The reviews are coming along well now, but a few players need to fulfill the final CS requirement, that of composing an exit scene for their character(s) in case of an emergency of some sorts that means you'll have to drop out. The characters in question are:
@MonkeyBusiness’ Jade
@Lucius Cypher’ unsubmitted character
@Howler’s Arix Vaas
@Sonatina’s Miran Salem
@Sep’s Koren
@Bigscreech’s Avix
@My Lalia’s Blokere
@Flagg’s Callidus
@Hexaflexagon’s Quasasll
@Sep’s Lorn
@Heat’s Jakali
@Tzarima’s Ven'ren

If you’ve PM’d one and we’ve forgotten to post it in our depository, then don’t hesitate to point out the PM to us. With so many PMs about Aftermath, one or two may have gotten lost.
We're also keeping a running tally on here:

Indeed you did, Genni. We almost forgot about it, though.

@Howler
Ellri notes:
It would be beneficial for ease of reading to have the section titles and such bolded or similarly formatted.

For appearance. How tall is he? Is he thick? thin? muscular? Does he have any physical characteristics that the image does not portray?

Force Powers ok’d.

Slight misunderstanding it seems. The RP starts during the Sacking, not after it. The last section would be better left for IC and then expanded.

Echo Notes:
While your character very much suits Juyo, i’m afraid it simply isn’t feasible for him to have knowledge in the form. If he were ten years older, yes. Juyo however, due to its unusual nature and need to skirt close to the dark side to be effective, simply isn’t taught to padawans, no matter whether they are up and coming prodigies or not. Jedi in particular teach it less than the Sith do, and in this time of war, only to those that have both the skill and mental fortitude to resist the added darkness of it.
Arix, though not obviously in danger, still doesn’t strike me as the kind to seem a light side fanatic either.

While I like the way you’ve put together a Lightsaber Focused character, there are still limits on what a young individual can learn in terms of martial skills, especially without gaining battlefield experience, not to mention rapid physical changes the body undergoes during adolescence. Though I’m alright with him having two or even three well known forms, he would have good technical mastery of them, without the experience that makes a truly excellent duelist.

It would also help to know what age he was taken by the Jedi - as knowing how much Echani training he had beforehand helps me to gauge his very early martial arts ability.

------------------------------------
@Tzarima
Appearance:
How tall is he? is he thick? thin? Muscular? Lean? Does his mask cover the entire head or just the face? if the latter, is any hair or such visible? What color are his clothes?
It would not be surprising if he’s got a fair range of scars beneath his clothes, right?

Flaws: How does his flaws affect his personality? Playing an insane character is a difficult task. Do you have a plan for exactly how it will affect him?

We got a bit of an idea while reading about how he hates all sorts of things without it being quite consistent.
How about rather than hating everything and everyone, he has a few “focus areas” for it. To suggest say three, how about:
The Jedi, for not saving him from the Sith.
The Sith, for doing all this to him.
Himself, for what he has become and not being strong enough to resist it.

This would leave him still relatively sane in other areas, but also explain why he’s not entirely redeemable for the Jedi. With insane characters, you need to balance it between too mad and too sane. The former cannot be used reliably, while the latter removes the point of insanity.

During his “re-education” process he would have been taught as best as the Sith Overseers could do. They would have done their best to purge all weakness from him, especially that rooted in Jedi ways. While some overseers might only want to break captives, most want their captives to become useful to the Empire and to the Sith.

To not let all your fine work go to waste: Perhaps his new Sith master, or at least the overseer in charge of him, sent him into that tomb to harden him and to remove virtually all of his connection to the Light Side? Deep down in a Sith tomb, you won’t last long with just using the Light Side. Not only are there threats from other apprentices, but the tomb itself won’t be particularly nice. If that process would take him a year or two, then some masters would consider it worthwhile. One thing is sure… The Sith walking out of there wouldn’t have much in common with the Jedi who was sent in.

