Question, how wasteful is Graft and his chapter? I ask because materialism, commercialism, and consumerism are often defined by a sense of wastefulness, ie. discarding a perfectly good iPhone 9 for the new iPhone 10, or even worse, the very concept of engineered obsolescence. I want to make my character's chapter a prettified garbage dump, a Toyland that collects unloved and unwanted things and pretties them up, giving the illusion that they are loved and wanted. A crapsaccharine land of abandonment and resentment, mostly for inorganic and non-living materials that get turned into dolls and things. Or is Graft and his chapter highly efficient and resourceful, finding a use for anything and everything, and always finding ways to recycle broken or unused components?
