Trineon
Lord of Rivers, Lakes, and Oceans

The water god continued to guard Flora as the other gods reacted to the voice. Ashte also took a position to defend Flora, saying that she didn’t recognize the spirit. Aureia also indicated that she didn’t know the spirit, before telling the spirit that the mortal that they were traveling with needed food, but doing it in a slightly disrespectful manner. While Trineon wondered if that would anger the spirit, he was completely sure that the assembled gods could take the spirit down if a fight started.

But then Alasayana spoke, Trineon thinking that she spoke much more eloquently. But it seemed that even the goddess of the hunt wasn’t sure of her explanation, Trineon noting that her many tails moved about, seemingly to prevent an ambush from any direction. But no such ambush happened, neither did any talking, as it became quiet for a little bit.

But then the silence was broken by the spirit, announcing that it was going to reveal itself. Red and green light began to appear from the darkness, eventually coalescing into a human shape. The light then faded, revealing a young looking woman with horns and a tail. Based on how actually physical her form was, Trineon could tell that Nakri was a powerful spirit.

The spirit then spoke, explaining that Flora and Sir Oren had made some kind of deal with her before as a means of passing through the forest. But now that Oren was dead, Nakri asked if the gods would help her with the agreement.

Trineon took a few seconds to muse over it. While he was in a rush to find out the truth about his resurrection, he also remembered that as a god he was supposed to help the lesser beings. Even a spirit like Nakri was considered one of Trineon’s flock, so he was duty bound to help her. Also this would be finishing a task for the late Sir Oren. Trineon had heard that mortal souls have an easier time getting to the afterlife if all their worldly tasks were complete. Trineon believed that the man who had protected Flora did deserve a good final rest.

“Alright Nakri, I find those terms acceptable,” stated Trineon, “But what kind of task did the fallen knight agree to? Whatever it is, it will be possible for us gods.”

It was only for a second that Trineon considered the fact that he was speaking for the other gods. But he felt a strong conviction over doing this, and they would just have to go along with it. The last time Trineon was alive, he had been known as an easy going, whatever sort of god. But in this new life, Trineon had decided to be more assertive, to lead others. With so few gods left, Trineon knew that they all needed to be strong.

Tai & Agumon

Location: Luncheon Room, Paradox Engine
Mentions: Danny@Crimson Flame World@Mintz

Tai grinned sheepishly as Danny revealed that he could of just phased them into the cold room. While Tai didn’t know before that Danny could phase with others, he did realize that it was a reasonable assumption. But then again Agumon wasn’t always reasonable, sometimes his brain being more digital dinosaur than digital person.

“Sorry, he’s sometimes a lot,” said an embarrassed Tai, “Hopefully no one would be missing that door too much.”

As Tai spoke and then listened to Danny, he was glad that he brought up that no one was actively using the space station as it did seem long abandoned. Thus Tai didn’t feel as bad as he took a few steps towards the shattered pieces of the metal door. Agumon was waiting in front of where the door had stood, doing his best to wait for Tai and Danny. But he was clearly anxious, bobbing up and down on the spot.

“Agumon, next time stop and think before resorting to destruction,” stated Tai, “You remember all those Digimon we thought were bad but talking to them settled things?”

“OK Tai. My bad,” replied Agumon as he rubbed the back of his head, “But can we go see if there is food in there? I’m still hungry.”

“Sure,” responded Tai as he gestured for Agumon to enter the cold room.

As both Digimon and Human partner entered the cold room, they instantly became aware of just how large the room was. They were also inundated with an oppressive cold, the whole room just releasing a ridiculous level of cold. Tai wished that he had been wearing the jacket part of his uniform, but it had been spring in his world and as such not necessary.

Tai looked over at Agumon, worrying for him as he wore no clothing. But Agumon had seemingly found a solution, breathing small embers out of his mouth, just enough to heat himself up. As the duo took a few more steps into the cold room, it did appear that all that was in the large room was large cannisters, covered in a layer of frost.

“Is this food?” asked Agumon as he walked over to one of the cannisters.

The Digimon then proceeded to wipe a smattering of frost that was covering the top of the cannister. As he did so, Tai was able to spot some kind of markings on the cannister, apparently words of a sort. As Tai stared at it, he could tell that it was neither Japanese or English, the only two languages he knew.

“Agumon, is that word written in DigiCode?” asked Tai, figuring it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

“Uhh,” Agumon looked at the revealed word, “Nope. You sure it isn’t a human language?”

“If it is, then I don’t recognize the script,” said a puzzled Tai.

But if there were many other worlds, then Tai realized that meant that there could be many more languages out there. Tai considered asking Danny if he could recognize the script, but decided that since they were both Humans and spoke the same language, he probably wouldn’t recognize it. But Tai still could be surprised.

“So we can’t read the label, but Agumon can you see what’s in there?” questioned Tai.

Agumon nodded before wiping the last bit of frost covering the top of the cannister. While Agumon hoped for maybe a nice piece of meat or even a pizza slice, when he gazed through the top, all he saw was some kind of purple slop.

“So what’s in there?” asked Tai.

“Well you know those purple fruits we were eating earlier,” replied Agumon, “Take one of those, leave it in the sun for too long, then mash it up.”

Mystery purple goo? Not exactly appetizing sounding to Tai. Figuring that there should be some other food, if that was indeed food, Tai walked over to a different cannister. As he brushed the little bit of condensation that was obscuring the lid, Tai was surprised to see a blue liquid. For some reason his mind immediately went to Mountain Dew. The liquid reminded him of how some of the limited time flavors looked. Tai was a fan of Mountain Dew, so maybe it would be good.

