I think I have my writing confidence back. Feels like centuries since I could string together sentences.

Vindication comes, so too does peace of mind as I close one chapter and open a new one.

Hi. I'm a role-player/writer who has spent over twenty-one years in this hobby.

I will pretty much write anything as long as my partner is cool with my inconsistent posting pace and momentum. I'm pretty sociable and I make dumb jokes all the time. My favorite things to write is capeshit, anime, space operas, horror, and slice of life/mundane drama. My writing level leans toward minimalism, but I try to give my partners/groups more than enough to work off of. I like to think I am pretty flexible.

I like cinema, music, and animation just as much as I like writing with people. My biggest hobby after writing is pop media analysis. Ask me questions or for suggestions and I'm sure to have something for you. 😎😎😎

I had a wizard girl who dated a lizardfolk once. It was fun.
And speaking of @TGM, how's your character sheet coming along, Gowi? I know you've been out of the loop too.

Name
Tamara Simms

Age
26 (b. 1968)

Place of Residence
247 Elm Street

Personality Traits
Ms. Fix It
Tamara is good with her hands and knows how to use a variety of tools in certain situations. She’s built a garden, jury-rigged some electrical work in her basement, and knows how to tinker. She’s no electrician, carpenter, or farmer but she dabbles. Jack of All Trades, master of none.

Temperamental
When Tamara is mad, get out of the way. Her typical sarcasm can turn snide and crass in an instant and she has no patience for morons especially now when there’s a dangerous precedent with the foggy apocalypse and all. This can make her difficult to work with and have others have a negative POV of her.

Willful
Tamara has a resilient and powerful will. She isn’t prone to giving up easily and won’t break down in a stressful situation.

Background
Born into an integrated Hvass in the bustling 70s, Tamara experienced the small town try to defy the changing trends. After all, the small towns that dot the Midwest aren’t at all too different than down in Dixieland.

Following his return from Vietnam her father opened a hardware and sporting goods store in the mid-seventies. It wasn’t on Main Street, but given the small amount of competition the two stores co-existed well enough. Different crowds, different stores. Different prices, different values. The idea was to make a living for his family that was honest and simple, after all, he had left a pregnant wife when he left for the war and by the time he got back his daughter could walk.

The aspirations were admirable enough and they worked out in the long run, though it was never enough. In High School Tamara was aiming to get out, even if out just meant Chicago. But there really wasn’t any means to really leave. Between the store always needing attendance, her mother’s sudden sickness when she was seventeen, and her younger brothers joining the Armed Forces it left Tamara as the only one who was around. Take care of mom. Run the store. There was no time for her aspirations, even if they were as simple as “move to Chicago and go to College”. Tamara ultimately came to terms with it, well, at least until the fog came. She hasn't seen her father since.

Other Info
TBD, if needed.
Yeah... who would ever promise to get a post up and then not do so for a week or two or four...

Could be worse... could be me...
Excellent.
roses are red
violets are blue
somebody fuckin post already

Stop harassing me! It's transphobic!
I wonder what Peter Murphy, known lead songwriter for goth rock pioneer Bauhaus would think of that comparison. He'd probably laugh, haha. But yeah, I'm in a mood.

The status bar was a mistake but it's a beautiful mistake and I love it because it's fun and I can shitpost like a champ and get like 5 likes and feel accomplished before looking around at the filth pile surrounding me, lit only by the glow of my monitor, sigh, then think of the next way to fill my life with meaning. It's great.

Other forums don't seem to have a problem with it. It's a culture problem with RPG and you can't "fix" a culture overnight.
Is it more engaging than the last Far Cry? Because that's what I've heard around the water cooler.
I played like an hour of Far Cry 6 and I've never broken my neck on tonal whiplash so hard and so often in my life.

Is it fun? And did you enjoy selling your credit card info to Epic Games Store's bad security system?
