I'll be going on a two week vacation starting tomorrow and don't know how often I'll have Internet access. Thank you for your patience. I'll try to be more regular when I get back.
"Ah, the cookies aren't quite available yet," Sylvia replied to Kira, "Our nectar is too potent to use by itself, and needs to be alchemically counterbalanced with other herbs. That's mostly what the greenhouse will be used for."
Afterwards, the sisters made their way to the kitchen. "We're making pies, pastas, and pastries!" Vivian exclaimed excitedly in response to Bart's inquiry. As a baker, these were her specialties, and to a degree, the limits of her repertoire. Hopefully no one was on a carb-free diet. However, the minor awkwardness that occurred between Bart and Neil made the sisters, especially Sylvia, visibly uncomfortable.
"Hey Bart, I know we haven't been here for very long, but are you planning on keeping Neil in the Guild?" Vivian asked, though this question prompted a swift punch from Sylvia. "What I mean is," Vivian said sharply, rubbing her upper arm where she was hit, and shooting Sylvia daggers with her eyes, "He's a part of this Guild, isn't he? Sylvia and I don't always get along, but we make up afterwards. I mean, we have to, we're literally attached at the hip, but you're connected too, through the Guild. I'm not saying you should apologize to him, and maybe the best you can do is agree to disagree, but this awkwardness hurts more than it helps, and if you think no one else feels or sees it, then you've got another thing coming. The longer this festers, the more people will be forced to pick sides, and that leads to a widening of the rift. I know, members of a family are supposed to protect each other, not jeopardize each other, but more importantly, family's forgive. It doesn't have to be tonight, but think about it, okay? I remember the proud look on your face when you invited us the the Guild. But this uncomfortable aura isn't something to be proud of, it doesn't feel like family."
An earthquake. God King Gilgamesh closed his eyes. It had been a literal lifetime ago since the incident. Out here in the open plains of the Digital World, earthquakes were less dangerous since there was no risk of anything falling on you, and being a four-legged creature, Gil wasn't going to lose his footing and crack his head open no matter how intense the shaking. So unless the earth split open directly beneath him, he was relatively safe. But inside a building, where tremendous weight could collapse on you, that was where the real danger lay.
Gil reminisced about the moment of his death. Gil had found himself in a building in a strange new world. He had been quietly exploring his new environs when he found a child sleeping. However, another, larger digimon had materialized outside and went on a rampage. The violence and destruction it wrought not only woke the child, but caused the building to lose structural integrity and collapse. Gil remembered bracing his armored back to the falling rubble and preventing the child from coming to harm, but they were buried, and keeping the rubble from crushing the child had prevented Gil from doing anything else. The child was understandably frightened, and with no other recourse, All Gil could do was reassure the child. Yes, that was when he chose his name, formed of a random, stray piece of data that happened to be part of Gil's digital essence. He had to exude strength and courage, even if he was lying, even if he was in pain. Gil had introduced himself as "God King Gilgamesh", omnipotent and invincible, conqueror of nations. For hours, Gil regaled the child with made up stories of his heroic and awe-inspiring deeds, but always reminding the child that the most noble of deeds was helping those in trouble. Gil wasn't sure how long his digital body would last, as his strength was slowly sapping away and he could feel his final hour approaching. But his worries had been washed away as the sound of digging and rays of light began seep through the rubble. The last thing Gil saw was the looked of overjoyed relief on the child's face as rescue workers pulled him from the remains of his collapsed home. Closing his eyes, Gil felt his body dissipate into bits of data and return to the Digital World to be reborn.
