Bio

E V I L S C O T T I S H G U Y

So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Active Roleplays:
Ultimate One Universe: Emergence - by @Master Bruce and @Sep

Roleplays I miss:

One Universe: Unlimited - A Marvel/DC Comics Roleplay by @Master Bruce

Absolute Comics by a load of people.

Exaron is an unassuming world in the outer edge of the Galactic Mid-Rim. A mining, production and agricultural world. Formerly a Separatist aligned world it lasted as a holdout, it refused the stand down order at the end of the war and its spirit was quickly broken by the new Imperial Stormtroopers. Since then Governor Perdita has held an iron grip on the system, her antique Venator Star Destroyer sits diligintly in orbit protecting her shipping lanes and her people from pirates and insurgents. It is a time of peace, and prosperity - for those willing to toe the line and do as the will of their Empire.

That all changed when a lone Y-Wing entered the system, the Rebel and former ISB Agent Tyrell Omi-Ren had escaped Bastion with intelligence on Imperial double agents within various rebel cells throughout the Galaxy, damaged and beaten he subsequently crashed on the surface of the planet.

Imperial Forces arrived first, but not before he managed to send out a call over unencrypted channels calling for help. Stating the importance of the information he had, within the day two Imperial Star Destroyers entered orbit and the planet was locked down tight. The embers of war, have come to Exaron.

Fires of Exaron is a Roleplay set in the Star Wars Universe. A custom planet in the midrim of the Galaxy, I'm hoping for more players to be Rebels/Unaligned but I am willing to allow Imperials depending on how it's written.

There's not much else to say here. I'm aiming to run things a bit differently than usual. Rather than playing a PC myself I'm going to solely play the role of Gamemaster. I will push and progress the story using NPCs helping react to what you are all doing in order to keep the story moving.

This isn't very much for an OOC, but sometimes you keep it simple.

Any questions, give me a shout. Or ask me here?

The Nameless

"The honourable thing for the weak is to not drag down the strong."

Government Form: Religious Matriarchy

Population:
5 Billion of the Nameless.

What is humanity?:
Humanity is a spit in the face of the Gods. They have spread like a cancer, and they desecrate the stars with their presence.

---

Planet/System Name and Description:

  • Star: A Red Giant that bathes their planet in a warm red light.
  • Lava World: A dwarf planet, only the hardest materials on the surface are not turned to molten slag.
  • Desert Planet: The atmosphere of the planet has long since burned away, leaving the planet a barren desert wasteland.
  • The Homeworld: The Humans called the planet Exodus. The Nameless however have not named it. It has five moons of varying sizes.
  • Gas Dwarf No more needs said.
  • Gas Giant No more needs said.

Demographics:

The Nameless are made up of differing castes of Bipedal creatures, with four arms and a lone AI.

The population is 80% Male, 20% Female. The Males skin are typically green/brown very 'ground' colours. Whereas the women are bigger, and their skins are mixes of blues/purples.

They have no robots/drones/droids, as they try to limit their use of heretical technology.

History:

BR - Before Reclamation
AR- After Reclamation

Culture and Society:

They are a matriarichal society. They value life above all else, afterall life was the gift from the Gods. This is why women are valued as highly in their society, they are the name givers. It is forbidden for those to name what is not their creation, which is why the species has no name.

Women, name their children. Shapers name their creations. It is the way off things, even their world is Nameless.

Other than the reverance for life, the three main pillars off their religion is the Eternal Reward, Great Nothing and the Infernal Damnation.

---

Governance and Politics: The Deacon is the leader, she has many underlings. Her words are the literal translation of the Gods, there is little room given for any political wrangling. To speak against the Deacon, is to speak against the Gods.

Technology Overview:

The Nameless use Organic based 'technology'. Rather than being constructed it is grown. Many of the species shouldn't exist, technically speaking, however they are in an abundance in the Homeworld. Some things they have struggled to replicate, have been working but still struggle to replicate the abilities of long range sensors and communications equipment. Instead they still use human technology that is interfaced with their own, maintained by the Tainted.

Their power systems, weapons and propulsion, all run off plasma.

Military Overview:

[hider=Navy]
Their navy is strong, however in many ways they rely on numbers more than any form of technological superiority. As their ships are grown they can be convinced and aided in healing, however even in the vacuum of space they still age. Old ships eventually struggle to perform functions that should be second nature to them, they also become bonded and attatched to their Mistress. No Nameless has ever lost a ship, and they themselves have not perished. Mistress and ship go down together.

The ships themselves seem to 'mourn' the loss of their mistress, should they die outside of battle. While they do have certain 'classes' of ships, each is slightly unique. Like all living things.

Will expand on this section as things go on.

I think the best idea I've heard so far is waiting till after Christmas.
Just to join in on this conversation.

I think as we get older time squeezes is all in different ways that does making it a little harder to run one of these.

I mean part of the downfall of momentum for this one is one of the shitty Co-Gms went and got married then had a honeymoon where they couldn't really post.

Didn't he know he had a game to help run?!

I agree with pretty much everything everyone else had said, trying to bring players together (geographically in-game), figuring out easy quick events and crossovers, less emphasis on solo storytelling.

I think the biggest one is trying to remove from ourselves the stigma that a short post is a bad post. Whenever I get a spare 30 minutes and I write a post I always end up sending it to two or three people cause I think it's absolutely horrible (and it might be), but atleast it's a post.

I mean realistically I think if you were to combine everyone's posts most of them would be about the same length.

End post length discrimination today. As my wife likes to say - size doesn't matter.

For clarity's sake, I do intend to continue my characters somehow (on my own or in the next one as applicable). I only posted earlier because I wrote the post today and thought it would be funny. :^]

Wraith was contemplating writing a post just because it would be funny
Just when I finally wrote something new in 14 months that wasn't phoned in or copy-pasted from a previous RP and get my upward writing momentum back this ends. Well, that's a shame. I'll be on the look out for what's next.

I do still feel bad for being unable to commit to Moon Knight earlier on, but it is like that sometimes.

Again. You guys are all free to continue, I just am not in a position to GM myself
@Pacifista is a strong independent RPer who don't need no GM.

Hey I said I'm not continuing. I didn't say you guys had to stop
