She was glad she'd come over, else she'd have spent the rest of the time before the opening ceremony bored out of her mind. Making friends wasn't exactly hard (keeping them was another matter), but it was... let's say it could get complex at this age, unlike the simple connections of childhood. The four of them had still only barely met, so they weren't friends by any stretch of the imagination, but they were easy enough to talk to - even the nervous one. A decent first step. 

Gendou brought up Yoshiba's quirk, so Touko's attention was drawn again to the girl's tentacle-like hair. It was very cool. She was only a bit jealous as she considered the potential of even one extra hand. A whole head of them sounded great, she could do so much at once! It sounded like Yoshiba knew exactly how useful her quirk was, too. She'd better, I'd kill someone for an extra pair of arms!

It seemed the conversation was drifting towards quirks, as it usually did with kids and teenagers meeting for the first time. It was especially relevant in a school like this. Touko was mildly interested, but not so much so that Kokone's plan to draw her attention wouldn't work. The other girl gave a more specific location that she'd lived in Tokyo - the use of the word "lived" struck Touko as strange. 

So Meguro and Kōtō, huh. Touko didn't have any strong feelings about those wards, or any wards save some exceptions. As for Kagoshima... well, it was safe to say she'd never been, and she didn't know much about it. Living down there, Yoshiba was the exact opposite of the northerners of Sapporo. Why'd she come up here, then? Couldn't get into UA? Lol.

To be fair, the same question could be posed to Kokone and Gendou. For Touko though, UA was her back-up choice. She'd wanted to see if she could get into the notorious Ishin, and she had - so there was no need to even apply to UA. Would have been a lot warmer, though!

Kokone had also asked her name. It had been a long time since she'd introduced herself to anyone that it hadn't crossed her mind at all. 

"Ah, that's right. Heh, how silly of me." Touko pushed one finger against the bridge of her glasses, adjusting them higher on her face. She closed her eyes as she told her name, though. "Tachibana Touko. Touko-sama is fine.

"I live in Toshima City. Easy to remember, right? Tachibana of Toshima, Tokyo."

She sat back in her seat, a self-satisfied smile on her face. "For the record, I also have a sweet quirk. You'll get to see it eventually. Class 1A, I presume?"

Students trudged on, stragglers picked up their pace, and small groups that had stopped to chat broke up and began moving. It was definitely time to head inside now. Riona shuffled away from the densest parts of the crowd, though he followed the general flow. His footsteps crunched on the frost covering the ground, and his breath turned to fog, but he was doing way better with the cold than many other students judging from the many sneezes and sniffles going on. There was a lot of complaining from some poor souls that were reduced to shivering. Really sucks to be them, he thought, shaking his head.

Riona noted from the corner of his eye that someone was coming up next to him. When he turned, he was surprised to find a blonde girl with tired eyes and a mole high on her cheek. One of the ones he'd seen loitering earlier, maybe? He couldn't tell. Apparently she was a good samaritan offering directions. Riona frowned. I don't really look that lost, do I? ...eh, wait, what was the first thing she said?

His mind reversed, playing her words over again. He actually squinted, his eyes looking around briefly to make sure it was him that she was talking to. It was.

Damn, big city girls were bold. 

"All set on directions," he told her, which was only half true. Technically he didn't know where the assembly hall was, but he was sure he could find it. Either way, he wasn't lost. His face broke into a smile wide enough to show off his teeth. "But since you're offering, I definitely wouldn't mind your company."

He politely slowed his gait. "You a first year too?"
