It is certainly not 'optimal', but it *is* doable, depending on what you want to do with it. You could go swords or valor bard and play them more like a warrior with some magical ability

ECHO DOMAIN - PLATFORM #2884

Perhaps surprisingly, no further conflict came other than verbal ones. Their mission was given the last of its details, the teams were split accordingly- Warform with the Vrexul, Endo and microforms with the Envenomed, and they were off to the figurative races. Echo never particularly understood the need for secrecy- but it was apparently much beloved in this world of black ops, and thus the platform relayed nothing as the voidhanger planted a secure communicator on its plating. Radio silence was enforced- in no small part by Echo manually forcing off squadwide comms. Communication, unfortunately would be difficult- if not impossible for the war platform- as all of its communications were generally done through the squadnet. Or at least, it would've been, had not every squad member been assigned a microform. Echo could use the external speakers on the Endo and Microforms to communicate as necessary, though perhaps considerably less efficiently.

Salvator chose the hatch as their ingress point, a more predictable entry point, but stable and subtle. Their new Gealtirocht squadmate, Rho-Hux led them in, followed by his assigned microform, mechanical legs plodding quietly against the bulwark as it entered. It kept its 'eye' facing where the Gealtirocht didn't, effectively increasing their visual detection radius. The Endoform would wait to be the last one in. With its multiple visual feeds, it could basically walk backwards the entire time without worry about tripping, being left behind, or unnecessarily bumping into anyone. Its size also meant that it could fire over the heads of allies if needed, and putting itself in the back meant that Salvator wouldn't struggle to see past it to command the others, as opposed to if Echo had placed his Endoform in the center.

Unfortunately, the endoform itself could only be so subtle, with its heavy legs against hull plating. Still, it made an effort. "Notice. Endoform assignment. Rear Security." came the relatively quiet call of the various microforms next to their respective charges, the endoform's gun raised as it held up the rear.
Hey everyone! Thanks for all of the interest and character sheets! I know it hasn't been an incredibly long time, and anyone that has posted interest can still drop a sheet and I'll take a look, but I think, at this time, I'm gonna close this RP off to further interest! I'll be taking a more detailed look at everyone's character sheets shortly!

Color in Akamu's face drained as he saw Leviathan fall. Sure, he was aware that Regalia and their Dominant forms weren't invincible- but it was still sobering to see it happen in front of him. It didn't help that Leviathan was massive either the earth and water shaking and shuddering as they fell. Followers of the great serpent fell in despair, and the swarms of monsters feasted and gorged themselves on the remains. It was both degusting and terrifying to see. Ripper swarms grew larger and more malignant, and the great beast trudging out of the water began its attack in earnest.

Akamu glanced back behind him, towards Laura- now Gaia, and the civilians huddling around her, her protective barrier surrounded by the flashes of muzzles as the remaining soldiers stemmed the tide of monsters. They wouldn't be able to hold out forever- nor would Akamu just punching his way through these beasts one at a time. They needed something decisive to end this inexorable tide, and it seemed the great monster before them was as good a place to start as any. But he couldn't fight it as just a man.

Akamu needed to transform.

His fists clenched, and the man gulped, nerves and anxiety coursing through him. He remembered the last time he changed- the collateral damage and chaos he created during it. But if he didn't now, the swarms would eventually wear him down and tear him apart- along with the Gaia and the rest of the civilians around them. He cursed his poor luck even as his stone hammer sent another one of these smaller beasts flying. He glanced around him, pillars of stone shooting out of the ground to propel any civilian close to him away and towards Gaia's barrier. Satisfied that the immediate area was cleared, Akamu settled into a squat and surrounded himself in a cocoon of stone.

"Do you call upon me? Young Regalia of mine?" a voice rumbled through his head, low yet guttural, a grumble like the shaking of earth. "How many moons have passed since the last time you've communed with me directly?"

"I'm scared." Akamu admitted in the quiet of his mind's voice. Around him, he heard the scrape of teeth and claws trying to cut through the walls of stone he'd engulfed himself in. "I don't know what to do."

