..." Fenna muttered and she rushed to the sister's aid. "Are you okay?" At first glance, the sister didn't seem to be injured. Not externally anyway.

An overhead shadow made her divide her attention for just a moment and she knew, just before looking up, that it was Sil. The falcon went to the tower where she would land and Fenna smiled as she would when she'd meet up with a friend; seeing the falcon gave a similar warm feeling as well. Although it made her wonder, earlier that day she had also thought about the falcon, wondering where she was, and moments later Sil had joined her. Did Sil somehow pick up on being wanted or needed?

Thoughts for later, she turned her attention back to the sister to see if she could help her in any way, offering a hand if she was trying to get up.

"Right," Marc said, although his voice didn't give the impression he believed it. "You are much closer to this patient than whatever brief contact you may have had when you signed up, and there's definitely more going on than him being a good kid or a good friend of someone you only met today. I'm not blind nor a fool." He put his hands on his hips as he kept his eyes on Dia. "I won't say you two haven't met before, although he was obviously delusional at the time for thinking you were a spirit and invisible, but those smiles and stroking his hair do not correlate with what you told me." The fact it was unprofessional was something he didn't even want to bring up at this time.

Benjamin vaguely recalled saying that when he saw Dia; how he hated being medicated and blurting out the truth when he should be lying or at least feigning ignorance.
Fenna smiled when MacKenzie praised her looks, although she wasn't sure how to respond to the praise on her lips. Were they really that special? She'd take the woman's word for it. "You look stunning yourself," she returned the compliment. "I'm certain you'll get a lot of attention when we leave this place."
She agreed the place looked gorgeous, the Academy had likewise impressive architecture. The people living here took pride in their building, when they had the funds to do so, and it showed. Which wasn't unlike back home. It made it easier being here, even though they were somewhere far away, there were enough similarities to get a familiar feeling.
When MacKensie mentioned shopping in Holland she smiled. "I haven't shopped in Holland very often," she said. "I live in a different part of the Netherlands. No place is as grand as Paris though, but we do have some nice places."
The small talk was pleasant and Fenna was happy for this opportunity to just sit back and relax for a moment.

Once Lilliana was ready and they left the clothes shop, they discussed the next destination and when she mentioned the Church of Isis, Fenna nodded in agreement. "Alright, let's go there next."

As they went to their next destination, asking for directions when they weren't sure where to go, Fenna noticed the mage shudder while being deep in thought. "Are you okay?" she asked Lilliana.
