Interested, and I might have an idea for a character. A scholarly noble archer or maybe something else.
Andrés Moruga

Andrés smiled, "that is good, Cori, and I am glad things are still going well for you." At least someone he knows life is still well, despite being the same over the years. Some things never change, he thought as he sat there. Andrés could only wish that he had a better tale to say as to why he is back to the Isles after so long on the mainland. He wondered how many knew of it, and maybe he could save that for another day.

Still, he wonders how his old friends on the Isles are doing since he has not had a chance to meet with them yet. Hopefully, as well as Cori here. Maybe later, they can talk about things and catch up. Since he feels like now is not the right time and with her talking to another here. It is best not to have two conversations at the same time, and things might get mixed up.

Either way, Andrés is enjoying his time so far, and maybe tomorrow, he can meet more of the people he knows on the Isles. Hopefully, they are doing as well as Cori. Now, he is just sitting there waiting for his drink and waiting to see if anyone else he knows shows up.

Nevermind then, and I will just drop it.
Okay, never mind then, I will not try to use Cable since it will not work in this case. The only other thought I had for a possbile second char would be one of Cyclops' brothers granted I have no idea what story to have with them and if again it conflicts with someone else, possibly Pacifista's chars because of Cyclop. Then, I will drop the issue.

Well, ultimately, it depends on what you’d want to do with him. If he’s Nathan Grey-Summers then he’s technically already showed up in the game as a toddler. If he’s someone else (like Niles Cable) or re-imagined to be another character then I don’t think there’d be any concern (unless the GMs would have something to say about it, I'm chiming in as someone who's technically already written Cable into the game). If he is Nathan though, then I’d have to think about what that means for Jean, since a big part of her motive in becoming a hero is making a better world for him to grow up in, so Cable existing as a time traveler from a doomed future would imply that Jean’s on the wrong path, (depending on how it’s handled), and I’m not sure I want to drop that implication before she’s even debuted as a hero.

Oh I did not know you have already made him. I missed that. Well, the idea I have for Cable was that he was from a defunct timeline or a defunct future and trying to figure out what to do and that he is in this timeline/present and learns that he is not the only one from this defunct timeline/future. Either way, I am not sure I will play a second char and I can just pick someone else if this version of Cable does not work.
Just a thought, and I'm not sure if I will do it, but would Cable be an option to play as?
Do Ancestors have to be based on real mythology? I’m tossing between a few, but I’m pretty sure it’ll be obvious who they are when I reveal the powers.

No, they do not. You can make up your own gods and what not. And after thinking about it I think I am just going to let people just write in the cs what the ancient ancestor is.
The Great War

The year is 2535, and humanity has been at war for thirty years. Their enemy is the monstrous Aracni Horde, an alien race that appeared on the frontier of human space about thirty years ago and started an invasion the likes no human has seen.

Starting from the frontier of human space, the Aracni Horde pushed further and further into human space. Invading world after world and only leaving once everyone human was dead and then moving on to the next. While humanity would score some early victories in the war. These victories would soon turn into defeat after defeat. Until humanity realized the true scope and goals of their enemy and mobilized everything they had. Did humanity start making a real difference in the war.

But, it still was not enough to win the war. Currently, only the inner human space is left, but the line is holding. Thanks to strong fortified orbital defenses and massive military space stations. But it is a guess as to how long these defenses can hold and how the Aracni Horde can be held back.

The situation, though stable at the moment, humanity is desperate for a solution that can win the war and save humanity from extinction. Then came a badly damaged human ship coming from Horde space, which crash landed on the stronghold world of Wayland. However, cautious, if Aracnis were on the ship, after locating and exploring the wreck, They found a sole human survivor, and some data was recovered. It turns out the ship was from the world of Attica, a world that was apart of a defensive network called the Iron Ring before contact was lost with them. It was assumed that the Iron Ring was lost, but it turns out. A sizable human force is still alive and holding off the Aracni Horde.

But, the reason for their survival was not because of the strength of their defenses or anything different than what the rest of humanity had done. But, something was found within one of the Iron Ring worlds, a series of artifacts that somehow repulsed the Aracni and able to kill them in large numbers. They have been using them to safeguard their worlds and are currently still holding out thanks to these artifacts. They sent a ship to inform the rest of humanity of their discovery and thought that finding more of these artifacts was the key to winning the war.

When High Command learned about this, they knew that this could be the deciding factor of the war and would gather a team and with a prototype stealth ship. Be sent them deep behind enemy lines to the Iron Ring in hopes of learning more about the artifacts and end the war before humanity is dead and gone. Little does this team know that getting to the Iron Ring is just the beginning.

Deathstroke

It has been awhile since Slade has been to New York City, the city that never sleeps. The last time he was here, he was a teenager on vacation with his adoptive parents. Those were the times, and it seems like the city has not changed much since his last visit. But unlike last time, when it was for fun. This time, his reason for coming back to the city is for personal business.

It did take some time for Slade, and with help from Wintergreen, to figure out which boat had the shipment that he discovered on his last mission. Now, while he was late in finding the ship at the docks, he did manage to figure out where the shipment was going. It was at a warehouse, and after doing some subtle recon during the day of the warehouse. It was time to see what was in it.

It was about midnight in New York City when Slade, wearing his armor, got through a locked gate, a back entrance to the warehouse, and proceeded to the main storage area. He navigated past the guards and cameras, and once he was inside, he began his search.

Luckily, Slade had the shipment information and had just had to locate the right shipping container. Still, in a warehouse full of shipping containers. It took some time to find it as he walked past container after container before finally stopping at the right one. "There you are," Slade said under his breath, and he slowly opened the shipping container and he discovered where long wooden crates. Seeing how the crates were sealed shut, he looked around and found a crowbar, which he used to open one of the crates.

What Slade found were weapons, specifically rifles, he put the crowbar aside and picked one of them up. It was a type that he was not familiar with, which is surprising considering his military background. But it did look somewhat advanced, "now, what are you?" He wondered as he gazed at it. Slade would put it back in the crate and took out a device. A small but expensive device, a tracking device that Slade had bought just for this occasion. He placed it deep within the open crate and closed it.

It should be small enough that it would be hard to find, but the fact the crate was clearly opened at one point would draw attention, and people would know that something was up. But Slade does not have much choice in finding out where these weapons are heading, so he does the best he can. After leaving the container and closing it shut. Did he leave the warehouse quietly, and now it was the time for the waiting game.
