@PatientBeanYeah using a precog ability to know what attacks your enemies are coming at you with is cool. Originally I'd thought of using a reworked Hourman for this and that would've been one of the primary powers he used.

@Mistress Dizzy Everything looks good other than not having a sample post. If it's cool with you we might could use the Alpha Continuum after the RP gets going depending on how they operate. I immediately thought of organizations like AIM and Kobra.

@Damo021@Lord Wraith I remember that RP too, it's where several long standing friendships began. I actually almost used a reworked version of my Atlas character from that game for this.

Okay here’s everything I got so far with the Character Sheets submitted. A few of them are missing sample posts, and in the case of Shuriken we gotta know your personality, mentor, and full-time or part-time status. With Oracle the only thing I need is for her to drop the force field powers cause that’s my guy’s thing and I don’t want a lot of power overlap. For Jon Kent to work in the RP he’s gotta be powered down to the point he isn’t a one man Justice League. He’s so powerful he skips the Titans in the comics and goes right to being a member of the Justice League at age 18. In the Young Justice cartoon they depowered Superboy, I’d base it more on that. I usually just say ‘no Kryptonians or Lanterns’ in my RP’s but if your heart is set on this character I’ll work with ya.

@Hillan You sure you just want to reuse that character? I vaguely remember him from one of the last times I tried rebooting my Young Justice 2020 RP LOL. It's the hat that made me think of it.

⦿ P O W E R S:

Alexander has the metahuman power to project force fields made of yellow solar energy. Not unlike a Green Lantern’s constructs, the force fields and shields are based on his willpower and ability to focus. He generally creates a personal shield that some say resembles a police badge. Alex also possesses enhanced strength (around a five ton cap) and uses the extra muscle to super leap from rooftop to rooftop when on patrol.

Alexander has the same limitations as any average human. His costume can protect him from most small arms fire, but he can still die from bullets or anything that can kill people. Alex has no formal training and is at best decent at hand to hand comabt.

⦿ Brief Bio:

Alexander was your average kind of kid growing up in the Eastside slums of Midway City. When a fire erupted in his parents’ apartment building his metahuman power kicked in and the high school sophomore was able to protect his family from the flames. Three years later he would not be so lucky when his parents were in a car crash that took both of their lives. For several months Alex was aimless and lacking direction. A chance encounter with members of the Justice Society during the grand opening of a Hawkman museum left the young man in awe and he knew what he wanted to do. Rather than continue to hide his metahuman abilities, he used part of the life insurance money he’d received to get a suit made and began patrolling Midway City. In his brief time in the superhero community he hasn’t done much aside from stopping a few purse snatchers and rescuing several people from a burning building. The only time he came across an actual supervillain was when he tried stopping Copperhead from stealing something from STAR Labs. The goon for hire handed him a beating, however the meeting eventually put Alex on Cyborg’s radar.

Eventually Alex will meet Jim Harper and the helmet of the Guardian will be passed on to him at some point.

@Omega Man Because I'm an eager beaver, will this be running similar to the comic of the same name where our characters are more like students ala X-Men versus just being a young superhero group ala Young Justice? The opener is a little vague on the subject but I know personally, I'm hoping for something that's sort of a hybrid of both. Kind of like the old 'X-Men Divided We Fall' RP we GM'd together back on Old Guild.

Either way, a combination of 'school of adventure', with typical superheroics and maybe even a mystery focused on the team and/or school like the Red X stuff in the comic could be a lot of fun to play out.

It will be a mix of both. I read the Teen Titans Academy comics and I'm fairly certain both of us could do better than the writer Tim Sheridan (and shit, did I tell you I'm actually making comics now?!). There wasn't as much school stuff as there should have been, and even with the mystery of Red X that writer couldn't make it more interesting. Its also why I didn't go for the obvious mentors like Nightwing, Starfire, and Beast Boy... they've just tried and failed too many times to ever make that work again (it worked for Geoff Johns, but so did everything).

Right now my 11 month old is at my wife's aunt's so I've got a little time. Was trying to figure out the rest of my CS (was using a format for an old RP I found) but I need to start going over the CS's now that a few have been finished. Origami is definitely a favorite @Mistress Dizzy as well as Blitzkrieg.
