The Merchant Ship

Arms stood by the Airlock in wait for everyone else to do the job given to them. However, he used the holographic images on the palms of his arms to get a good idea of what was going on, as lifesigns detected on the ship were starting to drop, no doubt part of it being because of Rama's gravity bomb stunt. He could hear the Knight also complaining how it was specifically ordered to only kill when necessary. Arms couldn't help but sigh while pinching the tip of his muzzle in annoyance. Then he could hear sounds...he wasn't expecting to hear from the outside, as all kind of weapons were being fired out of the Typhon. He looked out the window to see the damage done to its exterior shell.

On the one hand, it's something of a blessing in disguise that someone not only unsealed his "room of wonders" that Arron ordered him to seal, but also activated weapons Arms helped to develop and upgrade back when Edward was still captain. To top it off, in order to get those things working at once, that someone must have brought in an AI chip to insert into the computer mainframe. Which means, at the very least, there was someone in their new crew that will prove very useful for him.

On the other hand, their captain was a petty sort of child, and will likely not be happy someone ruined the ship's asthetic.

"The Typhon would be one of the most feared ships outside the Imperial Armada if it wasn't for that damn shell in the way." Arms thought.

---------

As more and more of his crew is eiher killed or knocked out, The captain of the Merchant ship armed himself with the best weapon in his merchandise, an Advanced and upgraded plasma rifle, and moved towards the door. He didn't know what he could do alone, but there was no way in hell he was going to just sit there and let them come to him. That in mind, he walked into the hallway, and looked around, a kill-on-sight mentality seen in his clearly fear-stricken eyes.

------------------------------

The Typhon- Bridge

It was around the time he could feel the ship shake from the additional fire Victor provided, the lasers and missiles that blew a hole in the ship's exterior hull, that Arron thought maybe, just maybe, putting them into a stressful situation where they'd be looking for anything and everything to fight back against the oncoming forces that were heading their way may have been, in fact, a bit of a bad idea.

His clever smirk immediately turned to a frankly goofy look of shock as the Victor's activation of the other weaponry of the ship, plus his pilot's spinning of the ship to attack a particularly larger fighter, ramming the Typhon into it, caused the ship to shake hard enough to knock him off his chair and land right on his face. Staying there on the floor as Victor explained what was going on to the bridge. One might have thought (or hoped), with how motionless the captain was, that he was knocked out, or possibly dead, (...It could happen...) but it seems he was listening to what Victor was saying as he rose up one of his arms, pointing towards the ceiling with his face still planted on the floor almost outright cartoonishly, and began to speak.

"...And those buccaneers drown their sins in rum, the devil himself would have to call them scum. ...First off, welcome to the crew, happy to have an AI on board, we have talked about getting one but by Poseidon are they expensive. ...As your captain, here's your first four directives. One, your captain designation is "Link". Two, as the Mainframe AI you have control over the ship's mites, so be sure to help Scrap by setting the repair parameters she adds to all the mites on the ship. Three, Target only the fighters for now but not all of them, save some for Hook and Scots, and when I give the command, rain hellfire on that merchant ship. Four, give you friend Jar a message for me: "Thanks for the fix and the AI, greatly appreciate it, but know there's a weapon in that room you must absolutely not touch yet: it should be a giant console with a blue print shown on the monitor, can't miss it. One more thing, for future reference and with all due respect: DON'T GO BLOWING HOLES IN MY HULL, YOU 'SHOLE!!!" ...Be sure that last part is capitalized, and ends with 3 exclamation points. Also, Pain, happy with how excited you seem to be, but we don't have the money for ramming materials yet, and until we do, this ship is not a bull. So please, for the love of Uranus' severed balls in the ocean of stars, don't kill us!" Arron said to Sara, using the fingers of his extended arm to count his directives as he said it while also making handsigns to further express what he's saying to her.

It should be noted that the first sentence was in a different tone from the rest of what he said, as if he was...singing.

Afterwards, he pulled his face off the floor and got up, dusting himself off, and getting back on his seat, waiting for Arms to give a signal to haul them out of the merchant ship with prisoners in tow.

-----

It wouldn't take Victor long to notice what he was talking about, as there was one particular set of computers and a giant monitor set deep inside the room on the opposite end of it to the door, practically positioned in a way that noted its importance. Just as Arron said, the monitor was displaying a blueprint for something on it. It looked like some kind of giant cannon barrel set just below the Bridge of the Typhon, with some kind of power core at its center, separate from the ones in the engine room, and looking more like some kind of giant crystal at its center. On top of the blue prints was what seemed to be the name of this weapon: Codename: Dead Man's Chest.

However, the analysis of the weapon seems to indicate that it's still incomplete, and therefore inoperable currently.
To anyone still online, this is nothing major

I want to use a color for Golden's minions, question is which one? It has to be a dark color.

By Minions, I assume you mean his mecha-wolves right? ...A Dark-Gold/Dark-Yellow maybe?
Ok, so since most people have already posted, new guy included. (I appreciate that from you all. ^_^) I'm entering last call mode.

