Bio

My Name is Shadow Daedalus, but I will accept pretty much any diminutive form you can come up with. I am active in the GMT Timezone, and I mention this to help coordinate posting times with others.

I like to RP things with fighting and grit, but chilled out RPs are good too. I'm a little out of practice, so my writing style falls anywhere between Low-Casual and High-Casual.

Wide range of tastes, like Sci-fi, Modern, Fantasy and Historical. This also includes a diverse range of Fandom content, especially Games and Anime.

I don't usually play more that three characters at a time, and I'm more comfortable as a male character, but I might try to expand more in the future, you'll have to wait and see...

Not very interesting, so feel free to ask me questions :D

@CadenGallic I got bored and modified my old 2nd year CSes into members of Venator's old group, as well as a fresh one based on the girl in his picture. Feel free to approve or deny them at your leisure. I left the Bios blank because they're not Lustre students, so I don't know if I need them.

@Eklispe Your turn to post :P
@vancexentan My characters are a little tied up in a conversation, so a timeskip would just throw things out of order... I'd suggest sending out a notification, makeing sure you tag everyone that's still playing
@Kyrisse@Ashevelendar Thanks, I'll let you know if I need some time

Interactions: Gun'tar @Ashevelendar(listening)

At the sound of a vaguely familiar voice, Kyras lifted his head to look towards the approaching Gargantu. He couldn't quite make out what he said from where he was stood, but it seemed to be directed at someone else, a follower or entourage perhaps? Moving close enough to hear the conversation properly, he recognised the Gargantu as a previous client of his. Gun'tar, if he remembered correctly, which meant that his little slave should be nearby as well. Kyras wasn't surprised to see the Gob, Reek, drag himself to his feet after being kicked in the ribs and follow behind his master, but a small part of him, a tiny thread of humanity he had tried to remove, tugged at him in pity for the faintest of seconds.

As Gun'tar spoke, Kyras felt a small amount of surprise when he openly admitted to being familiar with the services of Assassins. It was an almost an unspoken law amongst the rich and the poor alike that that was a topic that was spoken about in hushed tones, or not at all, yet he so openly admitted it... was he foolish or arrogant? Those that have employed assassins usually have something to hide, so it raises a flag against the Gargantu. As he finished his request, the assassin's suspicions raised again at the unspecified item he would like them to retrieve, the whole 'you'll know when you need to know' approach leaving a bad taste in his mouth. Regardless, he remained silent as he contemplated the pros and cons of the request.

Overall, Kyras was in agreement with the others about the usefulness of a guide, but he was also less eager to accept the task. His problem was not a moral one, like the elfan, but more in line with that of the shield-carrying Kil'garen. While he didn't care for the well being of Gun'tar should he receive the items he wanted, the fact it was an unknown object in an unknown area meant that the risks involved in its retrieval would be impossible to properly prepare for. This increases the risk towards the party, or more specifically himself. While Kyras wouldn't normally hesitate to throw someone else to the wolves to save himself, the explosive phylacteries within their hearts ensures a shared and mutual death should one of them fall.

Slightly irritated by the whole situation, he hung back from the group, not saying a word but also not hiding his presence, not that anyone would notice anyway. Leaning against the stones of the nearest wall, Kyras waited, curious to see where this would lead while his mind worked to make contingencies in case something adverse may happen.
@Ashevelendar I'll try to have something up in a few minutes but everything has been going wrong recently. I've had everything from problems with my bike to helping my friend though a personal tragedy

Using the allotted hour to good effect, Venator had done a quick but thorough maintenance check on his weapons, refilling Renegade's dust tanks and re-stocking on 7.62 bullets for the weapon, as well as .357 magnum rounds for Vulcan and a few dust grenades. Washing off the oil from his hands, he returned to his room to change into his combat gear and equip his weapons. He slipped Renegade onto his back on a tight sling, sheathed in sword mode with the weapon's handle over his right shoulder, and secured Vulcan to his left leg in its revolver mode with 6 dust grenades on his belt; 2 Fire, 2 Lightning and 2 Steam grenades, useful for making scolding smokescreens. Waiting outside his team's room for them to finish up, he lead the rest of team VALT down to the courtyard.

