Much of her childhood is was spent moving from city to city, all over Russia, even sometimes different countries around Russia. Never too long in one place, she never had time to make anykind of relationships with people. Her free time was spent with her father, training her into becoming "a better self" as he put it. Martha was against Alexis's training but she couldn't say much about it as everything they owned was under Igor's name. As the years passed, Alexis had the pleasure of meeting Christina Angeloff, her half-sister on her father's side and they hated each other from that very moment. Each vying for the attention of their father, they became rivals in everything. Each spurring the other one to overcome any obstacle. At school, they'd fight over who has the biggest grades and at home, whoever was a faster eater/fighter/shooter. A few years before she came to America, her mother finally filed for divorce. Long years of bad marriage eventually came to an end, Alexis chose to stay with her father even as her mother protested against it but that ended as well with them texting or sending emails to each other from time to time. Just before she moved to America and tranferred to the Delbrook Academy High School, her father's dark past came to light and the FSS came knocking on their door. Igor sent Alexis away as soon as he could to live with her Mother until things calmed down in Russia.
