@Rin It won't help much. I'll tell you this much, first contact and the Grunts have Stage 2 and Stage 3 Evo's.
That seems, uh... I mean why? ^^; It seems kind of excessive really, and I'm not entirely sure what kind of tone you're going for or how character progression is going to be handled now. Since I kind of went with a rookie trainer so they could, well, develop as the RP went on and all. ^^; I was kind of working with the example character you posted in mind, since I assumed that was the kind of level we were supposed to be starting at, but if the villain team are using endgame stuff from the getgo I don't even know what's going on anymore.
I mean that's about it really? ^^; I mean she's a Pokemon trainer, they're just Pokemon she caught, there's no deep narrative regarding it. I wanted to keep her backstory short because she's young and hasn't really done much yet; the personality is really the more important field for this character anyways I guess. And I was originally only going to give her the Drifloon, but then you mentioned that the villain team were apparently pretty hardcore so I just bumped it up to include two I was planning on having her catch later anyways and yeah.
And here we go. Not entirely sure if she'll be a trainer or a coordinator, so I guess I'll see how things work out and if we have too many of one she'll become the other I guess? ^^; Anyways, hope this works.
Personality: Morta is rather cheerful and talkative, although this is partially because she's also a little shy and has a tendency to babble incoherently when she's nervous. Still, she's easily excitable, especially when it comes to the occult and especially when it comes to ghost-type Pokemon. As expected from a Hex Maniac in training, Morta has something of an obsession with the ghost-type, thinking them to be the most wonderful and adorable Pokemon of them all... Even to the point of either ignoring some of their more sinister traits or simply claiming that they're just part of their charm. Really, she has some rather questionable tastes, with a love of low budget movies, trashy comics and loud music made by people who seem almost as obsessed with the occult and supernatural as she is. Morta has a tendency to believe the most absurd and out there things without any real evidence, acting more on faith and passion for the paranormal rather than any kind of scientific or logical reasoning.
History: Morta comes from a long line of Hex Maniacs, those obsessed with the occult and who believe that all the mysteries of the world have an answer... Just that these answers are related to the supernatural and often fly in the face of accepted science. Still, these... How shall we say, eccentric seekers of truth are determined to prove that magic, aliens, time travel, other dimensions and other paranormal activity are in fact real. Morta is still in training, however, and quickly learned as she grew up that simply knowing that the truth was out there wasn't exactly a profitable career path. After all, her mother had taken to selling Moo Moo Milk (rather enthusiastically, too) to help pay the bills, whilst her father didn't seem to believe as much as she did. But she knew that if she uncovered something big that changed our understanding of everything, then maybe the path of the occult wouldn't be so ridiculed by those so-called "scientists" and she could actually make a career out of it. Thus, using the Team Flare incident as an excuse to set off on her own journey (after all, no matter which region she went to it wouldn't have as many genocidal hipsters as Kalos), she convinced her parents to allow her to travel to the Viore region, one rich in ruins and legend, where she just knew she'd uncover something...

Hmmm, well with that new bit of info... Since I'm making a Hex Maniac a ghost-type is probably the way to go, but I don't think Giratina fits them so probably either Hoopa or Marshadow maybe? Hmmm. But we'll see how things turn out I guess.
@SpannerYeeeaaah most of the monsterboy designs I seem to have fit at least two out of three of those criterea. Might end up a bit too ~*~magical realm~*~ even for a monstergirl RP. D:
Man oh man I was thinking of actually using a guy for once but then I realized that most of my monsterboy designs wouldn't be appropriate for various reasons. XD But I'm sure I can figure something out, and if all else fails I have about eleventy-billion monstergirl designs lying about I guess. Hmmm...
