I've been forum RPing for about 13 years; got started on lavendereyes.net, which was a Forgotten Realms/Drizzt Do'Urden fansite, before moving to the old roleplayerguild.com! I've also dabbled in RPing in a few MMO's like Champions Online, SWTOR, and WoW but forum adventures are definitely my preference. I like just about any kind of RP in high-casual and advanced, based on whatever mood I'm feeling (typically high-fantasy, sci-fi, and/or certain fandoms). I love writing and do think of RPing as a way to develop my character and scene writing skills, which basically means I'm always looking for realistic and fluid ways for my characters to learn, grow, and develop over the course of an adventure. I don't ship my characters but do occasionally allow them to fall into a relationship, if they are naturally guided in that direction.
You can take a look at some of my saved characters here, if it interests you.
I also have a deviantart page, though I hardly ever update it.
Thanks for reading! I'm always up for a good chat. -Loopy (aka. Lupus)
To make clear: Angel is in the hallway outside her room, and is making her way to the lobby. I'll wait for someone to tag me in an interaction before I make another post.
Max can bump into her out front of the stairwell/elevator on the ground floor?
Angel specifically cleans up messes that deal with food and drink messes on fabric. I don't know if the slimes would leave any residue or not on bedding and couches and the like, but it'd probably be easiest just for Angel to grab the dirty items and throw them in for a wash.
Im sure @dragonydas can clarify, but I would assume delicate matters like clothes and bedding washing would be better handled by a person and not a little ball of highly acidic goo. The queen has not made an appearance but would be an NPC anyone could use in their scene.
Regarding Angel's job: * She goes and cleans the messes in rooms the janitor hasn't gotten to, or messes the janitor can't clean(such as spilled drinks on fabric,
Thank you for clarifying! Also just in case you missed it: the “janitors” of URC are a hoard of small semisentient slimes that comb the halls like roombas, aka. Sloombas(tm) they are controlled by a slime queen who would be the head of custodial efforts.
@AlmostEternity I know there was some initial confusion regarding locations but where is Angel currently?
@Xaltwind May ask you to remove my very last paragraph referencing Angel.
Starts with “Already feeling like this morning couldnt get any longer-“ and ends with “Easy enough to remember considering her… heritage.” Apologies for a late edit, y’all.
@LupusIntus Random Question: Is it okay for Angel to like Max due to his looks? Of course, she knows the age difference is too much(or at least, how it seems there is an age difference due to appearance.), so she won't try to establish a relationship of any sort.
Hey, thank you for asking! I have no qualms about character relationships that happen organically through the RP and I am also all about the
COMEDY
so anything that makes Max uncomfortable, embarrassed, confused, shy, or all of the above is A-OK with me!
I'll have to think about his feelings on something not just... not-innately-terrifying.
If nothing else, it could easily be a service offered to residents who pay directly, and then that goes to the condo HOA (which would likely discount you as you're offering a premium service to its residents).
Oh yeah, sloombas. I keep forgetting about those. It's like Dungeon Meishi.
There's been a lot of dungeon shows, lately.
I do love the idea of URC functioning via a complex monster ecosystem. The building’s hot water is created by a fire serpent living beneath the water heaters and being fed by molten trash that’s been recycled by a gelatenous ooze.