Gil opened his eyes as the rumbling dissipated and the swirling, churning sensation of vertigo in his stomach had subsided. Since then, he had spent his time training, until he had achieved his Armadimon form again. But he needed to be stronger. Last time, all he could do was delay harm, he hadn't been strong enough to rescue the child by his own power. And with all the chaos happening in the Digital World, it was time to step up and do something about it. But as Gil opened his eyes, he realized he was in a different place entirely. Apparently the vertigo had been from teleportation and not merely from the earth shaking beneath his feet. Here he was surrounded by shelves of books and several digimon. Several beings appeared through a portal, confused and disoriented; humans. From the looks of things, the humans seemed to be 'reuniting' with the digimon, which was a relief since that at least meant that the humans had some comfort despite their strange situation. Deciding to take the lead, Gil called out, "Worry not! We find ourselves in an unfamiliar place. I do not know what is happening, but I'm sure if we work together, we'll find a solution." Gil put on a smug smile in the hopes that confidence, albeit false, will reassure everyone present.
One detail of NOTE. There is a bear trap permanently fused to her jaws, so she actually kind of looks like this:
Name
Osameru Kyouran
Hero Name
Dieselpunk
Root
Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto City, Japan
Physical Elaboration
With dark skin, shoulder-length platinum hair, Matrix-binary green eyes, and a healthy, attractive physique, Kyouran would be primed to be a popular heroine were it not for the fact that a childhood accident has left a literal bear-trap replacing her jaw.
Legend
Characterization
Kyouran is chummy and honorable, with all the chivalry of a typical hot-blooded Japanese punk with none of the insecure aggression. She readily makes 'bonds of brotherhood' with people who have impressed her in any way. She is a tomboy who likes to get down and dirty and believes that physical contact is integral to 'brotherly' bonding. She has a tendency to joke and just let things roll off her shoulder so it's very difficult to know when something is actually bothering her. Kyouran has poor self-control when it comes to her emotions and indulgences, preferring to live life like a firework, to experience all she can and go out in a blaze of glory. But she is level-headed enough to recognize when those smarter than her have well laid-out plans for her to follow. This is all in contrast to her rich and privileged upbringing. Despite being a daughter of the Osameru Conglomerate, Kyouran is rather dimwitted and quite lacking in propriety. One part of her wealthy background does show though, she is a big spender, and can be demanding at times.
Past
Kyouran has always been the black sheep firecracker among her siblings. While they were being groomed to inherit their parents' business and legacy, Kyouran slacked off, had no head for business, and engaged in activities her parents' associates would not approve of. Still, Kyouran and her siblings couldn't all inherit their parents' wealth, so her parents kind of just gave her up for a lost cause and let her do what she wanted. But her fate was sealed when a prank gone wrong (self-inflicted) leaves her permanently disfigured. With a bear-trap attached to her mouth, she would never be the face of the Osameru Conglomerate. But this only gave her the freedom to forge her own path. And despite knowing that publicity and image mattered a lot for the field, Kyouran decided she would become a hero.
Vision
Kyouran is somewhat in over her head and needs to learn teamwork and how to fight more intelligently, as well as ho to utilize her quirk for something other than getting into a giant robot brawl, like rescue, and taking advantage of all the wonders of modern communications technology.
Competencies
Quirk
"Robots in Disguise" allows Kyouran's body to fuse with machines.
Mechanics
Kyouran has the ability to fuse mechanical or metallic objects into her body for fifteen minutes, after which intense pain will cause her to reject the 'implant'. Her jaw is a permanent example of what happens if a mechanical piece stays attached to her body past the time limit. This quirk doesn't give her enhanced strength, only enhanced durability for whatever part of her body has been temporarily replaced with a mechanical object. She has developed the ability to harness force-generating aspects of machines such as pneumatics, hydraulics, engines, motors, servos, etc. which do enhance her strength. She is also able to meld with electronic devices, which can give her the ability to tap into radio signals or hack other machines, if only she was actually smart enough to do so. The ultimate manifestation of this ability is if she takes on more machines than the actual volume of her body. This essentially allows her the transform into a giant humanoid mech that vaguely resembles an amalgam of the machine parts used to create her robot body.
