Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@AThousandCurses: This mostly looks good, however the appearance for your Echo should be a little less literal and a little more surreal, ideally. I want to avoid any looking too human.

I'd also suggest elaborating a little on its abilities, as you'll note I had Landsharks elaborate a bit more if you look back at the bio now.

Also while I won't be rescinding that acceptance, it was a mistake on my part. I'll instead be adding bios to a candidates list if they're potentially acceptable, since there's so much interest and I want to give everyone a fair shot before I start formal acceptances.
@Psyker Landshark: Accepted. Hey, there's our example.
@Pitsuji: Fully realized Echoes are for later on, with character development. I'll see if I can work out a good generic example that won't spoil too much, but that's a little difficult given the character is a big part of it too.

@DarckLeon: Yep, that's the idea.
Was that a maid, calling to her? But why? She didn't know any maids? Her family only had one, and this definitely wasn't her so-

Anne paused, staring in mute shock at the sight of the boy who had suddenly approached and hauled the maid to her feet.

There was no way she'd fail to recognize him. That was one of the capture targets, Reginald von Afah.

In other words, one of the people she wanted to interact with the least. There was no way she was going to approach the maid at all when he was around. It didn't matter what he was doing or saying, all that mattered is escaping from this situation as quickly as possible.

Turning on her heel and doing her best to vanish into the crowd, Anne was almost immediately encountered with the sight of another familiar but far less worrisome face.

Noctis Algretto was a boy, but he didn't have any flags. He was just a friend. She already knew him, in fact, and that made the fact he had just collapsed was an excellent excuse to get out of the courtyard and to somewhere less exposed as quickly as possible. Not to mention the fact that he'd just collapsed, someone had to help him!

"Ah, I... I should g-get you to the nurse's office!"

Escape as quickly as possible, make sure Noctis was okay. That was the plan in Anne's mind.

@Bartimaeus: I won't say no, but keep in mind I will only be accepting a max of seven people.
@Psyker Landshark: It is, but obviously Echoes are better overall. But also more taxing mentally.
@hatakekuro: Oh, yeah, that's the baseline. It varies how much so between them but that's their base state.
@hatakekuro: Ah, should have noted that more explicitly. All Echoes are impossible to permanently kill(without the user's death at least), though they can be temporarily destroyed, but that's about it.

They're also more likely to be vaguely humanoid then anything else, but that's not a hard and fast rule.
@TruthHurts22: Hmmm. I'm not planning on playing a consistent GMPC from the start, but let me see what I can do.
