Axel Ryder and Faraday

A bit further down the beach, Axel groggily began to rise up. The sudden sunlight piercing through his safety goggles caused him to slam his eyes shut. Removing the goggles, Axel slowly re-opened his eyes as they adjusted to the new light. Before suddenly waking up on a random beach, he'd been on his back working on the wiring in an arcade cabinet at Brewer's. The last thing he remembered, Faraday had been pulling his leg, shouting for him to pull his head out of the machine. Axel had done so just in time for a portal to swallow up the duo and drop them... wherever they were.

"Oh crap... Faraday?!" Axel worriedly looked around the beach for his partner when he saw the Elecmon trapped with his head buried in the sand. Upon hearing Axel's voice, Faraday's legs kicked furiously in the as as if to free himself. "Hang on, buddy. I got you!" Dashing over, Axel struggled to pull the 80-pound Digimon out of his sandy prison. Eventually, the sand finally gave way and Axel lost his balance as Faraday fell on top of him, "Ugh... we really need to cut the ramen out of your diet, Faraday. I think you're getting too heavy for me."

"I can't help it if the noodles are tasty, Axel! Besides, if you really want me to stop eating it, then you need to stop buying it." Axel reluctantly conceded the point while Faraday sat up and took in their surroundings, "It's strange... I don't think we've been here before, but this place feels familiar somehow. Do you recognize it?"

Looking around, Axel really didn't have a clue. He hadn't been to a beach in years, and certainly had never visited one that had bright pink sand, "No. I don't think we're in Brewer's anymore, buddy. Hmm... Maybe those guys know something?" He noticed the group of kids gathering down on the beach. Strangely they all seemed to have a partner just like Faraday only theirs' were: a talking rock, a pink puppy, a frozen lizard, and... Axel really didn't know WHAT that thing with the little kid was. Faraday nodded his agreement and the duo began walking down the beach to join the rest of the group. As they approached, the talking rock had just introduced itself as Arthur, and the human with him as Trent.

"Uh... I don't think WE can answer that question," he said as Arthur asked about their location, "Last thing I remember, my partner Faraday and I got sucked into some weird portal." At the mention of his name, Faraday perked up and smiled at the assembled crowd.

"Hey there! I'm Faraday! While I would also like to know where we are, I'm also concerned about getting food. Axel and I were supposed to grab lunch before we got sent here, and I'm pretty hungry!" As if on cue, Faraday's stomach growled loud enough for all the assembled members of the group to hear. Axel put a hand on his forehead.

"Always thinking with your stomach first huh, Faraday...?"

Pokémon Horror Stories [MxF] 18+

Hello all. Making this the first interest check to see if there's any interest in this sort of concept. Simply put, I think the Pokémon world is rife full of some horror-esque material and I want to take advantage of it! Some of these involve original characters, while others will use established ones from the franchise. It goes without saying that a lot of these stories will feature adult themes and very dark source material.

DM me or reply about any of the stories you'd be interested in! Will add more if this picks up!

Distorted Views:

Sometimes, you really shouldn't dive headfirst into an unexplored cave. That's the lesson that Sinnoh Champion Cynthia learns the hard way when she decides to explore the famous Turnback Cave ruins. While, reading an ancient spell on the wall, a portal rips open and the lord of the Distortion World, Giratina, appears! The godlike Pokémon is still sealed in the cave however, and he wants to break out. He just needs... an apostle.

The Tower:

Two children in Lavender Town want to pay respects to their Growlithe that passed. In order to do so, they'll need to scale the Pokémon Tower and combat the ghosts that live within. Unfortunately, the ghost-type Pokémon are less than enthusiastic about their rest being disturbed. As the children ascend the tower, they soon realize that not only are they being watched; they are unable to leave! Now their only hope is to climb to the top of the tower and survive the onslaught of ghosts who wish to have the two remain with them... forever.

What Lies Beneath:

When an deepsea probe goes missing in the Hoenn Region, Pokémon Rangers Kellyn and Luana are sent out to see what became of the probe. What they find down there is a deepsea trench filled with dangerous Pokémon. After a nasty run in with a pack of Sharpedo, the duo are forced to abandon their damaged submarine and swim for their lives! Will they make it to the surface before their air runs out? Or will there be more horrors awaiting them down in the trench?

@antiquity Understandable. What I meant was that Hosts have the ability to resist the Sins on a day to day basis (I.e. the Sins attempts to torment/convince their Hosts into releasing them). Calling upon the Sin’s power is the Host sort of actively tapping into or stealing power from the demon. It grants them power, but it’s a double edged sword that causes some form of ‘payback’ from the Demon. So yes it does have negative consequences, but it’s typically for just the Host.
