Name
Samuel, or Sam for short
Sex
Technically, robots don’t have a gender (and he does lack that sort of anatomy), but he is programmed to be like a human male.
Age
73
Species
Robot
Personality
Samuel is typically polite to people unless they give him a reason not to be. A programmed servant, his instinct is to be helpful and professional. His main goal since the loss of his employer is to defeat the Corruption somehow; even if he only can help a little, Sam will do what he can to fulfill this ambition.
History
The
Beacon-class Servebot™ was made by the Platinum Corporation, a maker of high-end robots and weapons, as a servant robot to be sold to the rich people of the Empire. 73 years ago this particular machine, designated as Samuel by some corporate salesperson, was sold to a rich political type. This man was the typical corrupt politico; buying and selling favors, entertaining the rich and famous with parties, and so on. It was at one of these parties 10 months after the purchase that the politician lost a bet; as payment, the man gave up Samuel to the man he would serve for the next 20+ years.
General Nelson “The Lance” Armstrong, so called because of his bravery and penchant for offensive strategy, would become a father-like figure to Samuel. Unlike the politician, Nelson was a good man and would do the best he could to protect the people of the Empire. Sadly, the Corruption was an enemy too strong even for his tactics, and they overtook his ship. Just before this, General Armstrong ordered Sam to go into an empty missile and launched him away from the Corruption so at least
one being from the unit would survive. Samuel then spent the next 50 or so years in space, drifting to his final destination; that is, the place where our story begins...

Appearance
The robot looks like it is wearing a standard black and white tuxedo (although that is just his exterior); otherwise, he looks like the image below.
