Oh.

Weird spot for me to be in that I did not anticipate.

I’m kind of getting out of RPs, rn. Like I am leaving my other one that has been long term.

If this seemed like it wasn’t going anywhere, I would have stayed but Wraith made that post like he maybe couldn’t handle it. Which is fine, again, I don’t mind that, but rn, I’m kind of in the mood to be very selectively interested in stuff. If, for whatever reason, were to get postponed or put on Hiatus, I probably wouldn’t get a satisfying conclusion with Jo. And unfortunately, it does seem like this RP still balances on a knife’s edge.

For that reason, I’m out.

Good luck though!
I can work with whichever idea is proposed.

That said, 2 would probably be the most interesting.
It is strange.

There was clearly a lot of effort placed into the front end of setting this all up. But only for it to lead to an assured end from lack of availability. It is a lot to decide it isn’t worth even trying to hang on to but it is your choice.

I do not mind. I can always find other things to join and write. Sad to see something that had a lot of effort come to a sudden end, however.

There is no student more chill and easygoing than this 7th year from the House of Seraphine; some professors think she's gotten lazy, but you can't really blame her when she's got a personal pocket dimension to occupy her time.

I’m game and still interested. Haven’t had time to sit down and finalize the concept since it takes a bit of puzzle-piecing into Peter Parker’s already established background.

First Class #2.70: What likes Honey?

Turning with a slow-growing sheepish grin to look at them all lined up, he pulled his shoulders right up to his ears. “Sorry, thanks. I like you guys, okay? You’re nice. It’s nice, all right. But they all need nice, too. Uhh, want your bee back?” There’d been one crawling on his shoulder for a while now and he wasn’t sure if it belonged to Firebird’s beehive or some… other beehive…

"Give here!" Jonna snapped quickly ushering one of her own off of the boy's shoulders. She had been too close to Team Eclipse's gathering and immediately snapped to attention considering the circumstances. People panicked when hers would crawl on them but they meant no harm. They were just resting! The insect vanished up Jonna's long-sleeve as she began to move away, only stopping suddenly. "Thank you." She said in a weak cheeriness, relieved that she didn't have to witness cruelty to something she cared about.

Team Firebird.

Happy for me.

The prospect of having to be around an entirely new set of people was daunting and even though there would be some new people, there was not as much as if she had to leave. Even the fact that she was still a Firebird was even relieving as she wouldn't have to learn a new team name! But that was only the first part of this ordeal. Admittingly, Jonna was feeling like she had done a full day already with her mind drifting off to picture to an inviting bed of flowers to quietly lay in.

She'd be there soon enough hopefully, eyeing each of the newcomers to Firebird. She did not say anything to them as they passed her by. At this stage, she was unaware of what they were like and having them be this unknown quantity was dangerous. They could be violent towards her own. Although others like her favorite Ariel, were making brief introductions. It was a prime opportunity to lay out the ground rules:

Number one: Don't kill bees!
...
Where there any others? No, there weren't but there should have been.

"Hi everyone. Please don't kill any bees. They are me. You can call them or me, Jonna. Thank you." Jo looked pretty pleased with herself after announcing that loudly to the other Firebirds. Some already knew but it was more for the other newcomers. Oh, right pronouns. She had never considered them but considering she wasn't just Jo, it might be confusing for others if they didn't understand. "Oh! I am 'they' if you mean bees and me, or 'she' if you mean me. Good, ya?" She smiled, her head bobbing in a nod at the others, at least anyone who paid attention thus far.

House selections.

Jonna had lingered watching as the others left. She still did not know what house she would choose. They were supposed to mean something but she couldn't see past the mass of new people and the frusturation of not knowing what the right choice was. She pulled her envelope from her pocket, wrinkled and bent, she went through the three invitations again.

Protector, sociableness, and motivation.

Had anyone ever told her what her qualities were? No, except when they might have been mean about it. She frowned. Was she sociable? She did talk every day to her bees, of course. Although she was told that was like talking to herself, but you could be social with yourself, right? No, she probably was not a Lynx.

Was she motivated? Yes, but that was because it was natural. She wanted things, like everyone else. Why would that make her special? That she had great motivation so a lot of it? Maybe, the logic made sense to her in that way. She was, after all prepared to do anything for what she wanted. However, her third choice stood out as she brought the crumpled invitation up to the front. The sigil laid bare:

Bears liked honey. She was protective of her bees. What other reason did she need? If she joined Ursus, others would understand that protecting herself was most important. In fact she had all the motivation in the world to protect herself so this meant that Canis was merely leading up to being an Ursus.

Yes, it made complete sense.

She walked over to the Ursus sign-up, offering her crinkled invitation letter. "Jonna Harlson to become an Ursus, please.
@Pirouette Depends on the Symbiote you want to use. I've got plans for Venom, but the others are good. Mania, Carnage, Anti-Venom, Phage, Raze, Riot, Scorn, Scream, Toxin, all perfectly good to go, but i've got specific plans for Venom which have already been hinted at in the story so far...

I don’t know too many of them. Carnage could be one to add since I know that one.

But I guess let me know. I’m more interested in working with someone on writing a story than almost exclusively doing my own thing.
@PirouetteAs the one playing Spider-Man, yes, i'm very happy to talk there being another Spider in town. If there's any specific villains you've got idea's for, unless they are one of the ones specifically listed in my bio, feel free to use them.

Here’s a rough idea:

A lot of the pressure is off of Peter because Silk can fill in the role of the Web-slinging Vigilante. She’s been trained and does her job well but the pressure of the role is starting to get her. From her view, Peter is kind of getting a bargain while she continues to deal with the remaining villains. At some point, enter the Symbiote to maybe inflate that animosity.

It is an idea and I’m not 100% confident on my comic book stuff so feel free to also kind of lead. I can follow easily.
@mattmanganon

I have a Silk concept from one of these that I kind to play. Any room for another Spider?
