Kasuke Mina

Mina returned the handshake firmly, and didn't seem to be treating her any differently than anybody else in her actions, yet there was some kind of expression that lay between pity and caring in her eyes. When this girl replied to her in an icy tone, Mina couldn't help smiling and warming to her instantly. They had more in common that she had first thought, and though Mina did feel a little bit slighted, she found Haruka's mood to relateable to take any offense.

"I understand, and won't talk to you a second longer than I need to. I was just wandering about your history with Jett Haven. You both seem troubled after your conversation, as do I, and we're not going to rectify ourselves by sitting down alone and waiting for it to go away. Whether we end up as friends or you end up hating my guts, I do think it's important we talk."

Eilidh Chiron

Eilidh blushed profusely at Isabella's request, and shook her head. "I would not leave your companions behind unguarded, even if you are my mission. They may not be shown mercy. Besides, Centaurs are not Horses. We do not let humans ride upon us for multiple reasons. It is not offensive, though it is taboo, as it has...romantic connotations, shall we say. Fear not. I will hold them off from alongside you!"

With that said, Eilidh, still galloping forward parallel to the coach, Spun her human half round at the waist and readied her bow, aiming it at the closest knight. She refused to fire at the horse. It was not attacking her. It was just moving as it was told to. There would be no honor in killing the human by killing the horse. She instead fired right at the knight's helmeted face in the hope that if he didn't die, he'd at least flinch.

Eilidh Chiron

The moment Eilidh heard the horn, she slapped the side of the carriage twice and cantered to the driver's window. "Make haste to our destination without me momentarily! I will catch up after I have dispatched of this other knight before backup arrives!" Without waiting for a response, she wheeled back around to face the knight, sword held steady. As the knight charged, she charged to meet him, banked to the left to avoid his thrown lance without breaking her stride, and when they reached one another their swords clashed with a loud, ringing clang. Eilidh noted his strength and speed with a sword, but far from being worried, was pleased she was fighting a worthy opponent. Still, time was of the essence and the situation was too urgent for a true battle of honor.

Any any other time, she would have abhorred the idea of fighting dirty, but she had made a pledge to protect the party she had sent a head, and backup was arriving soon. Her honor to that pledge overrides her honor to her opponents. With a particularly strong swipe, she knocked the foe's blade away at the cost of not being able to deal any blows herself until they had both recovered their stances, however, she took one hand away from her sword and used it to pull her ceremonial dress aside, fully revealing her...sizable assets. With the Hell Knight most definitely distracted, even for a split second, She jabbed her sword single-handedly up into his neck, killing him instantly. Righting her askew dress to regain her modesty, she galloped back to the carriage as fast as her legs could take her, and as she did so, she sheathed her sword and readied her bow with an arrow. The backup would be arriving soon.

I'm not talking about the view that it was good, and still is important, I'm taking about the ridiculously widespread opinion than it's still better than every other game ever

I'm liking this fight now!
Rags watched as her for got closer and closer, but the savage never moved. She knew that he was still too far to hit, and if she undershot and missed, she'd be leaving herself open, even though she'd never heard the words 'leaving herself open' together before. She had learned a lot from this fight, including the knowledge that Aighrit, and possibly everybody else, often did two attacks at once. So this time, when he thrust at her leg, she moved her blade down to meet it and block the attack. That's when his sword, with a fast, minute movement, changed direction. But this time, she had been expecting something else to happen, and her had was kept free just for that eventuality, as when she swung with both hands she had more power but only one mean of both attack and defense. As the sword swung towards her unguarded side, she leaned in close to her sword and at the same time raised her free hand and twisted her arm so that the fairly underpowered swing would connect with her arm, which it did. It hurt, but it didn't take her arm out. That was when she grinned, this time a confident smile of a hunter who's just caught a rabbit.

Her hand moved down as the blade moved up, and she twisted her arm back around so that her grabbing hand was facing her foe. When the moment was right, it shot out like a snake and made a grab at Aighrit's wrist. If it managed to get a secure hold, then she would bring her sword back up, at attempt to jab his chest with the intent to wind him. If it failed to get a secure hold, and didn't change his own plans, then his sword would be coming right for her head and her arm snapped back to rest horizontally over her head. Taking two hard hits in so short her succession might hurt her arm, however, but this was a risk she was willing to take, as she'd learned from her foe and would now give him a taste of his own medicine. While her arm was moving to protect her head, she pointed her sword up at his chest and jabbed, with the intent to wind him.

Taleste, after clearing out, headed to her room but on the way, noticed that Lataniva was following behind her, hoping to talk. Ooh, progress! There was somebody who definitely didn't find her annoying! The mission went alright for Talese. She didn't get attacked, and the objective was completed. She didn't get to steal anything, though. It definitely lost marks for that.

"'Ey, Lataniva!" Taleste greeted. "Whutcha up to?"
@Liliya

I will try to post later, but if not, tomorrow for sure
@Crossfire

Anyone you got who'll be good with Taleste?
Heidi quickly turned to the front when Kurt teleported in, to make it look like she was paying attention. Though it was impossible for her not to pay attention, she was still focusing on many other things in her mind and this lesson as pretty far down the priority list. Heidi tried and failed to stifle a silent chuckle at Olinda's answer. She wouldn't answer until she was sure nobody else would. For all her improvements, she was still shy when it came to any public show of intelligence in the classroom. The other reason she did not answer is because she had no idea why it stood firm against time. Heidi was not American, and Hamilton was not about her history or culture. She preferred Les Miserables, but this lesson was not about Les Miserables, though thinking about her preferred musical gave her an answer. She cleared her throat.

"Because despite it's time period, it deals with themes, issues and characters that are still relevant and relatable today?"
