I find doing the whole meet-&-greet thing slows down the RP, so we're skipping it.

That's a good question, Crimson. I suppose I'll go with card games and the small handheld video games. That way only those invested in it would know what they were signing up for during the contest. No need for a info dump or anything. Characters like Tai and Davis weren't created in our AU, nor did any of the World or Story games come to fruition. Maybe a super-rare manga or two was made... maybe. With the caped Tai Yamagi in it.

Heads up, I rarely like doing big rps and I'm content with the four I've gathered during the interest check. Unless one of them proves incompetent or wishes to drop, you'll probably not be chosen. I'll still review your CS just in case though.

@Riegal Approved, Riegal. She's a fireball, make sure she lands in the character tab.
@SleepingSilence Approved. From what I've read, Asher is more than acceptable. Once you're done polishing him up, inform me of any important changes and if nothing drastic has changed slide him into the Character Tab.

@Altered Tundra I suppose the Ultra-level Digimon (Super Ultimates) are a no-go. Besides them I'm fine with whatever. 'Long as it makes sense you can have all the forms of Dracomon, just don't have Examon popping out of nowhere for no reason lol. As for age groups I suppose (14-19) will do.
@Crimson Flame You can have Salamon. And your characters can literally be from anywhere. Mr. M opened the contest up to the entire world.

Giving a heads up that my character is a goggle-boy though not the defacto Leader. It could be either of us, in fact we might have an arc dedicated to fishing one out. lol.

In this Digimon AU, the human world has advanced into the Digital Age, abbreviated as D.A. for short. Its the 62nd year of the Digital Age and an important figure has announced a new opportunity for those brave enough. This mystery CEO of Re:DigiWorks, known only as Mr. M chose five contestants out of literal millions to participate in his Project F. He's never divulged who they were or his reasons for choosing them to the public though it became apparent that they'd be in for a special trip. The chosen ones had one thing in common, on the 6th of December they all had packages arrive in their names. Inside said package was a cloud-white Digivice tucked in styrofoam, that upon touching transports them to the Digital World. More specifically to a place named Digi Town. It was here that they came face to face with the notable DigiDestined: Taiga.
He explains everything in his own way. Letting you special four know you're the Alpha DigiDestined; chosen heroes to undergo training and become Digi-natives. He let it slip that essentially you're beta testers of this new system.
Soon afterwards you are presented Digi-eggs that hatch upon being in your presence. You are corralled with your new partners to the Arena where you finally come face to face with Mameo; who till this day still holds tightly to his Digi-egg. He gives a short speech on the importance of choice. Letting you all know you're not hostages, however you had signed contracts when you signed-up for Project F. Frankly you have a year to decide whether to stay or leave. A year to learn, to train, and see the good you could do.
A year to become Fighters for the Digital World.