@Red Helix and @Ragrar have 24 hours to post before I move on. ...That's not to say you'll be kicked or anything, but I WILL be moving us out of the cave in the next post, or at least get us moving out of said cave.
(Enter two NPCs I will likely only use this once and hopefully never again. My "Admin hammers" for when I'm commencing GM actions in character. At @The1Rolling1Boy's request, I am making an exception here so as to lift his burden.)

All of a sudden, Time for this entire universe stopped, everyone and thing was now frozen in time.

Within this state of frozen time, two individual boys appeared, teleporting to the bar from out of nowhere. One with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing US military camouflage, the other brown hair, green eyes, and wearing casual clothes over an inner-fur sweater. The two took a look at the figures still frozen, as if looking for someone.

"...Oi, I found 'em." the blonde haired one said, pointing towards Fire, Tippi, and Logan. The brown haired one looked at the three before looking at the blonde one.

"Easy enough, guess we got em before their adventure began. ...Welp, no need to waste time then, let's get to doing the Repo." the brown-haired one said. In an instant, the two created two portals to their sides, grabbed the three in question, and pushed them into the portals before entering themselves.

The three, in the blink of an eye, would return to their original worlds, without a memory of what just transpired.

For everyone else, time started moving, and other than missing the three in question. They would not be aware of what just happened. Those with a more supernatural sense, however, would detect that an immense power came and went in an instant, leaving naught but a meager trace of that energy behind.

Morgana- Inside the Tavern

Morgana simply blinked and noticed that three people just disappeared from out of nowhere. It was only after that that he then noticed the people walking out of the tavern, seemingly one by one, and heading into the forest. What's more he could see the lightning that appeared in the forest beyond from the corner of his eyes. He then noticed the Vampire that ran into the building, closing the door from behind him, as if running from something.

"...Wow, This place is just FULL of surprises. This place has had a fair share of visitors...and I'm not convinced 90 or so percent of them are really humans themselves." A voice from above said to Price. The black cat got up and stretched out his back and limbs after laying there all that time, then jumping down to meet with the Vampire, his blue eyes looking straight at him as he lands on one of the tables.

"I'm guessing you aren't either...Or you're just a goth fanatic." The black cat spoke.

Nagito- Forest Near Tavern

"Haha! Wow, I guess our luck is shining on us again. Everything's so chaotic right now, and everyone's splitting up and leaving the Tavern. I'd say now's as good time as any to send out your pet." Nagito said to Hunter as he watched the people begin to scatter from the Bar. One may notice that the tree he was on, unlike the others, wasn't moving. This was also likely due to Nagito's luck, though he feels Hunter's prescence being so close to the tree might have something to do with it as well.

Johnathan Falcon- Within Golden's Lair

"...It seems you shall have your opportunity. The people of the tavern are scattering like the leaves of an autumn breeze. Your adversary is among them. ...If you intended to hunt him down, I would say now's a good time to do so." Johnathan said, as he continued to watch the situation around the Tavern as well.

Lord Metallix- Forest near the Tavern

The cloaked robot watched with great interest as the other magic-user sucked the life out of the area and into himself it seemed. Fortunately for Metallix, he is technically no longer alive, any organic matter he once had is gone now, meaning he had no life energy to get sucked drive from. ...The Electromagnetic energy, however, now THAT was a bothersome thing to see. Still, however, he was more fascinated with the alchemist boy's gift adaptation, quickly adapting his body to the situation around him...could make for a useful inspiration for a new robot design when he gets back home.

Almost as if Karma itself was listening, however, he immediately detected another space-time anomaly not far from where they were, detecting an electromagnetic signature appearing when the anomaly faded. It was very weak, but it was definitely the signature of robotic machination. He's been around robots long enough to know when he spots one. It could be useful for him to gain this robot as an ally...but it would mean he'd have to leave these two alone to possibly kill each other.

Weighing his options, he decided that two seemed durable enough to last on their own, and jumped off the cliff of the ring, heading rocketing straight for the Robot in question.

When he got there, he spotted the robot he detected, shut down and in a malfunctioning state, and a lifeless husk that was once apparently an elven humanoid, spotting the bruises on her neck that indicated high-pressurized strangling was the cause of death. It didn't take very long for Metallix to figure out what happened...

"All life, no matter how beautiful or strong, fades with time all the same. ...Always such a pathetic sight to behold." Metallix thought to itself as he stared as the elven corpse. He then wandered towards the robot, and began scanning its machinations. Needless to say, it was impressive, FAR ahead the technology of the time he perceives they are in if the Elf was any indication. It wasn't like the robots that were made in his home, this was more advanced than that, rightfully so since all but the swatbots were converted from flesh rather than built. Even so, Metallix indicated himself capable of rebuilding and perhaps reprogramming this robot, since it seems to be have a base desire for the termination of something, a waste of valuable material regardless of what his target is. He'd need materials though...

