Wishing a relaxing weekend for everyone. Take some time to be kind to yourself, to unwind, and to have some rest. <3

I ate a brownie once at a party in college. It was intense. I felt like I was floating. Turns out there wasn't any pot in the brownie. It was just an insanely good brownie.

No pressure but just letting you know, unless someone comes in directly engaging with Conor I'll just post after whenever you do.

I was going to let everyone get their post in before I went in for a reply, is all :)

It's a reference to the Soup Nazi from Seinfield. It's an old joke.

But one of the best!!!!
Oooh more posties! So excited to read!

I have been painting my character all afternoon too ^.^

Flying home after the wife's weekend family shindigs. Not to rough, they only hassle you if you've been overseas or through Perth.

Oh that’s good to know. A friend of mine left WA before the lockdown happened on Friday and they were just questioned a lot more when they landed in Sydney. Waiting to hear if there will be any extension over here now.
Finally landed back in Adelaide... I'll get caught up and look to finish up the post I've been working on.

Ooh, quite the weekend to be flying around down in our neck of the woods! Hope it was an easy one.

Oh my god look at all this content to read now! :> time for tea and reading!
@Stormflyx so I'm double posting as I wanna talk about two things.

First) I don't know if you're actually Scottish living in Australia or if you've visited but I really like how you're capturing the essence, I myself can read it in a scottish voice which is not something I often get seeing people play someone Scottish. I mean there's some slightly different word choices but I'd expect that.

Second) I really like how you are describing the scene without so much relying on her visual senses, while you're making it clear she does have some 'element' of sight you're giving us a very much Eilidh perspective which is very tactile. I've seen people attempt to RP blind people and they've always still described scenes as you would visually.

So Bravo Madame. Looking forward to seeing some more.

I’m actually a geordie living in Australia. I’ve spent a lot of time in Scotland and would consider myself a plastic scot haha. With the lingo, it’ll be better with time as I write more and find her voice a bit. But, that is very kind of you to write that so thank you very much 💜
@Sep

Great post dude!

I really like how much you showed us of Conor's inner thoughts, it was a nice opening to him as a character and said a lot while still leaving some intrigue for later. There was an almost macabre energy to it, and I love how you have carved out this little nook for him in a tech-heavy setting that feels so much more classical and fantasy-esque. It really adds to his characterisation and builds on his aesthetic.

Similarly too, @Hillan also a solid opening post. You've started carefully laying down some foundations for the mystery of Julian's character, and you made his character feel very distinct in a post which was really just about establishing the setting for the roleplay. I really like that I've got such a clear image of Julian and his mannerisms. I'm really interested in just what those thoughts and memories were about.
Did we arrive at a definitive list?

Edit: Else I'll make one when I sit down to finish my end of Julian's relationships.

I'm not sure, I think Eilidh could go somewhere in the middle-ish though, closer to the earlies.

I've just about spoken to everyone regarding relationships now. <:
