Emma sighed lightly, "That makes sense though, I'm sure besides me there are people who would be willing or crazy enough to try." Despite the fact she would be unable to reach the weapons she reached her hand in anyway. Sure enough she ran into an invisible force about half way through. Emma removed her hand quickly, "I'm not sure I want to know how many volts that was. My name is Emma by the way. I'll give you a little tip, I ran into some one earlier who claimed to have died and then woke up in his cell. I don't know how much stock you want to put in it but I thought you guys might like that. Also, does any one know how to fly this ship, I could but we'd have a fifty fifty chance of crashing."

"The boy was moving a bit slow for my pace, so I was forced to leave him behind. As for the possibility of us being potential products, in my experience, such a transaction normally takes place with the use of portable cryogenic chambers. It makes it much easier to move the "meat" between ships." Jacque said as he entered the room. The man didn't bother to entertain Marcus' comment about him being able to bite whatever stood in his way, however, Kijani's input was something he felt required a response. Jacque stopped in front of the young woman and removed his glasses to look her in the eye, "You've got quite the silver tongue on you to be so young, my dear. What's more, you seem to be very well educated, almost to the point were I would expect to find you more at home at a gathering of social elites rather than on a ship full of criminals. However, I feel as though I should impart a few words of wisdom...", he trailed off as he leaned down, the smile never leaving his face, "You should be a bit more careful about how you speak to someone. You might just find that silver tongue of yours being torn from your skull.". Jacque's eyes bored into Kijani's for a few seconds more before he stood back up and donned his glasses, "Not to say that I myself would do such a thing of course, seeing as a man doesn't get to be my age without growing a thick skin, my fear is that if there are more criminals aboard this vessel, they may not take to kindly to being spoken to in such a manner.".

Despite seeing Marcus becoming zapped by the weapons, the restless Warden became excited at the vision of weapons. Several people have appeared in the room but Warden's excitement trampled all over her and held on the weapons with her sleeves. Electricity surged into Warden in a short-circuiting outburst of electricity as she touched it, causing her to become electrocuted, sapping her life force away. "Heeeeeerrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh..." And boom goes the power circuit. Warden falls to the ground with a loud clunk, dead.

"AUNTIE!" She yelled out, as if waking up from some horror dream. She felt around her body with her sleeves believing and thinking she was okay. Her eyes peered and the room was silent. Where is Auntie Kijani and Marcus? "Hhhheeeeeelllloooooooo..." She said into the empty, dark corridor.

At Jacque's reaction, Kijani's smile became stunning; she was downright happy. "A few well-placed words, and suddenly you move to physical intimidation and subtle threat. My, my... With all the disdain you have for humans, you're well on your way to acting like one." She chuckled flirtatiously. "As for being careful... Age does not suddenly impart wisdom. I may have my youth, but it doesn't take a hundred years to know how the universe operates. I can quite handle myself. But I do thank you-" She winked at him, her lips twisting into a very, very brief kissing motion. "A lady does so love attention."

The sound of Warden being shocked to death tore her right out of her carefully worded tease. A look of horror flashed across her face as the child's lifeless body hit the ground. "Warden!" She knew, intellectually, that a child Warden's size couldn't survive such a dose of electricity. She could see very well that the girl wasn't breathing, and the twitching in her muscles was merely mechanical. None of that stopped her from kneeling and starting CPR, insulting the girl all the while. "Warden, you silly thing, why would you go and do that for? Oh, you're a smart child, you know how electricity works! One, two, three-" She started to compress the child's chest, but after a few minutes of this knew that there was no hope. "...dammit." This was likely the first time she'd been shaken up during this whole experience.

Marcus tilted his head at Emma's remark of flying the ship thinking it was quite odd, but he didn't dwell on it too much as he was distracted by Jacque getting real close to Kijani. It was at this moment as he watched calmly the Warden made her way to the weapons and reached in drying to grab one as if the field they spoke of earlier were just a fairy tale to keep people away. Marcus' concentration on wanting to kill Jacque, but not having a weapon, was broken by the loud zap and cry from Warden. He turned to see her laying on the ground twitching various parts of her body from the surge of electricity she had received.

Watching Kijani rush to warden's aid he made his way slowly to her side, kneeling down, and out a hand on her shoulder. "she's gone." he said in a sympathetic tone. "it's not of any good to try after a shock like that." Marcus stood again and saw that the weapons were now made available by Warden's act of ignorance. "what should we do with her?" Marcus may not be good at the timing of this question, seeing as it wasn't two minutes afterwards.

Before Jacque had gotten the chance to think of a response to Kijani, the air had filled with a combination of shrieks from the young girl, the sound of a circuit blowing, and the scent of slightly charred flesh. The man watched as Kijani rushed to Warden's aid and fruitlessly attempted to revive the child, he stayed silent as Marcus came over and spoke the words that no one else likely would. Jacque slowly walked over to the pair as they hovered over the body and knelt down, staring into the still, lifeless eyes of the child before reaching out and closing them. Surprisingly, Jacque did not inquire as to whether or not he could drain the corpse of its blood, nor did he make an attempt to, rather, he reached into his coat and pulled out a pair of old, worn silver coins which he had barely managed to smuggle onto the vessel before being placed in cryosleep, and gently laid them on Warden's eyes. Jacque got up, dusted himself a bit, and returned to the spot that he had once been standing, still remaining silent. Truth be told, Jacque felt as sorry for Warden as he did for anyone that he'd killed, which was to say, not at all. Still, the fact that someone in his presence appeared to grieve her passing, he felt as though some respect for the dead was required.

Kijani exhaled when Marcus came to her side. She didn't realize her hands hurt from trying to compress the child's chest. Slowly, she placed her hands in her lap, only to nearly go for her vines when Jacque came near. She wouldn't let that disgusting creature near this child's body.

To her surprise, Jacque simply shut little Warden's eyes, and pressed the coins over them. The gesture was unexpected, to say the least. Kijani bowed her head in a moment of silence, before she got up. Her eyes were dry, but distant. She walked toward Jacques, and inclined her head in a polite nod. "Passage across the River Styx... looks like real silver, too. Warden would like that, I think." Her gaze picked up briefly. "Thank you for your courtesy."

Turning away, she went still, inhaled, and exhaled slow, as if trying to aerate every inch of her body. Once that was done, she looked toward Marcus. "I think cremation would be the best way to take care of her."

Emma shook her head slightly, most would think in mourning but it was really boredom. This was beginning to feel like a monumental waste of time. She wasn't about to say anything about it though, she didn't want to appear heartless. Instead she busied herself with selecting a weapon that she would hopefully not need.

"You are most welcome my dear." Jacque said as he watched Kijani recollect herself. Once she moved on to the subject of how to remove the body, Jacque decided to entertain himself by browsing the weapons that were available. He still found such things to be barbaric of course, however even he had to admit that humans came up with some truly marvelous things with which to murder one another. "You know.." He began as he inspected a rifle, "..I often find myself wondering what things humanity could achieve if they used their creative abilities strictly for the sake of the betterment of their race rather than to make war machines.". The vampire gingerly reached out and plucked up a knife before spinning it and flipping it in his hand as though it were second nature, "Mmm...the blade's a tad too thick on this one, with a handle this short i'm afraid that this particular weapon would be a bit too unbalanced to use to its full potential." he said as he replaced the knife.

Marcus almost jumped on Jacque as he approached Warden's lifeless body, but held himself in check once he realized what he was doing. 'I guess he is not all bad.' he thought to himself. Watching both Emma and Jacque peruse the weapons he Marcus nodded at Kijani's suggestion of cremation. "We can do that in the cargo hold." he said looking to Kijani. "that way we can also let her out into the stars." Marcus figured that it would be better to have her sucked into space rather than the put in the engine furnace.

Standing, but not moving from Kijani's side Marcus spoke again. "Jacque, if you would, see if there is a sheet or blanket of sorts around. As much as you want to complement our race with your insults I think we should take care of Warden before selecting our 'murder' tools." Marcus put a sarcastic emphasis on murder to spite his statement. Then started looking around as well. "We will also need..." he trailed off as ha walked to a compartment with little round balls no bigger than a lemon. "... a non violent ignition. She shall have a funeral like the Vikings of old." Marcus said with a small hint of enthusiasm.

A metal door slid open to one of the prisoner cyro chambers that failed to open before, letting out a pointy figgure. He expected to be grabbed by guards and dragged to a huge room where he would be slain in front of billions of people, some of those people over holo-vid viewers. But as he stood there, no guards came. Blue was free. "I'm... free?" He asked. He then stepped out of the chamber and looked around. He was free. "I'm free! I'm free!" He shouted happily. He then sang in elvish as he preformed a native victory dance, which was very close to the modern dancing of today.

Jason had fallen behind as Jaques made his was to his destination. Stopping and leaning against a support arch to catch his breath Jason began to talk to no one in particular. "That vampire must also have some kind of super stamina." after making his remark, Jason heard a noise behind him. Tightening his grip on the alloy sword he turned assuming a fighting stance, but saw nothing. "hmm..." knowing the likes of the possible people on board Jason did not let down his guard as he turned and continued to the armory. It wasn't long, though, before he turned a corner and caught a glimpse of someone who was not in their company. He froze in place making no noise and trying to listen for whoever it was he saw, but there was nothing aside from the sound of the ship. 'they are not just wandering around, they wouldn't be perfectly quiet if they were-'
"Boo" someone whispered startling Jason into action. He saw only a masked figure before he felt his hands on his head, everything was dark and immense pain radiated from his eyes. Yelling he reached up, dropping his sword and grabbing the assailant' wrists then his head was whipped to the side.

The masked figure withdrew his hands shaking them as he watched Jason's limp body fell to the ground. "Sorry, I need your..." he stopped and let out a heavy sigh as the sword melted into a liquid. "I guess I won't be getting that one then." without a second thought to Jason, now just a corpse, he walked away looking for another weapon.

Unaware of the demise of his "comrade", Jacque was preoccupied with attempting to pry open the door to the crew's quarters. "Come now you blasted thing, just open..." he hissed as he jammed his cane into a small crack of the door and began to wedge it open as far as he could without damaging the cane. Once the doors were opened wide enough for him to slip his hand in, Jacque tucked the cane under his arm and pried open the doors slowly, taking great care to peer into the room through the slowly widening crack for any sign of life, or more importantly, danger. With the room seemingly clear, Jacque opened the doors completely and stepped into the room and raised a brow as he realized just how much stuff had been left behind after the crew disappeared. There were all manner of clothing and other personal affects strewn about the room, a few beds had been flipped, however these things didn't catch his attention nearly as much as the body lying atop one of the overturned mattresses. Jacque strolled over to the body and prodded with his cane, "It looks as though he was trampled to death. An unfortunate way to go." the vampire said with a blank expression. Not bothering to honor a random corpse like he had done the child, Jacque snatched a blanket from the ground and started to walk out when he had a moment of realization: The body wasn't that old, and it being here meant there where likely still plenty of dead aboard, all still filled with semi-fresh blood. Jacque spun on his heel, grabbed the body by the collar, then plopped the blanket onto it's head before once more heading for the exit. "I may not have to eat the others after all. Well, at least not immediately anyway. I'll just drop you in one of the cryo chambers and deposit this blanket for the child, then I can see if I find any of your friends" he said to the body as he dragged it along.

Ralof pushes a random button to open the door. He wasn't paying attention, so he gets thrown out of the air lock because it was the wrong button.

Blue soon stopped and looked around. The place seemed quite lifeless... but it was a ship, and he could smell people, and blood. "Might as well find someone around this place and figgure out what happened." The elf said to himself. And with that he started to randomly walk around, shouting a 'hello?' from time to time.

Emma had left the armory without a weapon, she was better that that. Well that's what she told herself, she actually got distracted by her own thoughts and left. In fact she was still thinking when she stepped in a puddle of metallic goo. Her first thought was that it was mercury her second was to wipe it on a near by corpse. Except she didn't because she realized that she just thought of wiping whatever was on her foot on a dead body. That was one of many things that society generally frowned upon. So she didn't, instead she stepped over the dead body and continued walking, lost once again in thought and now with a metallic trail because she never ended up wiping the goo off.

The bridge of the Serendipity was quite and still as there was no one there to disturb the ghostly nature of this mostly abandoned ship. Almost all the halls and rooms were lifeless due to the disappearance of the crew and small group of prisoners that were about the ship. The masked figure who killed the young man found himself nearing the bridge when he came across the pale body of a woman with strange marks about her neck. "Well, well... Looks like you found the wrong end of a vampire's kiss." kneeling down he ran his fingers across the marks then stood and rubbed them together taking note of a small amount of blood. "some what fresh." he stated walking into the bridge through the busted doors, completely disregarding the body as he went. Looking around he saw books and pages laying about. Making his way to the shelf he placed a finger where a book once was and narrowed his eyes. "Someone else fond it..." Standing there for a moment longer he then went to a control console, typing a pass code, and accessed the communications.

Before locking the system the man changed course then turned and left. "time for some sport. "

Marcus kneeled again next to Kijani and began to comfort her. "I am sure that Warden is in a place far better than we. She-" he paused, standing quickly but not abruptly. "do you feel that?" he asked as he stared into nothing. "We are changing course."