Though this is usually limited by the amount of spare machinery around that she can incorporate into her body, fortunately, she has a heavy industries company backing her, making robot parts for her. Of course, becoming close with students from the support classes will also help tremendously.
Other Talents and Traits
Kyouran is stronger and has slightly higher endurance than a normal quirkless individual due to being scrappy and getting into brawls often as a kid. Though not a talent, Kyouran is rich, and has a large tech company backing her whims. The bear trap on her jaw does provide her head and face with some protection, and can act as a natural weapon if someone is close enough for her to bite them.
I changed the reference of Ollie Saxe to Ogata Taji. That is what you meant by change the name stuff, right? Because I decided that my digimon's full name is actually "God King Gilgamesh", but shortened to Gil. There's a reason he has such a ridiculous name.
Name: God King Gilgamesh (Gil) Level: Rookie Appearance:
A yellow, Armadillo-like Digimon with an armored shell and long claws. Armadimon always seems to be offering a reassuring smile.
Personality:
Gil is straightforward, honest, and highly protective to the point of being self-sacrificing. Gil believes that strength is contagious, and that exuding strength will uplift and strengthen those around him. However, he also recognizes that strength not only comes in different forms, but that it also takes time to cultivate, and cannot and should not be maintained at all times. So while he wants those around him to become their 'best versions', he will be there to support and nurture them when they fall.

Appearance: Lanky boy with a bad twitch and a jittery leg. There is almost always the sound of something rattling in his coat, the various medications needed to keep him docile.
Personality: Ollie is usually very quiet, docile and skiddish, the type to run from a fight if its just his own person involved in the confrontation but refuses to let his friends come to harm. Protective but paranoid, they prefer small company because excessive crowds and noise give him severe anxiety attacks.
Contrary to his regular disposition, Ollie has an unsettling and irrational hairline trigge, making him short tempered and defensive if they are having a mild attack on their fragile nerves.
History: Ollie might look like a sturdy young man, they go to the gym often and have buckled down in recent years on their studies, but this poor man has a fuse so short a stray spark was often enough to trigger him to the point of violence. Thankfully it was never the assault type of violence but the kind where you feel trapped in a room and need to know you can leave. Ollie is deeply scarred from the events of his youth, witnessing a giant bird creature and some sort of giant dinosaur fighting in the streets. His home had been one of the few that had been damaged and nobody believes him that monsters were real. They were REAL he had SEEN them!
Ollie often recalls that night in his sleep, the weight of the rubble for hours on end all around him. The feeling of knowing you could be injured at such a young age was too difficult to deal with, the only thing he could see was the darkness. What made things worse was the voice. A gentle voice of iron whispering everything was ok.. that it was going to be alright. That voice continues to haunt him, the unknown savior.
Therapy was the first option but for him it was the wrong choice. Suppressing the truth in Ollie over the years has only made him more anxious, paranoid, delusional, in need of medications to settle his fragile mental state. They've lashed out often at others with harsh words and as such has become ostracized. What few friends remain are steadfast in their support of their friend and his struggles for which Ollie is eternally grateful. On nearly a dozen different occasions, however, that gratefulness to their friendships turned violent when other students became physical with them in Ollies presence.
Amidst a particularly bad moment of emotional distress the situation became very physical. Ollie admits he attacked other students to protect his friends but it was deemed 'excessive', injuries requiring a hospital visit for stitches, which landed him in isolation for the last year of his school life as his medications were doubled.
Other: Likes armadillos, pangolins, has a deeply rooted fear of incarceration. Also believes the medicine he takes is just a placebo, no real cure. Just imaginary.
Partner Digimon: Please refer to the character sheet made by my boi Stern Algorithm
Here be the tentative idea for my digimon, partner to Zelosse's Ollie. Still trying to decide on a name. Should I mention how my digimon and partner met during the incident? Also, given that this particular Digimon was a 'hero' Digimon, it and a few of its evolutions tend to have more signature moves than others of the same rank. Will that be an issue?
