I originally had planned for this post to be a double feature, so to speak, with a lengthier second half that directly tied into the first. I think, though, both due to time constraints tonight as I wrote and pacing concerns, it'll be better served as a separate post. This means, I hope, that I'll finish it and get it up quicker than is usual for me. Of course, for me, quicker than usual could mean two weeks from now.

On a side note, my posts that carry the simple "GREEN ARROW" title card at the top denote posts written outside of Oliver's point of view but within the GA narrative. Posts with the arrow emblem indicate those written with Oliver at the helm. Since I've decided to write Oliver in the first-person past tense, that should help prevent confusion or uncertainty when I switch to third-person omniscient past tense POVs in separate posts.

Anywho. Posted. After repeatedly lying about when I'd do so as promised.
Call me a senior citizen, because I have a hard time getting it up.

[Insert excuses here]; new goal is tomorrow after I return from work. I'm beyond the deadline at this point, so I should technically be moved to inactive. I already know what the contents of the post will be, I've had that planned out since the start, but I've found it more difficult than anticipated to carve out a solid chunk of time to type it out and edit. The latter is what takes up the majority of the required time. I do have the beginning of the post already completed; it's the expositionary bits that need to be worked on.

Anyway, just giving an update on my failures and repeated false promises. Still intend on being a part of this and getting a post up ASAP.
I just never post. I make empty promises, instead. Fewer things to edit that way. It's a trustworthy process.
Also, the new ETA for a post is Friday/Saturday. Tuesday didn't go as planned, and both today and tomorrow are full of afterschool programs/meetings. By the time I get home from work, I'm more focused on relaxing for the two or three hours I have before I need to sleep. I'll try to do two this weekend to make up for it - no promises, though.

The school year ends in three weeks, and with it so do my teacher responsibilities - at least until Summer school begins. After that, I'm much freer to write.

Thanks for pointing that out. I have a really bad habit of skipping words when I'm writing, and sometimes my brain causes me to miss them again when giving a post a look over. But yeah, I indeeded the Hulk.

The number one editing trick to catch these sorts of things is to verbally read your post out loud. When reading in your head, your brain autocorrects things without you realizing and you're bound to miss mistakes. Reading out loud allows you to hear each word and syllable so you can notice when something doesn't sound correct, and then can fix it accordingly. I can confidently say that doing that will catch 99% of all errors made during the writing process.
Issue #3 is now live and I have officially beaten my previous record for my longest Question run by... One post (if you count the sample post).

Promise I'll ease off the philosophical musings now that I've actually reached the part where the plot kicks in.

Wait, we're expected to write more than a single post?

Shit.
Yesterday was the birthday, today is illness. Tomorrow I'll get started on a post? That's the current idea.
I believe he meant that her codename as an assassin be Black Bat. A name she 'shuns' when she walks away from that life. But I could have misunderstood.
Plenty of locales across both Marvel and DC to hang your boots up in. I wouldn't be too worried about trying to establish yourself somewhere major or in place of another character. The story you tell matters more than the place you tell it.
Damn, I need to make my own gl corp asap. How does asteroid G sound?

Ask their respective players. For instance, MB is in charge of Rhino.
