They say it's about the journey, not the destination. This is true of many things. Pizza delivery is not one of them.

TFW you know what you want to happen but the words aren't cooperating. Why is plot suddenly so much harder to write?

Bio

I am an adult, though I don't usually act like it. I'm a voracious reader, and not overly picky about books. I am artistic in a variety of areas, including music, drawing, writing, and sculpting. I have a minor obsession with dragons, and love the color violet. Fantasy is my preferred genre, be it past, future, urban...as long as it has a fantasy flavor to it. I also like scifi, mystery, and some horror. I am crazy, and I like tormenting my characters. But I don't bite...much. ^.~

@MorningStar1399

There's not enough metal for her to be an automaton. =P Alright, so she and Alexander have met but didn't really hit it off. She sees him probably as another social dandy, and that's not her cup of tea.

For Eudora I'm going to go with knowing of each other but no contact to speak of. Christopher is in the group with Victor Bennett (renown for wing innovations; now deceased) and Lucius and that lot (as is Alys, for that matter) so I'm sure Eudora knows plenty about their history in Hourglass City, but only Edison would have a reason for extensive contact. And Victor would be better able to have handled that than Chris.
@MorningStar1399 Derp I mathed wrong...by about a hundred years. She *is* 28, not...whatever the date I put makes her. Thanks for catching that.

She definitely has concealed weapons at all times. Perplexed is fine. Would he have come to chat with her?

Alyssana and Eudora probably have not crossed paths that much. The Greys are nobility but not highly ranked, and while they do have some interest in what the government is doing it's not a major one. They're primarily a scholar and researcher line, with a tendency toward eccentricity rather than insanity.

It is possible that the craftsman guild might be interested in one piece or another of the occasional pieces the twins craft together, but the two dont' seem super dedicated to crafting so that might not be the case.
@ayzrules@MorningStar1399 Eudora looks good to me. I think Alys would know /of/ her, but probably doesn't know her.

And I know I don't have to (save for the list of secondary chars that everyone seems to have?) but hnnng I kinda wanna. 'Cept I don't have any good ideas for who I should bring in, and I know secondary chars tend to refuse to let me make them leave....
@ayzrules so help me if I have to make another CS I'm gonna r i o t. I'll maybe make blurbs for people but I don't know that I wanna make another full char. Though I could maybe make Chris, but I doubt he'd be useful save as a background thing....

Wait who's Vincent? Oh right, doctory person.

@bloonewb it may well be that a char doesn't have many ties before the start of the rp. Certainly going to school at the same time as others does make a difference -- at 22 to Alys's 28, they would not know each other.

@MorningStar1399 Alexander and Alyssana did go to school at the same time, and we should figure out what interaction they've had, if any. At the least he'd know of her brother (and probably of her). I suspect he might have at least approached her to talk once or twice when she openly crashed Polytech classes. That seems like the sort of thing that'd catch his attention. I can't tell if he'd have any interest in a very awkward genius (Chris) or not, but I'm open to ideas.

@Mae Istara would be perfect, I think~
@Stern Algorithm it's definitely a form of irony, though I always get the various ones mixed up. I think as a bright student he would catch her eye, certainly if he turned up for one of her less formal lectures. I don't think she'd catch his nature immediately, but over time she might figure it out. She is very reluctant to share, but it's possible she's let him in on snippets. Most likely not the precise details, but enough. I could see a mentor/student relationship here.

Alys herself teaches history, but she's known to know a lot about myalo and automata, so he might have been curious enough to crash a history lesson? He might also be interested in her because her brother Christopher is a researcher in alternative automata that do not use myalo at all -- and known as something of a prodigy, if absentminded, eccentric, reclusive, and about as far from evil as you can get. Alys is the best way to gain access to Chris.

@Stern Algorithm If you wanna figure out if and how your char and mine know each other, I'm game~
*keeps writing frantically*

Have I mentioned that I hate CSes? because I do. -.-
@Mae I like that style. o.o It's fun, especially with the way you frame it!
