I sometimes hear about someone having skeletons in their closet. Ok? How do you know they're still in there? You can't just assume a skeleton is gonna stay still. This is your house, not a graveyard.

You're right! Good catch, my man.

I'm liking our characters so far.
@1Charak2@knifeman@Ambra@Lord Orgasmo@MadManMoon Here's the character sheet for applications. Keep in mind we will be in or near the 2000s when writing backstories, and expect more premise information within the day to help with backstory writing.

@Ambra Do you still have a friend interested in playing?

Painter First, Magus Second

Apartment Workshop, Core District

This place was found? Despite the fine pieces that shroud it? Fair enough, I suppose.

Hemlock crossed the room, passing between numerous easels covered by cloths, more than there had been last night, arranged in the most pleasing formation he had been able to manage. He was able to detect the opposing pair as they approached the boundary of his building. That being the case, they would see a second-story window swing partially open at their arrival.

"You're shaking, sir." A younger man's voice called down to the elderly Master. "Even so, you're bold to approach a workshop so directly. My Servant will come down there to kill yours, and then you'll be free from all this stress. You'll have no more reason to tremble."

He sounded calm. Not disinterested, but no more than irritated. Was this the "cold blooded murdering magus" Cerzelium had imagined he would meet, then? No. How the old man interpreted him was another matter, but the truth was he was simply focused on other things. The idea that his studio was under threat captured his attention, but since it was simple a duel of Servants there was little chance his art would be harmed. Still, there was no telling how things would end up if things went wrong.

The window closed.

"Attack immediately, Lancer. This isn't a fight where you can get much use from your favoured tactics of retreating and confounding the enemy. Stand strong and defeat that Rider. Use your Noble Phantasm if that's what it takes to get rid of the threat."

He stepped back into the room and stacked together a few key canvases from different easels. Best to be ready if the place had to be abandoned. With that done, he idly picked up a smaller handheld canvas and began a portrait of the magus below. All this was done with greater investment that his words to Cerzelium. There could be no effort or precaution too great when it came to art, after all.

Ooh, I see, I see. A vampire character should be interesting. I'll probably have to disallow the creation of ghouls, or at least the mass creation of them, as that's quite a powerful way to raise an army.
Yeah, Spin is out for now since the way it progresses and gets used in its part is fairly enjoyable and need not be spoiled. Hamon is fine- so far the idea seems to not have a lot of vampires going on so you'd be closer to part 3 Joseph than part 2 Joseph or Jonathan in terms of Hamon usefulness. Not sure what you mean by the other side of Hamon. Healing? Creating tension and manipulating objects?

That's an interesting Stand idea. The ability lets you speak with the dead, essentially? But not just any dead person, as they need to have a song associated with them. Did you mean more like a song that represents a close relationship you had with them, or are you saying you only want to conjure dead musicians and the like?

You guys can go ahead and keep voicing input for the next day or two, before I come out with the official story premise, character sheet, and rules.
Hero of Patience

Northern Latin District, Meeting Place in the Streets

Under the light of a streetlamp, on the ground instead of a roof this time, stood the paladin. He wore his armour, as his modern clothes would fall uselessly to the ground if it became necessary to spiritualize. He crossed his arms as he glanced occasionally towards either end of the street.

"...Maybe Sir Ywain and Sir Noon met their ends here last night."

Saber's tone held no fear, nor humour, nor sadness. If the knights he had agreed to fight with had been killed, then that was that. They were knights, after all, and they had agreed to do battle against Archer. Still, even if the idea of them dying in battle brought him no tears, the idea of them surviving brought him hope and happiness. He cared for them, but did not hate the lack of them. A one-sided coin.

"Let's not linger too long. If neither the knights nor the ladies show themselves soon, we have better ways to spend our time."

He spoke aloud. His Master had accompanied him this night, although she had hidden herself for the time being. A fair decision, he supposed, since it wasn't like they were waiting in ambush. He was the one with the presence that would draw the attention of others in the district. Speaking of which, the radiance of another Servant touched his senses. Leaning a bit to gaze southward between a set of buildings, he could vaguely make out a man standing on the Pantheon, far in the distance. Was it Sir Tristan? If so, the Archer could probably see him much better than vice versa. Saber raised his hands, no weapon in either, to show that he wasn't there to fight. He then flashed Tristan a thumbs-up that seemed to say good luck out there tonight.

I've gone and made too many friends. He thought idly to himself. Some of them will probably have to die.

@King Cosmos@KoL
Buildings, mostly. We're mobsters, but underground ones, so I suppose we have access to some sort of hideout given the police are obviously aiming to dismantle our group.
Interesting, interesting! I like the sound of it. Can you tell me more about what are situation will be, physically speaking?
Are you Ambra's friend? The game may already be full otherwise.

This was to check interest in the general idea of a JoJo adventure rp, not to sell a specific adventure. I've been asking the players about their preferences on the subject, including those abilities you mentioned. Since no one has spoken up about wanting to use abilities like that, any supernatural elements beyond Stands will probably be more along the lines of magic items or phenomenons like the thing from part 5 or the things from part 7, rather than a "type of being" like a vampire or hamon user.
Those are interesting! Dragon Slayer sounds like a good and versatile one in particular. I don't like ability copying/stealing abilities, so probably not that last one. I might make a rule against that type of ability in the OOC post.