“This one kind of looks like soda, or maybe it could be juice from a mystery fruit,” stated Tai.

Agumon then began walking down the hallway, wiping down more cannisters, only to find he either the purple slush or mystery blue liquid. Tai did the same on the other side of the room’s shelving, also finding only the purple or blue stuff. Tai and Agumon eventually gave up, regrouping in the middle of the room.

But as they did so, they noticed something very odd. Behind Danny, the metal pieces of the broken door began to reform into something. Becoming a liquid like metal, the door restructured itself, returning to how it was a few minutes ago. Luckily the door reformed in the open position, not potentially locking them in the cold room.

“Well that was odd,” noted Tai, “Is the station alive or something. I mean its rebuilding itself.”

“I don’t know Tai,” replied Agumon, “But I’m going to try this food.”

Tai took a step toward Agumon and said, “You sure? Your description of it didn’t sound too good.”

“Well you always say that I should try new things,” replied Agumon as he opened the lid of the nearest container.

Agumon the stuck his hand in the purple goop, finding that it wasn’t actually frozen. Grabbing a handful of the slop, Agumon gingerly put it into his mouth. As he did so, Tai prayed that it wouldn’t kill him. Granted Agumon had eaten a lot of strange food since meeting Tai, but food found on a space station was a lot different than simply a tree they’ve never seen before.
So I switched my avatar to a Gundam one last week, not thinking of doing a Gundam roleplay. Well it seems to be serendipity as you’ve posted this interest check. I have seen Iron Blooded Orphans in its entirety, but it’s been a few years. But I’m sure that any holes in my memory about the show could be answered by you. So yes I am interested in this, as I now have the urge to write a mobile suit fight.
This sounds interesting. Hopefully others feel the same way.
I was wondering if this would restart. Not sure if I would want to play Roger again, or make a new character.
@nodogs
I'm going to bow out of this as there is already a lot of people with interesting characters already applied. Hope you guys have fun with this and maybe I'll see you in another roleplay.
It's okay, I'll come up with another power, phasing was just a thought I had. Give me a little bit to come up with something else.

EDIT:
What about body duplication? Like maybe being able to copy my character once or twice, but they can't remain separated for long periods of time. Let me know if this would be a fit for this RP.
So another idea had for a power would be phasing through solid objects, kind of like Kitty Pryde of the X-Men.

The Pixie couldn’t help but notice that Almira was staring at his wings, all eight of them. She was inspecting him like one would do with an artifact from a far off land. But she did seem to come from a far off land herself, so maybe Pixies were a totally foreign concept to her.

Almira then spoke in Pataliputran again, saying something about going somewhere warm. Dumas could agree with that, as the chill of the mountain was penetrating his clothes and chilling his frame. The only reason he wasn’t completely frozen was the warmth in his body caused by his personal mana reserves. Dumas consciously focused the mana into his hands, hoping to keep them of use if a fight was to happen.

As he did so, Almira said something in another language to her crew members, causing them to scurry about. Almira then talked to the Dragon Lady, apparently being allowed to take the corpse of the fallen Dragon back to their base. This surprised Dumas, as he had assumed that Dragons have some sort of funeral rites. He also glanced at Catherine, knowing that she had wanted to stake claim to the body so that she could harvest and study from it.

But he looked back to Almira began speaking in Pataliputran, offering a ride on her mechanical horse to their base, as long as they did not attack them, or something to that affect. While Dumas was always up for trying new things, he had to admit that there was some trepidation when he heard the roar of the mechanical horse as she called it.

After denying Catherine’s ask for blood, which she said in Common by some kind of magic, Almira awaited a response from the gathered adventurers. They all took a few steps backward and huddled up to discuss Almira’s offer. Srikandi immediately advocated for going with the stranger as to avoid traversing at night.

Dumas initially agreed with her, before Catherine went on a rant, explaining why this was a bad deal. Truth be told, Dumas did believe that they should gain the right over the Dragon corpse, as they had killed it themselves, well not Dumas, but if they were nice they might give him some.

But then the Princess of his homeland spoke, eloquently bringing up many reasons why they couldn’t trust these strangers and that they might be acting in bad faith. It was a lot to mull over for the Pixie as he was torn with going to see whatever was out there and the need to be cautious. After a minute of considering both sides in his mind, Dumas came to what he thought was a good compromise.

“Your majesty, if I may speak freely. I believe that someone should go with them,” explained Dumas, “Someone to assess these people and what their true intentions are. If they are truly from a far off land, we do not know if they were truly explorers, or if they came as conquerors. Clearly they have magic and machines the like that none of us have seen before. Someone does need to figure out what is going on.”

Dumas then took a deep breath before continuing, “And I volunteer myself. I am skilled in magic and blade, and if things go sour I could always escape. Even with their mechanical pegasi, I don’t think they would be able to track a one foot Pixie flying in a snowstorm. If this is acceptable, then I suggest we introduce me as a representative of the people of Friestan. Hopefully they would buy it.”

Dumas knew that volunteering for such a role put himself in a lot of potential danger. He would have to play nice with these strangers and do nothing to incite a war. That was unless the war was happening, and he needed to escape to warn the lands of Friestan. Either way it was a lot of responsibility for a Pixie who kind of just wandered around through life, never trying to amount to much.

Actually I might not go with power mimicry. I'll take some time to brainstorm possible powers that would fit in for this RP.