To offer another suggestion: Perhaps his master monitored his progress? No matter if the master saw him useable or not, monitoring would be worthwhile. If nothing else, as a study of his descent into insanity.

Once the Sith had control over Korriban, they did not train much at all upon Dromund Kaas. Only if their masters chose to train them there would they be there.

His Force capabilities puts him as incapable of wielding any of the typical dark side powers.

@Ellri Sheet edited, should be good with the alterations.

@Sundered Echo Edited that as well, though his hand-to-hand combat is something he would have worked to keep up and progress with alongside his lightsaber combat. The latter is his focus, but I figure he's about as capable a physical combatant as it's a fifteen year old can be.

As a mild counter, be careful how much you discount technical knowledge and what a young person is capable of learning and achieving martially. Having worked relatively extensively with young fencers, I've seen first hand the skill that can be achieved by a focused individual at a young age, puberty or no. Especially with the Makashi, which relies on precision rather than strength and has many such parallels, he's had plenty of time to be a pretty significant threat (though his Djem So is probably a bit weak against more fully-grown opponents).

That being said, he does of course lack battlefield experience--all his knowledge would be technical and such. My references to him as a duelist are all more about his potential--and possible sparring notoriety--rather than any actual battlefield accomplishments.

Personally I'm strongly opposed to a character having more than one Lightsaber form, as each is a distinct fighting style which would have to be learnt at an instinctual level.

In the canon most Masters only know two forms, after spending decades both training and gaining field experience in real combat, notable exceptions being Yoda, Cin Drallig and Soru Bulq, all of whom gained the title of swordmaster having mastered six forms, and Mace Windu who mastered seven, having replaced the Juyo form with his own Vaapad style instead. All of these Jedi were in their later years, all over the age of fifty at the time apart from Yoda who was over 850.

To presume that characters as young as most of those taking part in the RP have greater skill than a seasoned veteran seems a little out of place, no matter how much training they may have done in the last ten years.

Indeed, Genni. If anyone knows multiple forms at a young age, its on the basic level only. Aside from form VII, it is not unusual for padawans to be taught the bare bones of the various forms to see which is best for them, though it will often also depend on what sort of instructors are available. It takes many years to truly learn even a single form, decades to master it. One thing that is often forgotten is that many Jedi don't use just one of those seven basic forms, but rather a conglomeration of several forms, a mixture that fits their particular combat style.

Shii-Cho (Form I) is normally the opening form for most Jedi, as it was originally developed as the bridge between traditional bladed weapons and the lightsabers and gave the basis for all other forms, the fundamental movements of which all derive from this form. After that Soresu (Form III) and Ataru (Form IV) were the most commonly taught, with the former specialising more on defense while the latter gave more aggressive options.

Niman (Form VI) was developed as a fallback for those Jedi who showed little skill with a lightsaber, focusing instead on easily performed maneuvers which would allow a Jedi to instead focus on their use of the Force, combining telekinetic attacks with their bladework. While quite common it was not as widely taught as Soresu or Ataru, and some viewed Niman a sign of failure as originally only those weak at Shii-Cho were trained in the form. However after the Old Sith Wars ended (297 years before the Sacking) the form took on a more spiritual significance as its practitioners were seen to have a stronger bond with the Force than other lightsaber forms.

Shien and Djem So (both later combined into Form V) were developed in parallel, with the former specialising in ranged defense while the latter dealt with close combat blocking and counter-attacks. This form was considered a refinement of Soresu and taught to Jedi who showed a more balanced nature than the more defensive practitioners of the earlier form, as it gave the option for refined attacks while still having a strong emphasis on defense. As specialist forms Shien and Djem So were considered unusual at the time of the Old Republic, although were still common enough to be taught regularly at the Jedi Temple.

Following the Great Hyperspace War and the Old Sith Wars the Makashi form (Form II) fell out of practice, as very few lightsaber wielding opponents in the galaxy made the sparring form of use only against other Jedi. By the time of the Sacking only a few Masters were available to train new students in the form and although the return of the Sith made the form greatly desirable, few managed to attain any level of skill before the Sith invasion.

