Bio

Fell, she/they, English, currently obsessed with DnD and other ttrpgs. I do art sometimes. I am the GM of two tabletop roleplays on this very site:

- Beyond Moonlight's Reach, a story of four young dragons growing up in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world, and using the Powered by the Apocalypse game Epyllion.

- Search for Tir na Og, a DnD 5e campaign set in the Planescape setting where a group of strangers from all across the multiverse come together to solve the mystery about what happened to the Celtic gods after they and their homelands were mysteriously spirited away.

Using her newly disembodied state, Fellwing follows the strange wires further into the forest, hoping to locate their source. She eventually traces it back to the opening of a mine, presumably the mine Skobeloff had mentioned earlier, and she sees the wires crossing over the entrance, as if trying to keep something out. She then, for a moment, sees a flash of something: the bright, illusory bodies of a couple of dragons performing some sort of spell, but it's gone very quickly. However, she can gleam from it that this is some sort of older magic that other dragons performed a while ago, likely to keep others from going into the mine. However, the magic has been left unchecked for so longer that seemed to have... overgrown almost, like an un-attended plant, and has spread outwards to create the strange effect that Fellwing experienced trying to approach the mine.

At Skobeloff saying he had wanted to check up on him, Coryn tilts his head to the side. "Me?" he says. He gives big smile. "Oh, I'm fine. Just tired from working all day... also may have swallowed some medicine that makes people sleepy, so there's that." He stretched out his front claws. "See, my front legs are a bit on the stubby side, so picking stuff up can be... tricky. I also don't have claws on my wings like a few other dragons, so I sometimes have to pick up stuff my jaws."

"It is an actual miracle that you haven't poisoned yourself yet," Lazward says.

Coryn give him a look. "Hey, I don't pick up the really dangerous plants in my jaws!" he protests. He then looks at the floor before mumbling, "Besides, Heliotrope doesn't usually let me around those anyway."

"No, really, I wonder why," Lazward responds flatly.

"Hm?" It took Rudrick a moment to recall what Shieldwing was referring to. "Oh! That!" He slaps his forehead with one of his wings. "Just overseeing some simple flight exercises for some of the newly-winged drakes." He laughs. "You know, a lot of them think that once they can use their wings that flying will come naturally to them, but it's not always true. I know me and Garrock certainly weren't the strongest fliers starting out."
Since Rush did it, I decided to answer class questions for Miloh as well.

Though err... don't expect him to be as articulate as Mr Trafalgar. xD

I wonder what custard genies would be called or what kind of traits custard genasi would have.

Listen, you joke, but my world-building brain is tempted to actually do something with this idea. Or at least make a character inspired by it.
I just remembered that, thanks to this module, custard damage is a thing.

Look forward to the super secret boss of Search for Tir na Og that does only custard damage.

No wait... consider...

Elemental Plane of Custard.

Jub the Peculiar

Jub looked alarmed at the sudden sound, an expression that only grew when Brutrumukk voiced his desire to fight whatever had made it. "We don't know if it's the cat, Brutrumukk," Jub pointed out. "It could be... anything. And we're not exactly in top condition right now." The exhaustion in his voice was clear as he said that last sentence. He looked up at Aaliyah. "Would you know about anything that would be making that sound?" He was half-hoping she would say they had a rambunctious pet dog, or a very clumsy servant, or... something. Anything that meant they wouldn't have to fight right now.
Uh oh, Azorigal is a dragon

I have been looking forward to Tanrith's reaction to this for some time now, and it didn't disappoint.

@XxFellsingxX

Rolled a 6. No good.

Yeaaah, Beigeiros don't feel so good right now... He has the poisoned condition for the next, err, let's saying half an hour in game. (Don't worry, I won't apply it to his investigation check this time.)

Got a 18 on the intelligence check though.

@XxFellsingxX

I got a 15 on an Investigation check on the map. ^_^

Okay so!

Both of you recognise this, though it takes Aaliyah a little longer as she initially thinks it's depicting the Elemental Plane of Air due to certain landmarks, like floating pieces of land and such. However, there's also a lot of things she doesn't recognise and eventually, she puts together that she is looking at a map... or rather, an ATTEMPT to map the Elemental Chaos, based on the stories Ishaan has told her about the place.

Beigeiros however recognises it almost immediately because he's likely seen it in his travels as a Plane-tender. The Plane-tenders don't often go into the Elemental Chaos because it's kind of difficult to tend to being, well, the Elemental Chaos but he likely has spied certain land marks from distance from any time he's been called to the elemental planes.

I imagine Garnet isn't terribly concerned about the map, but she would likely take a look around to see if anything else stands out to her as interesting and, uh--- acquisition-worthy. Should I roll for that instead?

Also heads up, will be gone for the rest of the week, but can resume writing next week!

Sure. Roll either 'investigation' or 'perception'.
Also, because Rush reminded me that the incorrect quotes generator existed, I got these gems...

Skobeloff: People tell me I have a unique way of lighting up a room.
Stargaze: It’s called arson and those people are called witnesses.

Stargaze: You have any sunscreen?
Skobeloff: You can't get a sunburn from a bonfire—
Stargaze: It's for my marshmallow ya dummy.

Shieldwing: How the hell are you still alive?
Fellwing: Honestly, I’m just as confused as you are.

Shieldwing: Legend says that when you can’t sleep, it means you’re awake in someone else’s dreams.
Shieldwing: When I find out who you are, I’m going to punch you in the face.

Shieldwing: Ladies, gentlemen and Fellwing, I want to show you the greatest thing your eyes have ever beheld!
Skobeloff: A llama?
Shieldwing: No.
Skobeloff: A baby llama?
Shieldwing: No!
Skobeloff: A baby llama with a little hat on?
Shieldwing: NO!

Skobeloff: When I get Doordash I order 20 Cheeseburgers at a time and heat them up throughout the week so that I don’t have to pay the delivery fee multiple times.
Shieldwing: I hope you understand how food poisoning works.
Skobeloff: I hope food poisoning understands how I work. I never met a burger i couldn’t eat.

Skobeloff: You might not know this, Shieldwing, but I am a flawed person.
Shieldwing: I do know that.

Fellwing: Welcome to my very first vlog, in which I try different hair products!
Fellwing: *sprays hairspray in their mouth*
Fellwing: Well, right off the bat I can tell you this one is not very good.

Stargaze: I am in charge of this disaster!
Skobeloff: I have a name, you know.
I can only interpret Arndells 14 as this not being the first time he's done this

I chose to interpret it as "he really wasn't expecting to have to wax lyrical about Raella's magical skills while they were in the middle of nowhere"..

Which, tbf, is his own fault. He should always be prepared to tell everyone how great Raella is.