As soon as he stepped into the courtyard, Venator failed to restrain a quiet groan of frustration as he spotted the members of Team STAR, loud enough to be heard by his team members but far enough away that the other team that they couldn't overhear. While the concept of working with another team wasn't surprising, or even unexpected considering the scale of the wall, the idea of being stuck on a mission with Silas and the blond-haired racist was vexing at best. With any luck the girl in the raincoat and the guy with the classic aviator style outfit would be the saving grace of this unfortunate assignment... Deciding to be the better man, he nodded in greeting to the grey-haired leader of the other team before taking a second to evaluate the accompanying Professor Golem.

His confidence, stature and age gave the faunus leader an impression of an experienced huntsman, so it was a relief to have an instructor of his stature supervising their first mission as a team. He was curious to the man's fighting style, as he seemed to be more inclined to a more strength-based skillset, like greatswords or brawler style weapons, over a speed-based, such as a spear or rapier, but he might surprise the wolf-like boy. If he was lucky, he could observe how the man fights in person and use what he sees to improve his own style but the downside is that the situation would have to take a turn for the worse for the professor to step in personally, and that could mean serious harm to either him or his team, a thought that troubled Venator a little. Pushing the thoughts out of his head, he nodded to the large man in greeting.

"We're ready to get going whenever, Professor."
@vancexentan I'm still here, I'm waiting for @1Charak2 to post but I don't want to pressure them. My schedule's been pretty hectic with work and college anyway

In his room, Kyras slowly opened his eyes, his legs unfurling from underneath him as he stood smoothly from his kneeling position of meditation. It was a habit he had picked up a few years ago, and it helped him clear his head and focus his thoughts. Turning his head to look out of the window to see two of his unwilling companions standing where he could only assume was the meeting area, seeing as they had stopped and showed no sign of moving from that area. His attention was pulled away from the window as his door suddenly swung open, only for the guard to freeze in place as he realised which room he had entered, and that the owner of that room was standing with his back to him, his steel mask on the end table at his side. The guard's mind went into blind panic as several paranoid rumours surfaced in his mind, all involving torture and/or death. Kyras turned his head a little, not enough to expose his face but enough to acknowledge the man's sudden entry to which the guard stammered out a burst of quick apologies, but the assassin cut him off with a curt statement.

"You have 15 seconds to leave. Go, Now."

The guard didn't have to be told twice and bolted out of the room, the door slamming closed behind him as Kyras turned to fully face the door for a moment. He was aware of the rumours that had scared the guard, and for a brief second he was glad for them. Dismissing that train of thought, he collected his supplies for the journey in a small knapsack before he began to strap his weapons onto his person.

Two straps of throwing knives were secured to each leg at the thigh, 5 on each strap making for a total of 20 knives. Two 8 inch daggers were strapped to the underside of his forearms, a matching 18 inch short-blade sheathed behind his waist. Finally, he pulled his unique longbow onto his back, strapping a quiver of arrows onto each hip for ease of access. Letting his hands fall to his sides, his purple and navy blue cloak fell to cover the back and left side of his body, leaving only his right arm exposed from the front. With a single long breath, he grabbed his mask with his right hand and slipped it over his face before pulling his hood up to cover the rest of his head. Grabbing his bag, Kyras quickly strode out of his room without a second glance.

On his way to the meeting place, he passed by the Kil'garen Mage and the white-haired human male. While he was unfamiliar with the Mage, he recognised the other man as Luca Stormgrim, a skilled and effective killer under the employ of the Citadel. While he had very little direct contact with the man, Kyras held a great deal of respect for the man's skills, especially with his unusual choice of weapon. Despite this, he didn't stop to converse with the pair, instead offering a nod to the both of them in greeting as he continued on his way.

As he arrived at the meeting place, Kyras moved quietly and avoided attracting any much attention on instinct. He was largely disinterested in the conversation between the ginger-furred Kil'garen and the Elfan woman, instead opting to lean against one of the stone walls as he closed his eyes behind his mask and allowed himself to fall into thought. With any luck, they would be moving out soon so they could get this damnable task over with.
@CadenGallic That's all of us, so let's keep this ball rolling, eh? :)