The least common of all forms was the Juyo form (Form VII) which was highly aggressive and required practitioners to access the darker sides of their nature in order to perfect, something many within the Jedi Order maintained was a bad compromise for the unarguably more powerful aggressive attacks the form taught. It should be noted that most Jedi who turned to the Dark Side during the relatively peaceful years between the Sith Wars had, at some time or another, studied the Juyo form. Much later a new form, known as Vaapad, was developed by Mace Windu in order to overcome the dangers of the Juyo form, but out of the four known Jedi Masters to study Vaapad only Mace Windu never fell to the Dark Side, while Quinlan Vos managed to return to the Light after only a short period under the influence of the Dark Side.

Basically all Padawans would've been taught Shii-Cho initially, and only later would they specialise into another form more suited to their temperament, achieving mastery in their new form rather than continuing their studies in Shii-Cho. Most Jedi Knights would've been expected to have mastered at least one lightsaber form before becoming a Master, although this was not always the case, and most Masters studied a second form in addition to their first soon after achieving their rank.

It's generally considered that a period of ten-fifteen years is required to master a lightsaber form, although in some cases this may take exceedingly longer when a practitioner's natural temperament conflicts with their chosen form's styles and aesthetics.

The only thing missing in your sheet now from what we can see is relations. Echo might have a point or two, but the essentials are done. Just remember not to have him fall to the dark side quickly or easily and that he probably won't be too good with two different lightsaber combat styles, for reasons stated above by various folks.

Try to throw 2-3 of those in with other characters, then it should be more or less good for posting in the CS tab.

Plural form of members of the Zabrak species is Zabrak, not Zabrak’s or Zabraks.

Your list of flaws don’t really feel… personal… They have a textbook quality to them. They’re decent flaws, but they don’t feel like they belong to that character. Could you try to make them more personal for Blokere?

It wouldn’t hurt to do the same for racial traits. You can simplify that section quite a lot. Besides, racial traits include both boons and flaws. Keeping all the bits that are rooted in being Zabrak there rather than in the flaws might help Blokere claim the flaws for himself better.

On skills:
Mastering even a single lightsaber form takes decades. He could be pretty good with one, but no mastery, let alone with two forms. Maybe experienced with the two?

On bio:
First of all… How old was he upon being taken by the Jedi? The earlier he got taken, the less he would have learned from family and clan.

Secondly: The first half of the second paragraph is unrealistically idealistic. Parents are notorious for loving their children and not being willing to give them up. “because it is best for him” is an argument that rarely computes in the mind of a mother/father if that means giving up your child. Especially an only child.

The younger the child is, the easier it is to give it up. That is one of the reasons the Jedi prefer to take children when they’re still very young. Another reason is to have more of a blank template to work with. With the lessons given here, it seems like many years passed before the Jedi took him.

Thirdly: Telekinesis isn’t an easy skill to learn. Its not typically the first sign that appears. To attentive parents, other signs would appear much earlier, like unusually acute senses or objects moving randomly about. Being able to make a dropped object hover requires practice, especially when it is unexpectedly dropped.

Fourthly. The Rite of Passage. When that time came around, they would not send him alone. For practical reasons, they would probably send another Zabrak Jedi with him, as one of the same species would have a better understanding of the rites of passage. With The Jedi order having members in the tens of thousands, finding another Zabrak Iridonian would be no trouble at all. He would go through the rite, then be taken back to finish his training. Other than what the rites demanded, he wouldn’t have much contact with family, just like all other Jedi don’t have significant contact with their birth families (exempting when said families are also Jedi).

Fifthly… Zabrak are no more vulnerable to the dark side than other species. They’re fiercely independent and good warriors, but they are not more susceptible to the Dark side than other species. There are countless Jedi of renown who are Zabrak. Their independence and skill at combat make them excellent Jedi Guardians.

