Fell, she/they, English, currently obsessed with DnD and other ttrpgs. I do art sometimes. I am the GM of two tabletop roleplays on this very site:

- Beyond Moonlight's Reach, a story of four young dragons growing up in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world, and using the Powered by the Apocalypse game Epyllion.

- Search for Tir na Og, a DnD 5e campaign set in the Planescape setting where a group of strangers from all across the multiverse come together to solve the mystery about what happened to the Celtic gods after they and their homelands were mysteriously spirited away.

The moment Aster fell asleep, one could see a change in Jill's demeanor: a moment of panic flickered in her eyes as she quickly considered all the options available to her. From what she could recall from those many fights she had watched on the television, the way trainers usually woke up their pokemon was veer Awakening or a special type of berry. She had neither of those things.

So how else could she wake Aster up?

As that question ran through her mind, it was like a light bulb going off in her head. "One moment!" she said suddenly before turning around and running back into Camphor's lab as fast as she possibly could. She rushed into the reception area, pausing briefly to scan the area. She laid eyes on one of Camphor's assistants - Frieda, if she recalled correctly? - and quickly ran over to her. "Excuse me, do you happen to have a bucket I can borrow? I promise to bring it back," she said, speaking very quickly. She paused before adding, "Also, do you have a bathroom?"
Does anyone have anything they want to add? If not, I'm going to be moving us on and we're gonna have our cast reach the Capitol.
I was unable to think of one.

If you want, I can have you hold on to that question for the next time you want to study Fellwing.

As her ploy fails and the drowsiness started to overtake Aster, anyone would note the Aipom's attitude towards this fight take a sudden turn from playful to frustrated. Her eyelids droop and her body starts to feel heavy, and she has to keep angrily shaking herself as she tries to focus on her opponent. Everything else around her seems to lose importance, all she cares about is giving the sleepy Pokemon a piece of her mind. Aster charges forward as fast as her tired body can must and attempts to lay several scratches on the Slakoth.

While this happening, Jill's previously laid back demeanor did shift as she visibly winced. She knew Aster well enough that she wasn't about to take this situation lying down. Had they not been in a battle, she would have intervened immediately to stop her Pokemon from attacking. However, given the situation, she had a feeling that that wouldn't be acceptable here. Instead, she shot Nevine an apologetic look.
Redwing: My boy. *sniff* I'm so proud.

Come to think of it, half of Skobeloff's parents decided to give the middle finger to dragon society, albeit for very different reasons.

So really it was never a question of if Skobeloff would cause a revolution, it was just a matter of when.
Skobeloff: That's a nice society you have there.
Skobeloff: Be a shame if something happened to it.
The next step--- uh, revolution, I guess?

Oh god.

Well, I didn't expect complete political upheaval this early in the roleplay, but I guess that just makes me the fool.
Vipereyes: We made an oopsie.
Fellwing: Oopsie? You wiped out an entire species!
Vipereyes: ... we made a big oopsie.
There was a long pause at Fellwing's question, as several dragons in the party suddenly seemed to stop whatever they were doing to look in the black drake's direction. It wasn't quite the same silence that would have occurred had someone brought up, say, Yeraktos, or some similar event that happened during the Age of Darkness. Even several generations later, with no dragons alive to remember those days, the wounds from that time felt fresh in the memory of dragonkind. But this... this was a much older scar, one that had faded enough that most had forgotten it was still there.

"Well, that was a long time ago," Vipereyes said. She didn't sound angry or upset, only slightly puzzled that the conversation had taken this particular shift. "You have to understand that that was before the Darkness, before the Houses even. Dragon society was practically in its infancy, and we didn't understand a lot of the things we do now. In fact, it's down to things like the extinction of the unicorns that the Houses and the Council were founded in the first place: to prevent things like that from occurring again. She squinted over at Fellwing, regarding her with a wary curiosity. "You're from House Kebros, correct? I'd assumed your elders would instill in you the value of mistakes, and how we can only grow by making them." Unlike many comments the Seer might have heard about her House, there didn't seem to be any malice in what Vipereyes was saying. She sounded more confused by the idea of a dragon from the House of Ruby being opposed to her values.
Not sure how to do the video displays but found this YouTube short.

Kinda fits with this campaign idea I think.

Funnily enough, someone actually made a module called "Adventures in ADHD" based on this exact prompt. Here's a link to it on itch io if anyone is interested. It looks pretty fun.

... though I think after this campaign, our party is going to be just absolutely done with the fey and their nonsense. xD