"Yes, you do." the rumbling voice chuckled in his ears, in every fiber of his being. Inside his cocoon, Akamu felt the warm grip of earth and stone wrapping and condensing around his feet. "The boy on the mountain was scared too. But he did not fear for himself, did he? Your sister needs you. My sister needs me."

"Get up little brother. We have a monster to fight."

The stone cocoon, practically covered in tooth swarms now, cracked and shifted, growing to the size of a building as it displaced land, home and beast alike. Like the earth itself cracking open, the stone cocoon shattered, sending razor sharp shards of stone into the beasts around it as from within a man of stone burst out of it and into the air, propelled forth by a pillar of stone. Titan careened through the air, not unlike a boulder propelled by a trebuchet, streaking towards the beast making its way out of the water, indiscriminately flying through air and ice, alike as it sought out its target.

The hammer in Titan's hands had turned into a veritable maul of stone, a pillar the length of streetlamp topped by a boulder the size of a car. Raised over his head as the Dominant collided with the side of the massive monster's head. With the weight of tons of stone behind him, Titan hung off the side of the beast, grabbing one of its many spikes or horns for leverage as he braced his feet against its hide. In one hand, the hammer lifted high up before Titan brought it down with earth rending force.

Again. Again. Like a worker hammering a railway spike, Titan would bring his hammer down until the beast stopped, or he was flung from the side of its face.

Post summary: Rath talks shit.
Rathello

Rath glared as the jestur spoke. Part condescending, part threatening. If Rath was scared at the mention of his name, he didn't show it. Instead he just looked angry. Was this guy gonna be that petty over a bit of code?

"You're a neckbeard with no friends sitting in the basement of your parents house, aren't you?" Rath spat. "Enjoy lording yourself around others- is it some sort of fetish? If you're so much more powerful than us, then why do you need to keep griefing other players? It's a fucking mid rank dungeon at best. Just boot another instance up yourself and get a copy of the artifact. It's not like you'll struggle."

Rath turned to the others and shrugged. "This dickhead can go fuck himself. If he's cheating or hacking he probably has some autododge script or no damage bullshit going on. Fuck it, let's just run the damn dungeon again, I don't wanna deal with this shit."

No point in getting it on with a cheater- it was an effort in futility. Even if they won, it'd hardly be worth it. Perhaps the ability to gloat at the hacker would've been fun- though arguing with idiots was never the best idea. Chances were, he'd just drag them down to his level of stupidity and beat them with experience.

"Let's bounce guys. We know where the room is now. I'll just grab some mana potions from my storage and just go with the storm bear from the start. Speed run this shit." Taking a step back and waving the rest of the party along, though not before also sending in his own GM report- hopefully multiple reports would get their attention. Glancing at the jester, Rath spat at the ground. "Go eat a dick once you're done sucking your own."
@Vietmyke *poke poke* It's your post.

Oh right! I'll get on it soon!
Well adjusted individuals? In my space opera?
Considering a Heavy mobile suit, and I'm trying to figure out what to do for a superheavy weapon. I've only really played Armored Core games out of all of the mentioned inspirations, so the only thing that's popping into my mind are the ultimate weapons from ACVD, particularly the Giga Cannon and the Giga Missile. Would those kind of things be classified under superheavy weaponry?

I don't have any knowledge on the giga cannon/missile, but maybe? Superheavy weapons are getting into the point of "This is basically a ship based weapon put into a mech's hands. Loosely anything that is capable of posing a credible threat to warships. It's like bringing a rocket launcher to a knife fight. It's often to the point that you'd probably have difficulty trying to use it to track another mech
For those that would like an example character to reference, my own character has been added to the bottom of the int check
@Psyker Landshark Mobile armor has been a thing for about 20 years, UEE made their first models about 10ish years ago, but didn't really begin rolling them out in considerable numbers until about 5 years ago

Elite pilots and special forces most likely had access to MAS 8-10 years ago. Rank and file have had access to MAS for about 5 years