Sixthly: Lightsaber crystals don’t merely lie around on the ground. They generally have to grow in the right sort of places. Perhaps a better option would be for it to be a parting gift from his Iridonian clan?

Seventhly: Force powers he has should be rooted in how he is trained and what he specializes at. Some choices come from innate talent, but most are taught and/or learned through need. Skills like advanced Tutaminis are not easy to learn and are typically rather rare. Empathy is most often based on an innate talent. If he’s a loner, then empathy probably isn’t a thing for him.

Eighthly: The Jedi Order is very strict on Jedi not having any significant contact with their families, especially not during their training. When they’re all grown up and knighted, they might visit as their free time allows, but they mostly don’t have time for it. The bonds are too weak when compared to the bonds they have to the Order.

Fallenreaper’s Additions

Flaw:One flaw you forgot, myLalia, was the fact Zabrak can’t take damage to either of their hearts because it will kill them. Other than that, you did a pretty good job on the species flaws. Though like Ellri suggested, I would add one or two flaws linked more to himself than his race.

Force Powers: I don’t see where Revitalization cames into his list of skills as there’s no mention of him learning it in the history or why his Tuminis is more adv. The adv Tuminis, if you're referencing Jayda's sheet, is more directly tied to her as PC development then trait tied to her race. He doesn't have to have this unless you feel it fits his character.

History: There’s major flaws, namely when I match it up with my timeline a bit, seeing as Blokere and Jayda are around the same age.

When each Zabrak child is given their rites, the emotional and physical by their same gender parent (Though a Zabrak Jedi could replace the parent due to the circumstance I believe or done under supervision) and it’s a private matter rather than public, the last, the Social Rite, is done during the Rising Festival. This tends to be a large event between related clans where all the children and adults engaged in fun activities, I think of it like a huge feast or family reunion where adults chatter while watching the children play, both engaging in many different games and fun together. Then at the end, all the younger children around the Rites age and below would go small game hunting for the feast's highlight. Since Jayda and Blokere were the same age, it’s highly possible these two had their Social Rite at the same time and during the Rising Festival, allowing them to have become decent friends. However it might not be ideal to have the master be present because it risks Jayda and her brother being discovered by Jedi, instead of Sith, altering my bio drastically. Not to mention the points Ellri made which would prevent it. As long as the rite involves another Clan, not the family one, than it is considered passed.

Another thing, it doesn’t make sense that the other Zabrak would isolate Jayda and her family especially since Blokere is also force sensitive. The only time they would scorn a Zabrak was if they refused, for some reason, to take their Res Seleoren and become Tlestri which they are outcasted by their family or risk to be subjected to the Blood Hunt, where family members end up hunting them to regain their honor. Nothing like blood shed between

In addition by the time her mother was injured, Jayda’s Res Selenoren were already over and she was no longer considered a child. Instead she was a nineteen year old Zabrak adult, the Rite usually taken around puberty, There’s only one way an adult Zabrak would still be considered a child even well into their adulthood was when they fail one of them before they turned 16. A rarity really so I know you likely don’t meant that. :p Also, her brother was already in the city capital and been there for some time, training. I can suggest an alternative, Blokere could’ve spotted her departing when he arrived the 2nd time on the homeworld. She would've been riding a Reek toward the city. Since he knew she was force sensitive, he could’ve contacted a local Jedi to contact and ‘recruit’ her. This would prevent direct contact and been later informed of two deaths at the residence her brother was at. From there he could draw his own conclusions based on how well you determine he knows Jayda. Which we can determine over pms if you like as the rp is ongoing.

Final point, no one learns about the Temple attack until it happens which is when Lyric informs them.
Addendum from Ellri: From the moment of the Sacking till anyone heard anything at all from, or about, coruscant took a couple of days, and even then, it would only be known to a select few. To the larger galaxy, Coruscant simply dropped off the grid completely for a few days. Only at the Peace Summit on Alderaan was it known about early, and only then because the Sith told the Jedi.
