@Omega Man Right here and ready for action! I have been dying for a roleplay like this, and while I will admit sometimes I can take a while to post, as long as you're not afraid to @me every now and then I don't think that will be a problem.

Edit: how does a new york ninja girl sound? I have a character named Chie I have been dying to play!@Birdboy

I honestly figured the part time thing was more of a go-to for people who don't post as much. A ninja girl from NY could work, but she'd need a superpower and a reason for only being part time.

Curious about it. Would an emancipated minor be considered full or part time?@Mistress Dizzy

I'd only guess it matters if the character was still in school and available to pull duty on weekends. Then again the RP could just take place in the summer if that makes it easier...

Where all the Titans fans at?!

The world had seen better days. The Justice League was dealing with an international incident and in talks with the UN about the formation of a Justice League Europe. The Teen Titans had just fallen apart and there were several heroes who’d fell in between the cracks of the last big crisis. Two long-time friends who’d seen time with both the Teen Titans and the League decided to get together and do something about the superhero shortage. Maybe the younger heroes had given up. Perhaps the slightly older heroes had fallen on hard times. Wally West (aka the Flash) and Vic Stone (Cyborg) pitched the idea of an academy for younger heroes in need of training to a few billionaire friends. After deciding against the name ‘Justice University’ the pair of heroes and their backers decided on the obvious name… Titans Academy. 



Setting up shop in Midway City after a spike in metahuman crime got national media coverage, Cyborg and the Flash took a different approach with their ‘school’. They took in young metahumans between the ages of 16-25, and there were part time and full time members each with a different mentor. The Flash already protected Central and Keystone City, so he’s part time. Cyborg tackled the full timers and relocated to the Midway branch of STAR Labs while his team lived at the academy. It was pitched to the mayor of Midway City as a police academy of sorts for the next generation of superheroes. 

Midway City was once the stomping grounds of Hawkman as well as the Doom Patrol. Regular metahuman threats included more savage individuals like Lion-Mane, and there’s talk of Robotman losing his mind and wrecking a local bar. However the boys may get some help in the form of another old friend…

If you've read this far know that the tone of this RP will be similar to that of the Young Justice animated series. I'm gonna shoot for something more PG-13 with strong language out the window; it just doesn't suit the theme well. I'm gonna insist on High Casual standards, if you can't get a couple paragraphs and a little dialogue in each post then just move along. Hoping to recruit 5-6 players for this. A post a week in the IC is all I'm gonna ask of players, and to keep up with random game chatter and superhero discussion in the OOC once in a while to let us know you're still alive and aware the game's moving forward. Here are the Character Sheet requirements if anybody wants to see this happen.

You can rework any existing DC characters for this or come up with an original. I'm thinking of a guy with energy/force field powers. I'd imagine most of the part timers would be the younger heroes while the full time Academy students would live at the Tower and be over the age of 18. Adds that little bit of teen melodrama for heroes still in school or living with their parents. Let me know if there's any questions or concerns!

I was honestly thinking not humanoid but human entirely. He doesn't remember how the hell he got here@Blizz

I can dig that. My guy will be from one of the planets the Vax destroyed and there's a few dozen of them on the station. The dark eyes are part of the Nightstar suit giving them enhanced vision in the darkness of space. Before the Vax came my guy's people were always hiding from humanoid bat-creatures at night in a Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick type of world.

My character's concept is a lab rat who doesn't have a lot of distant memories, experimented on with off-the-books tech that gave him psychic powers which can influence technology. He escaped and took some people down on his way to freedom and now the united planets and probably other people treat him as a massive criminal who is "highly dangerous and highly unpredictable" when he's just trying to figure out where his next meal's gonna be@Blizz

A humanoid lab rat? I kinda dig the Rocket Raccoon vibes...

EDIT: I also tried thinking of everything with the moves lists. Can see what kind of offense and defense people choose to make each character more unique.

@BlizzI'm also still kind of a noob on Discord. I use it, but only understand a fraction of it.
