Current No matter how subtle the wizard, a knife between the shoulder blades will seriously cramp his style.

Arguing over petty details at times of dimensional emergency was a familiar wizardly trait.

A wizard never had friends, at least not friends who were wizards. It needed a different word. Ah yes, that was it. Enemies. But a very different class of enemies. Gentlemen.

Ryū is a bit of a blank page arc-wise, so I'm still looking for potential play mates now that her adventure in the restaurant is coming to a close!

Locations: Bldg 1, Restaurant Interactions: @Sky Blue

Ryū looked up from her feast, forks held high and chin dripping with hot sauce. There was a kind of frenzy in her unblinking eyes that hadn't been there before, and she seemed to have difficulty with pausing her feeding once she hsd begun. The sauce? she growled, It's the boss! Feels like my mouth is burning! Only way to get that while being like this! She pointed at herself with a fork for emphasis, licking her lips to catch more of the sauce. She suddenly narrowed her eyes at the changeling, as if suspicious. What, you want some? the dragon hissed, baring her teeth in a snarl, Well, you can't! It's mine. My own... My preciousss~

Tearing her gaze from the bagel-muncher, Ryū started attacking the grilled goodness once more, growling and smacking audibly as she tore into her meal. The forks were rending and tearing at the flesh, making quite the mess. She lost herself in gluttous greed, thrashing her head to and fro with pieces of meat lodged in her maw, as if delivering a killing bite. Insanity was the word that would come to mind for anyone unaware of her true form. Bad manners came a close second, knowledge or not.

In an all-too short space of time, the barbequed banquette was lost, devoured to the last drop of sauce. Ryū was gnawing on a bone for the last scraps of flesh, tossing the bone onto the impressive skeletal heap that was covering her plate. She leaned back, her hands on her belly, and belched loudly with a contended smile on her face. She looked up at the changeling. So, bread, huh? she mumbled, What's the deal with that? What does it even taste like? Seems kind of... dry, to me.

A mad grin spread on Ryūs lips as the cooks finally brought the dragon her meal. They came through the kitchen door in procession; the first two carrying the roast pig on a spit between them, then three more, each carrying a tray with grilled chickens. Last came the head chef with her personal plate, three feet across, and a jug of her beloved hot sauce. They put the food in front of her, covering the entirety of her table and a bit of an adjacent one, and the five cooks offered curt bows before returning to their stations. The head chef remained, meeting Ryūs hungry gaze with a raised eyebrow.

Chef, Ryū said, nodding at the man.

"Dragon" the chef said in return.

Will you tell me the secret ingredient? Ryū tried, as she had so many times before, her eyes narrowing.

The man didn't flinch, "No."

Ryū gritted her teeth, snarling. And if I offered you gold? Or if I threatened to eat you? she said, her voice a venomous hiss.

In another age, this man would have been a hero famous for his bravery. He simply folded his arms over his chest, whispering a single word: "Never."

Fine! Ryū exclaimed, denied once more. Then pour! One day she would have it.

The head chef nodded calmly, then proceeded to upend the jug of hot sauce over the expanse of grilled meat, drenching it in sticky, fiery goodness. When he was done, he too offered a curt bow before returning to the kitchen. Ryū remained, sitting before her fleshy treasure, her previous grin returning. As she was just about to dig in, she spotted a newcomer in the center of the canteen. The... changeling, was it? Noticing the single little blueberry bagel in his hand, she nodded at him. Hungry? she chirped, and turned back to her meal. RAWR!~ the dragon roared, and dug in with both forks at once.
@Expendable Probably, yes! As for other dragons... In hiding, most likely? Or busy infiltrating human society, as Ryū aims to.
Anybody up for some shenanigans with Ryū? 😀

It was dark in the depth of the dragons lair, the kind of suspenseful dark that made the hairs on your neck stand on end. A slow rythmical rumble echoed in the cavernous hall as the beast breathed in its deep slumber, followed by wheezing gusts of scorching exhales. Only a single point of faint light could be seen in the opressing darkness: a great eye of glowing ember, unblinking, fixed on the direction of the entrance. It was an ability her kind had developed ages ago, to always sleep with one eye open. The treasure won't guard itself, as it were, and less careful wyrms had lost lots of valuables to sneaky would-be heroes in the past. Ryū was not one of them. She was careful, paranoid almost, and the few adventurers that had tried her had all gone up in flames. Keeping a respectable pile of treasure was a point of honor to her kind, and she guarded hers jealously.

As the dragon suddenly stirred, the hoard rattled and rustled with scattering coins and baubles. Ryū blinked and smacked her maw, stretching her tail and wings as she started to wake. She yawned audibly, the roar causing the walls to shake, and finally got up on her feet. She shook herself to dislodge any treasure still stuck to her belly, and then began towards the revolving doors of her chamber. As the dragon had climber off the great hoard, it muttered a short phrase in arcane draconic, and was immediately engulfed in a thick red cloud of magical energy. When the cloud dissipated, the dragon was no more; in stead, there was a red headed girl with a sleepy look on her face. She entered the secret compination on the door, and stepped out into her apartment through the revolving fireplace.

Having gotten some clothes on, Ryū pondered what to do next. Her belly answered her enthuastically by rumbling, and so she decided to go have a snack in the canteen in the main building. There was a restaurant in her complex too, but they had this special hot sauce in building 1 which she had become addicted to. Plus, they had gotten used to her there by now, and usually had food prepared for her in advance. She was quite the glutton, after all. At least by human standards. Passing the reception, she shot a toothy grin and waved at Theris. 'Sup, gorg'! she barked as she walked on by, See you around!

Finally settling in the restaurant, she exchanged glances with the head chef before sitting down. He nodded in understanding, getting a few cooks together to start preparing her meal. They would need a few people to carry it to her table, after all. Now, eating in her human form had initially posed somewhat of a conundrum for Ryū. As a dragon, she wasn't much schooled in the subtle art of table etiquette. Rather, she preferred to just rip into her prey with teeth and claw after having given it a proper scorching. She had quickly found, however, that her way of eating was a bit frowned upon in civilized circles and, wanting to blend in, had had to compromise in some regard. Ryū had taken to using cutlery, but not in the standard way; she liked to use two forks, symbolizing in her mind the claws she lacked as a human, and would always have her meat barbequed to a crisp. Then, there was the hot sauce. How she had come to love it! Not only did it look good on the food, but it made it taste as if it was burning. Ingenious! All this thinking on food had her belly rumble again, and her mouth watered. She sat staring at the kitchen door with her unblinking predator eyes, just waiting for the moment her roast pig and grilled chickens would finally come out to meet her, knuckles white from grasping her dual forks.
Should be able to get an intro up in a few hours!

@Expendable@CitrusArms Thanks! It's a long thread, so it gets hard to find info sometimes.
@Dragonydas Are we waiting to fill out all the rooms before starting the game, or is there some other plan? No rush, of course. Just wondering.
