hello there, my name is constance! you can call me yen, ella, beth, Constance, whatever you feel like! I am an adult woman living on the west coast of the united states (get me out of here, please lol). unfortunately, I suffer from a lot of chronic illnesses that have pretty much made me a stay at home cat mom to my orange tabby, o'malley! I've been writing for over 15 years and I've been in search of a website that better fits my needs. So, hopefully, this place will serve as just that! I am a self-published author and am continuously working on trying to get published.

Hi, I'm new here, but not new to roleplaying! I mostly use my phone, so forgive my auto-correct. I'm a writer for the past 12 years, as well as a DM for D&D for the past two years. I mostly prefer original characters. I haven't been super into fandoms lately. I've been focusing more on myself and my own work. Although, I really don't mind playing in someone else's original work, too! Or even creating something together sounds fun.

Hiho, it is I!

Hey there, before I start anything I do want to say that it is definitely not mandatory to call me Triptophobinos (trip-toe-foe-by-nose) and that the nicknames Trip, Tripto, Binos, Phobi and so on work just as well as my actual username. Now I doubt this is the place to give my entire life story, so I won't, but I'll sure say that I am at least slightly familiar with this spot as I actually did have an old account that I can't seem to get rid of. I made it around half a decade ago though, so I felt incredibly disassociated to it. I've been doing a lot of Role-Playing on Discord, and frankly I do not recommend it. Sifting through trash to find a nugget of gold is the name of the game, there are good spots but don't hold your hopes too high. So I've effectively migrated here, I hope for warm welcomes.

It has been an incredibly long time since I had ever done a proper forum RP, do excuse me if I seem a bit air-headed with the nitty gritty in the site. I swear I'm a good listener! I just can't take too information at once.

Oh, another thing, if there are grammar mistakes or just generally weird lines, that is entirely my fault. It's around 1:40 in the morning as I post this and I'm feeling like spread butter. I hope my first impression wasn't horrible and I hope to play alongside you all.

I’ve had success with forum quizzes before! The approach just has to be tailored — it’s less instant and you have to make the questions more of a challenge.

I like to make them so difficult it takes multiple guesses :)))))

Hi Yevin,

Currently, quizzes, video game activities, and mini contests all seem to be popular suggestions.

We’re wanting to host activities that are in the spirit of the Guild and our community. I recently hosted a Movie Quiz on our Discord which was popular.

I understand however that a majority of our community doesn’t use the Discord, so I’m looking into ways that everything can be translated to fit the forum format as well.

The name's Zaika, or Bunny if you like. I'm a 28 year old transplant to Australia. I tend to keep atrociously inconsistent hours, so though I may be on GMT +10, don't expect that to matter much. As for my RP preferences, I prefer modern slice-o-life settings or near futurist settings. I also enjoy *ahem* those other kinds of RPs that usually crop up in 1x1 sections, but we can talk about that more one on one. I'm a giant weeb, and can also be incredibly random from time to time. Hopefully that doesn't get too cringe.
