Forgot to add the pirate champion's pic. I've added it in the previous update. Although, he's not just a pirate champion.

We were getting our asses handed to us by a frickin' Medabot!
Salem is actually a doable boss battle that requires perseverance, endurance, and lots of healing, or using one of their hard counters, of which Graft has one (his item that destroys other items would wreck Salem by specifically targeting Salem's item durability mechanics), but any class that focuses on breaking items, as long as they can survive Salem's onslaught, would be a major threat to Salem.
MillAgros-TR-17 Hyouka

@PaulHaynek

Seeing Camille join the fray made Hyouka feel that her little pep-talk earlier was redundant, and perhaps a little unnecessarily judgmental. The hope of pushing back the pirates momentarily appeared before being obscured by the appearance of the green pirate ace. Too focused on fulfilling her tactical objective, Hyouka had been unable to defend herself when the green robot lunged at her, only for Hyouka to be saved by Camille's support fire. But now Camille had engaged the ace in melee, and there was no one available to support her against the superior onslaught. Hyouka couldn't fire at such close proximity, not onl ybecause the enemy machine moved to quickly for Hyouka to get a bead on them, but too many of her allies would be caught in the collateral of her blasts. There was only one, stupidly desperate thing Hyouka could think to do. From her position on top of the toppled truck, Hyouka sidled towards the edge and lifted her heavy cannon over her head. She watched and waited for the fight between Camille to approach beneath the shadow of the truck and for a moment when Camille would make a good strike, or at least one good enough to distract her opponent. When such an opportunity presented itself, or whenever Hyouka felt Camille's situation became too desperate to wait any longer, Hyouka would leap from the truck, swinging her tw-handed cannon down like a bludgeon backed up by the full, falling weight of her ensemble, hoping to either deal a disabling blow, or create an opening for Camille to finish the fight. It was stupid, it was reckless, and it was a gross misuse of her weapon.
Yeah, sorry. I just now read Irish's post. What are your thoughts on the possibility that Dr.Drd, who clearly has a thing for automatons, wanted to renovate Chapter 5? It fits because Dr.Drd did simply disappear from the game. Before he left he might have been obsessively criticizing Ivonbraids' shoddy item sort code and wanted to 'fix' it. Which could mean that Salem has a clue for the password. Unless of course, you already have plans in place.
@Xaltwind

Is COIN's password still in effect after the game ended? Because after Salem's interaction with Graft, the doll will have reason to remember Isolde and attempt to awaken her.
Is Salem a little shit?

Yes, yes they are.
Salem Vicarious, Lord of Lost Things

@Lugubrious @Archmage MC

Salem looked on in enraptured curiosity as Graft handled and ultimately revealed Penn's third creation. Graft's request seemed unusual to Salem, whose eyes ran over the bruised and battered form before them, finding nothing unusual about it. Creators built, used, abused, and abandoned their creations; this was an axiom of existence, Graft's denial of which surprised Salem. But the doll remained quiet, silently agreeing to Graft's oath of secrecy. But if Salem were in Graft's shoes, Salem would immediately act to dispose of the Nightgaunt. After all, due to the level of abuse and being locked in a private room, it was clear to Salem that this one had been Penn's favorite, and Salem couldn't abide anyone or anything challenging their position as the favorite. In Salem's eyes, this creature had the potential to usurp Graft, especially if Rodias was overcome with a desire to preserve and uplift things that were particularly close to the other Sable Lords. Salem said nothing, seeing the level of care Graft poured into his newfound 'sibling', but Salem felt that this foolish sentimentality was unbecoming of the crafty and business-minded director.

Salem's eyes widened as Graft launched into a soliloquy on the infinite possibilities of progress, realizing that Graft was actually excited about the idea of uplifting this creature to equal himself and the other Chapter Keepers. At first, Salem approved of the idea of Graft tearing into his sibling, finding out her secrets, and improving his own knowledge-base, but balked when he stated his desire to apply that knowledge to help her grow. Even Graft's final statement of using that knowledge to help himself and the others to develop wasn't enough to offset the fact that Graft was willing to enable his potential usurper. Of course, Light's proximity was definitely making the more insecure and paranoid voices in Salem's head particularly loud.

But when Graft asked for a name and clothes, Salem spoke up, "That's not exactly fair. You've already asked us both for the favor of keeping mum, and now you're asking for free clothes and a name? As a businessman and an engineer, don't you think you should offer something for compensation? After all, 'something for nothing' is not exactly a very good economic, nor scientific principle. You wouldn't want Light or I to 'accidentally' spill the beans would you?" Salem giggled at the obvious attempt at blackmail. "I'm joking of course, but I think that you could at least offer Light one of the things she requested earlier at no cost, in return for the favor of silence, and for a name. Whereas I have no short supply of dresses, if you think Gothic Lolita is her style. In fact, I can grant you and her access to my entire wardrobe if you can't decide whether you want to dress her up as a boy or a girl, or something in between." Salem smirked at the idea of Graft using the Nightgaunt as a plaything and humiliating her with embarrassing outfits. Perhaps doing so would move him away from any thoughts of developing her. "As for compensation for me... I can't think of anything right now, so we'll just compound favor on top of favor. Perhaps I'll cash it in at a later date..." Salem floated into a reclining position and yawned nonchalantly, while inside, the doll was enjoying the possibility of indenturing Graft, not because Salem wanted or needed anything in particular from the director, but merely because Salem enjoyed exerting power.
Vivian & Sylvia Altissima

@Restalaan @PaulHaynek @13org @ShwiggityShwah

When Ditzy offered to push the sisters' cart, a look of exasperated disdain crossed Sylvia's face, before she promptly got an elbow in the ribs from Vivian. The big, muscular Ditzy totally wasn't Sylvia's type, especially since she was currently infatuated with Neil and wanted him to push the cart. Fortunately, Neil declined Ditzy's help, and the journey passed, with Sylvia in muted bliss. Arriving at their worksite, the sisters listened as the ratty Forde explained his job for them. Sylvia rolled her eyes at the fact that Forde thought any amount of riches could make him like Neil.

"Sounds simple enough," Vivian replied, the liliraune extended her roots through the drainage holes at the bottom of her clay pot to push against the ground and navigate her cart over to a spot between two gravesite. With Vivian looking at one grave, and Sylvia at the other, they focused the roots and vines on the respective sides to burrow into the soft earth, and began digging with an almost magical efficiency. A loud hollow thump was immediately followed by Vivian saying, "What the...? Oh... these are those... coffin things." The liliraune couldn't understand the point of coffins as they only slowed the process of the body returning to the earth and becoming fertilizer, which the sisters thought was the whole point of burial in the first place. But at this point, the sisters recognized that there was something sacred to graves, and decided against using their roots to smash open the coffins. "How about we dig, and the rest of you can check the coffins? Of course, we can move the dirt back in at the end too." Sylvia suggested, assuming that there was a 'proper' way to open a coffin, allowing it to be easily re-closed. It was probably better to let the meatsacks deal with this part of the extraction, while the sisters focused on the soil. Sylvia and Vivian moved their cart between the next pair of graves and continued their work.
