Appearance: Ryoko is a girl who in another timeline may have had something you could call a plain, understated 'girl next door' charm. As it stands, between her chubby figure, bags under her eyes and the little twitches in her body language that betray that she's just barely holding it all together, she is a girl more to be pitied that admired. Though not unapproachable, she is not somebody who gives the impression that approaching them would be very fruitful. She smiles in public often during interactions, but seldom genuinely.

Background: Ryoko was a bright and creative kid who loved technology. She got the best grades of her year in high school and went to college, working from home part-time as an IT support and administrator for a large company to pay the bills while she studied. Work and study quickly overtook her life, and to unwind she devited the rest of her free time to anime and video games. She lost contact with most if not all of her acquaintances and quickly started putting on weight. By the time she was in her third year of college, she was clinically depressed.
She kept telling herself that it would all be worth it. Two more years of this life and then she would be done with education, could quit her stressful, low-paying, high-responsibility job, and finally get full-time employment for better pay and start her career. The whole world was ahead of her. She could join a gym and lose all this weight, maybe even start dating for the first time ever. She just needed to finish college.
She continued to struggle, getting unhappier and unhappier. Her attitude at work began to suffer and she was fired after a very heated phonecall with some of the senior employees regarding their systems going down, which they had used her as a scapegoat for. She decided he had just enough saving left to get through college if she borrowed from her parents with the promise to pay them back.
She pushed through, and put her blood, sweat and tears into her dissertation. Only three months away from the deadline, where she would then be free, she was crossing the road one night, walking back from the library in a tired daze. A zombie on autopilot. She didn't see the crossing lights turn red....or the truck.
Appearance: Oriel, as a basic Fae, is noticeably small, standing just over two feet tall, and typically hovers to her conversational partner's head height rather than standing on their feet.

- When she's bored, or losing herself in a task, Oriel likes to hum tunes from various media from her old world. Mostly anime and videogame music
- Oriel doesn't need to follow 'the rules of the Fae' for any biological or magical reason, but still chooses to act as if the rules of the Fae are real. Despite not being able to make Faustian bargains, or gain power over anyone who tells her their name, she rigididly believes in 'a favour for a favour'.
