@Crossfire

I would definitely be down for a timeskip, yes
@pyroman

Better than having a character's will bleed into you, so you break the rules of the rp universe just to try and kill someone who one post ago it was agreed shouldn't be killed.

Heidi looked back into Shawn's eyes, though her eyes were strange and alien to him. Though there was no hate or will to murder in them, the was no sorrow, or desperation. If that man had been killed in front of her, she wouldn't have been sad or distraught. She did agree that if his death was obviously caused by a mutant, he'd become a martyr, and the work he's doing here should never be glorified. It's wrong. This can't be the ideal held by those who fear mutants. Like it or not, many people fear mutants, and won't stop because of a few good apples. But even they can be part of a system where everybody is happy, free and safe.

Once Chrys removed them from the suspended reality, Heidi went straight over to the President's desk, ripped open the locked drawers and pulled out all the files, stuffing them into his briefcase. She then logged onto to his PC (his username and password were written down on a piece of paper in his drawer) and set it to wipe everything. They couldn't kill him, but what's happening here cannot be allowed to continue.

"Once we free the mutants," Heidi spoke aloud as she did this, "They will kill the guards. There's no way to make mutants look like saints here. Because we're not. We're both as good and as evil as the rest of society. Mr. President, I trust you to put in a bad word for us. It'll make it easier for you to be ignored and written off when I make your deeds public and get this whole country to despise you. Thank you for the proof."
I'll get a post up tomorrow. Sorry. Been really busy moving back to my flat.

Kasuke Mina

Mina registered Donny's request to be called Donny, and Jett's crass 'you loved it' comment, though she didn't respond to either, and kept on eating. She noticed, though didn't find it odd, how Donny ate, knowing his true nature. Soon, Jett leaned in as she was eating and brought up her conversation with Dulga, asking if she was all right.

"I'm fine. Dulga brought up some points about teamwork and how she thinks I'll get myself killed if I don't change. My mom never needed backup to beat her enemies, so neither will I. If she didn't need the help of others, and I do, then what chance do I have of escaping my mom's shadow, if I can't even match let alone surpass her feats?"

One of the gang that Mina had thought were trouble then came up and asked them to move. Donny and Jett both gave replies that referred to Mina for the final decision. Mina, ego fueled by two boys looking to her as a leader, leaned over the table towards the young boy. There was not a single spark of humor or empathy in her stuck-up face, which she was making doubly stuck-up for effect.

"I like it here. I'm afraid your friends will have to sit apart. That's just life," she drawled, before she sat up a little and a dangerous glint flashed in her eyes. "But, before you go, I would like to ask you to go into more detail about my friend's claim that one of your associates called him a 'tard', if you please."

As Mina ate, she noticed the gang of students enter the cafeteria, none of which were in her class. One of them had bandages, so maybe they'd also had a training exercise of some sort. One thing Mina did decide is that she did not like the leader. That girl was trouble. She could tell.

Carrying on her half-interested scan of the school, she saw Jett dancing towards her. Dancing. She stopped eating and had to stare in stupefied silence at the sheer gall of this boy. Mina shook her head at him as he carried on dancing toward her, ever step of his bringing her one step towards her, but just setting one foot into her line of sight looking like that would be one step too close.

She didn't look at Donny when he started speaking to her, only turning to him when he'd finished, and beckoning to the seat opposite her, primarily so that Jett couldn't take it. The second reason so that there was a table preventing skin to skin contact. The last time they touched, Mina got stripped naked. Third on the ordered list of reasons was because she liked him.

"Of course, Darkmatter," she answered him, now watching the scene of Jett being confronted by the gang. Like she thought; they were trouble. When Jett joined them, Mina answered his question with "You're not bothering me anymore, now that you've stopped...I'd call it 'dancing' but I've seen dancing. That wasn't dancing. That was...dad-dancing"

She looked back at the 'Alpha' group as they walked off, catching the leader girl's eye and leering at her.

Mako Akane

Mako was carrying on processing the students when Sarge escorted two more into the building. Neither had opted for getting in by recommendations, and had already missed two classes. There was no getting around it; they were late. As Mako pulled out their papers and added them to the pile of students who were here, Sarge had let them go off for lunch. Well, she didn't need to speak to them, as long as Sarge knew the reason they were late, which she imagined he did. Mako leaned over the front desk and called Sarge over by his Hero name.

"Hey, Sarge. What's the given reason those two students are late? I need it for the paperwork."

In typical fashion, he gave her the answer, and as she wrote it down, he turned to leave. "Wait!" Mako shouted after him, her sparkling golden eyes now open and smile looking like something resembling genuine. "Want to go grab lunch together?" As she asked this, she discreetly hit the empty plate that had housed her salad. She didn't want him to figure out she'd already had lunch. That'd make her look a little thirsty, and admittedly, that thought embarrassed Mako. It was embarrassing enough being a secretary with a crush on the security. In fact, it was embarrassing enough being a former Supervillain attracted to a former Hero.

After returning from her dorm, Mina had to snap herself out of her funk in order to pay attention during general studies. Not that general studies was difficult, but she'd kick herself if she failed due to missing something on account of self-reflection. It was okay to not be the best yet, she had told herself. That's what she had enrolled at this school for; to learn how to become the best, and to train her mind and body for the task of being a hero. General Studies was too part of that.

Once the bell rang for lunch, Mina made her way straight there. After the fight earlier this morning, she needed to recharge and refuel her body, so she was naturally starving. Picking a selection of what was to her an ordinary meal, but would be a gourmet meal the likes of which unseen to most other students. Sitting down alone, she started to eat, with knife and fork, cutting off and eating dainty bites in the most bourgeoisie style of eating imaginable.

Mako Akane

The pile of paperwork considerably shortened during the last period, Mako was ready for lunch. She just grabbed a salad though. Most of her self-imposed daily calorie allowance was reserved for alcohol in the evenings. That was the biggest thing she missed in prison; a nice, cold beer at the end of the day.

She took the plate back to her desk so she could carry on working while she ate. After a few minutes, she saw a very familiar face; a third year student when she had first taken up the post; Aurelia Nakamiji. Older sister of current first year Acion, in fact, as well as accomplished hero and leader of a team! Mako shouldn't be surprised what the former student had managed to do in three years given how much she herself managed in six months, but nevertheless, she was impressed.

She was about to say hello when Jais entered, and immediately got a very warm reception from the former student. Mako sat there, smiling as usual, but secretly feeling pretty ignored, and pretty jealous. What was she, chopped liver? She watched the two of them, head off to lunch, then turned her attention back to her paperwork.

So, what Burning Kitty did is going to be canon, after that important speech about the morality of killing him if it might start a witch hunt?

ffs.

Next time Rose runs off to go punch sharks when we're waiting to start the fucking mission, I won't have my characters pander to her again.

Um, no. A mutant did not just kill the president. Edit your post.