It was around that time, however, that he detected another presence behind him, a hulking mass that seemed to be hiding amidst the trees if his scanners indicated properly.

"...I don't need a visor to be able to spot something like you. By the indicated mass you seem to have, it's easy to tell that you weren't made with stealth in mind...Identify yourself." Metallix said to Red, turning his head to stare in Red's direction, his eyes glowing red as he stated his demand for Red's identity. He also noticed the other figure that seemed to be standing by with this robot, A creature of supernatural energy it seemed...

This forest seemed to be just full of interesting things...
@The Jest
Do we all have coms with the boarding party? Such as the pilot and the gunners?

By Coms, I'm assuming you mean Communicators, right?

Later on, during the next mission, yes there will be communicators for everyone, boarding party included since obviously communication is vital for such split-ups. Right now however, since everything happened so fast, there wasn't enough time to hand communicators to everyone in the boarding party. If they have their own way of somehow getting in contact with the ship, then they are of course free to use it, but otherwise, Only Arms can have communication with the people on the Typhon at the moment, with which he will signal them to come get them when they're ready to go.
How do we know if someone is OP or not? It would be great if everyone listed weaknesses of their character, something that makes them fall in one hit or few, whatever.

Mine is a ghost btw.

Well yes, I obviously agree that there should be a weakness section on the CS...Although something that makes them fall in "One Hit", might be pushing it a little too much into the reverse. ^_^;

I'm still interested. And for the record: If the GM needs any help with the storyline of this multi-faction war, I'd be happy to help out. ^_^
@The JestWait, you are allowed to skim through posts???

So much less headaches now...no offence guys.

It's not recommended, since even the larger posts like mine have important factors to it, details and what have you, and somethings I'd like to keep...consistent, especially in times of important story matters. However, I AM ultimately open to improvisation when I feel its less problematic than asking them to correct it. (Note: There ARE limits to this however. Like I said, I would like to keep things consistent as posssible, so please do not expect me nor @Windstormugly to improvise for every inconsistency there is. I'm lenient right now only because it is still the beginning of the RP. Remember the rule: D.S.G.S.)

I didn't skim through. It just didn't make sense to send in a doctor with no combat training into a hostile area. Especially when he doesn't have any weapon.

So when he said 'get into positions', my character went to the medical bay.

I see...Well, I already improvised around it, so there's no need to worry about it for now.

But for future reference, and I'll probably have Arron point it out to everyone after this mission's said and done, The captain has a reason for every order he gives, so, as Arms pointed out, while the "how" you figure out yourself, when you're given an order, you are damn well expected to follow it, and will likely be punished in some way or form, (A tame way non-life-threatening way I can assure you...) if you don't. (Again, D.S.G.S.)
If you told me you wanted him to join the boarding party then I would have had him do so. It didn't make sense to me to have him do so because he has no weapons and as a doctor, he had an oath not to harm others unless it was a mercy kill. I didn't believe he had a real reason to go on to the hostile ship.

All of your objectives are simple enough: Serve, Knight, Fae, Rain, Con, Rom, and Snake, the Boarding party, are to board the Merchant Ship and take every bit of loot off them that you can find. In addition, if possible, I want you to capture and bring back the crew of that ship to this one alive. Chef and Doc, you guys are to join the Boarding party take whatever medical supply and food you feel you need to properly do your jobs.

I understand that first post was Very long, and so I don't blame you for skimming through it, which is why when you made him do something else, I improvised as a result. But let it be known that it WAS ordered by the Captain that he be with the Boarding Party.
@Bishop I suspect a ship like this have a few cargo holds and storage rooms should be a few general ones around with that. Ranna is doing some scanning of the ship and has mentioned what she is doing and she is in the same group as Gold so feel free ask her. Hope that helps ^^

Indeed. Honestly, the thought of specific designs for the merchant ship didn't really occur to me. It's not going to matter much at the moment since as soon as we're done with it, it'll get blasted to pieces anyways. So the lot of you are free to shape it however you wish to.

As for the Typhon, well, @Windstormugly was thinking about making a blueprint of the ship, course some updates would likely have to be made thanks to everyone's help with said design. If anybody could make a proper blue print of the ship's interior (The REAL ship exterior in mind, not the outer shell one) and save him some effort, it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm pretty much done with my post. Therefore, I'm giving the rest of the people who haven't posted yet this cycle, (@Windstormugly @Tal0n and @Hazy) 24 hours to post before I move on. Depending on circumstances, I may extend it to an extra 24, but I'm posting on Tuesday no matter what.

@BKburke is excluded in the wake of his character not having much to do. (Which is why I originally intended on him coming with the Boarding party to begin with.)
@Petulant Please don't spoil it. I mean, what is life without mystery? Like a game where you have the hacks to everything. Gets veeeery boring super quick.

Not to worry, we're very good at keeping secrets.

Also, @CriticalHit, You are officially and unanimously Green-lighted. You may make your intro post to the IC, ASAP. ^_^
