?????????????????????????????????????????
The world is stuck, and it is ending. You know it will end, and you know how. You've seen it near a hundred times. Each time, black sickness comes from bellow, dragons raze from above, and everyone dies. No matter where you run, where hide, you die too. But you also remember. When your eyes open, they are to a scene you have again witnessed a hundred times, but this one is always identical. Wherever you are in the wold, whoever you are; you know that Queen Adeline Crestmoon has just been assassinated, and the end of the word has begun.
Welcome to the world of Tollen, and in exactly one year and a four months it will be ash and dust. Then start the process again. Your characters are the only ones who seem to realize that time is in a loop, that remember after each cycle.
Certain events always take place before the world ends. Sometimes you stop them, sometimes you can't, its hard to tell which really matter in the end. Still here's your basic glossary as to what happens when.
Month 1: Queen Adeline is assassinated by SOUTHWEST COUNTRY (This is the only event where the outcome cannot be changed, she is dead the moment the cycle renews itself.)

NORTH COUNTRY (MAGIC): Covers the entire Northern part of the world, mostly a frozen wasteland it is mostly inhabited by mages, who completely rule over others. Nearly a hundred years ago there was a civil war, commoners pushing back against the mages. Their borders and ports have been closed ever since with no news greater than speculation and suspicious rumor coming from there.
EAST INLAND COUNTRY: a Fertile land of mostly farmers, a close ally of CENTRAL EAST COAST COUNTRY.
VOLCANIC COUNTRY (EAST, SOUTH): A tropical rain forest, until the eruption of the Storming Mountain ten years ago, ash has covered most of the southern landscape, and continues to rain on the coast, spreading northwards. With nowhere to go, the inhabitants of VOLCANIC COUNTRY are scattered, seeking refuge in OTHER EASTERN COUNTRIES, some desperate enough to go further east, to the Burning Wastes.
CENTRAL EAST COST COUNTRY: Another farming-based land. It is the only remaining trade port between the east and western kingdoms, and it's ever rising tariffs is making some nations lean towards aggressive action.
The Free Isles: A collections of self-governed cities with little proper laws or borders, sustaining themselves on the wealth of minerals underground. A hotspot of wars for centuries.
SOUTHERNMOST WEST COUNTRY: Little more than a desert wasteland past it's shores. Skilled smiths, who craft and make use of most metals from the Free Isles.
CENTRAL WEST: The greatest military force in the world. Still steeped in old tradition, they keep the war of dragons fresh in everyone's mind and make a point to take ventures into the Burning Wastes at times in search of more Dragons. They also do their best to keep order in the Free Isles, protecting the mining cities and their deliveries from pirates.
NORTH WESTERN COUNTRY: Undoubtedly the wealthiest nation, trading in silk and spices not found anywhere else. An extremely rocky relationship with NORTH MAGIC COUNTRY, and though there has been no real word out of the country in near a century, they keep their shared boarder fully manned.
The Burning Wastes: A land that has quite literally been on fire for four hundred years. It is a place where when rain does come, it is acidic enough to burn a person's skin, leaves mud that smells of rot, and does nothing the quell the fires that spout from the ground. It is where the last of the dragons live, however few remain. Vowed together to never take part in human affairs again after most of their kin killing each other over wars humans began. There are no surviving female dragons known.

- Gold Gate: Largest producer of gold in the world, to those who haven't traveled it is a place of legends to be dreamed about; where the very streets are laden with gold.
- Iron Stone: Iron mines, have enough laws and strictness to almost makeup for the lack in the other free islands, with harsh and unwavering terms they make difficult trade partners.
