@deyinger Could I bother you to put a small settlement in one of the Shimmering Sea's bays? Vagrant's Rest or something. Just a small hidden spot for smugglers to lay low.

As for relationships, how would you feel if Rhys had some prior contact with Rhea. Wouldn't even have to be in person, as she doesn't visit the city much, but could be a fence for some of her goods?

Ick Anne is like the ultamite buzkill. Just want her with the 7 foot guy to see if he can actually step on her.

Also I want crazy hot and wild lesbian pirate adventures between Rhea and Nora, only for Nora to leave to make a name for herself on her own after a few happy years of plunder.

In seriousness I still haven't read everyones full backstory stuff yet so can't offer a proper opinion.

I don't know - I'm planning for a big part of Arthur's character arc to be 'learning how to have interpersonal relationships', so I think a long-term pen pal situation is a little out of his depth at the moment. :P Maybe they just know each other in a 'social function' kind of way?

I mean Anne isn't exactly buddy buddy material either. But I get what you're saying. If you need a reason for him to interact with someone though she has spent the past 3 years with some of the most renowned scientists on the other side of the continent. Albeit focusing on different disciplines than he does. Also his family being so highborn means that they'd likely hate her, the Gress' are like the cockroaches of Orewyn's higher class.

@Sisyphus@Tackytaff Well, it's possible that Elian could know either of your characters, given that he's serving the Royal family. A knight and a spy might well work together. And an inventor could be seen in passing.

Depends what he was doing, Anne left three years before, so when he was 16 after being a knight for 6 months (?) and hasn't been back since. I don't know if they'd recognize each-other or anything but maybe.
