Winter in Ashton can be truly and absolutely beautiful. With just the right amount of snowfall it can look and feel like a winter wonderland you would normally only find in a cheesy lifetime movie. In some ways it’s as pleasant and pure as that, but sometimes looks can be deceiving. Beyond every wholesome citizen and act of kindness there is a conman waiting for their chance to strike. For a place as beautiful as Ashton still has its shadows...and those shadows can sometimes bring out the worst in people.

Like I said, winter in Ashton can be truly beautiful. However, it can be equally as lonely. Some thrive here. Others simply struggle to make ends meet. For every person lucky or dedicated enough to make their place the right way...there are those that go around the system and break the rules to get what they want. Regardless of what side of the law you are on, or the kind of life you lead...this is your home. Who are you going to be? How will your actions impact Asthon and its people? What’s your story? There’s only one way to find out.

Be who you want to be. Live your life the way you want to live it. Make your mark on the history of Ashton.

@KZOMBI3 I'd love to see it a bit more fleshed out, but really you covered the necessary bits so it's not a big deal. I'm a huge fan of not revealing everything there is to know about a character on the CS so that there is room to grow and evolve with the story. Basically I just want to see enough to know whether or not they could exist in this world lol.

@Fabricant451 I would prefer photographs, but realistic artwork wouldn't bother me. For the sake of consistency I guess I'd ask that we avoid anime style character art and things like that.

Welcome to Ashton

Ashton Colorado is a fictional city full of tourism, nightlife, community, drama, and more. It's big enough to matter, but still maintains that small town feel. Here you can be whoever and whatever you want to be. Own a small business, run for mayor, attend the university, thrive in the club scene, find your way as a struggling artist, serve as an officer of the law, or even build your own criminal organization. Ashton welcomes people from all walks of life, but don't forget that actions have consequences...and even in the safest of cities danger lurks in the shadows.

Welcome to Ashton is a Roleplay focused on community and relationships. Inspired by things like Stardew Valley, The Sims, Slice of Life, and even Grand Theft Auto, this is going to be a story about three dimensional people in a fairly realistic world. Make friends, fall in love, face your demons, struggle with addiction, deal with past mistakes, find redemption, break bad, but whatever you do...create fun characters that do fun things.

This game is going to have moments of wholesomeness as well as adult content, and will uphold the following rules:
-Be kind.
-Be mature.
-Cooperate with one another.
-Be willing to drive the narrative.
-Respect GM & Co-GM rulings.
-Do things "within reason".
-Don't be a dick.
-Anything beyond rated R needs to go to PMs or fade to black.
